I should have known. Now that I look back over the past few weeks, I can see signs of this coming.I’d thought it was wedding jitters. Our family had begun trickling into Shotgun, our western Montana town, making the incoming life commitment all the more real. That’d be enough to make any groom-to-be nervous. But then my fiancé never showed up to our wedding. My three bridesmaid friends were … wedding.
My three bridesmaid friends were amazing. They’d spun into action dispersing the guests while I sat, numb. Now we’re driving to the closest dive bar at my request, and I feel lots of things.
Hurt. Confused. Betrayed.
But most of all, I feel like my insides are alight with anger.
I’m ready to blow off some steam.
But love isn’t done with me yet. It has one more trick up its sleeve . . .

After being left at the altar Amelia and her friends head to the local bar. She ends out finding her true love Tatum. This is a sweet insta love story with a perfect HEA.
Amelia gets left at the altar by her fiancé so she gets her girls together to go out to a country bar called Desperados to dance and drink her pain away. Tatum is out with his friend as his wingman but he isn’t the slightest interested in either of the women his friend is chatting up. When he sees a sexy red head enter the bar its like everything else gets swept away but her. Amelia feels eyes on her and looks until she locks eyes on Tatum. When his friend sees where his interest has went he lets him off the hook. Tatum makes a bee line straight for Amelia. They end up dancing the night away and having an amazing heated time together. Can Tatum show her that he is the man for her? Will she give him a chance at her heart after what she just went through?
This is an amazing story that will have you hooked from the first page. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A future with him in it will be full of laughter, joy and more toe-curling O’s than she can count
So what is a girl to do when she is stood up at the aisle……………..have her best girl friends and bridesmaides takes her out to the nearest dive bar so you can drink and dance it all away, or at least to forget it for the evening. This is what happens to Amelia when her azzhat of a fiance Randall doesn’t show up to the wedding. Can we all say at the same time …………… good f’n riddance girl friend!!!! So they girls end up at a dive country bar named Desperado’s.
Tatum has come out to be wingman for his best buddy Wyatt for the evening so he can forget about the brutal last couple of months. They end up at a dive country bar named Desperado’s. While Wyatt is doing well with a couple of blondes that are sitting next to them at the bar Tatum is itching to get out on the dance floor and have some fun, especially as neither of the blondes are his type.
Just like in the movies Amelia and Tatum are both looking around the bar when they lock eyes and it is like a bolt of lightening where you can’t look away. The evening is about to get a whole lot better for Amelia and Tatum may have finally found his “one”.
This is a great short story that had me engaged from the beginning to the end. The characters are wonderfully written, not just Amelia and Tatum but also the supporting and diverse cast on both sides, and they had depth, emotion and were very believable. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and was left with a big smile on my face by the end. Well maybe also a few other times along the way as there is some very fun stuff that happens at the club besides dancing!!!
