This is the 2nd book I’ve read written by Jenna Harte; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Second chances, plenty of passion, some baggage, and a romance that seems real in the story. Jenna Harte has done a great job with the story line in Meant to Be. The characters feel real, the story line is easy to follow and very enjoyable. Following the lives of the characters and their relationship past and present as they they were meant to be was a joy to follow.

Awesome second chance romance between Mitch and Sydney. A passionate couple with undeniable chemistry. Great characters make for a great read.
Meant To Be is a perfect example of Jenna Harte’s expertise in composing a believable romance, full of second chances, broken promises, baggage from dangerous situations, lack of trust, lots of passion, and with an acceptable ending. The characters become friends of the reader, evoking a sigh of tenderness, fear of danger, anger at misunderstandings, and a few tears at various situations. In addition, Ms. Harte injects a prominent mystery into the story, and that would be enough to hold one’s interest, without the aforementioned romance. I have never been disappointed with anything Jenna Harte writes, and this book does not break that thread.

Sydney returns to Charlotte Tavern after an incident in New York, hoping to make amends with her first love Mitch after 10yrs.
Things don’t go as planned as he is still quite bitter. However when the threat comes to town he becomes her protector as well as friend with benefits.
A lot of their past is rehashed with a bit of angst added. Mitch is unsure of commitment as he has become a bit of a manwhore over the years, mainly to get over her. Drake & Lexie from the first book in the series play a part in this but it doesn’t impact the tale.
It is a hot second chance read with a bit of suspense as to who is after Sydney.
