She’s the last woman this cynical rancher thinks he needs in his life… a beloved classic from #1 New York Times bestselling author Linda Lael Miller! Keegan McKettrick has learned the hard way that trust results in betrayal. The only light in his life these days is the young daughter he sees all too rarely, and his sole passion is for his job overseeing his family’s corporation. Until … Until beautiful but mysterious Molly Shields comes to Indian Rock on a mission–and keeping a suspicious eye on her becomes Keegan’s full-time hobby….
Molly doesn’t know why she’s attracted to a man who’s determined to dig up dirt on her, even if he is gorgeous. But cynical Keegan might be the one person who can truly understand her shadowy past–and if the two can risk opening their hearts, they just might forge a brighter future.

Always good reading, characters…
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. This series of books is fun as you watch how each pig the men in this family finds love.
What can I say,Miller always writes a well thought out book. Her character development really pulls you into the story.
Once I started I couldn’t stop reading. The story was original and I found the characters engaging. I would definitely recommend.
Typical Linda Lael Miller, great read!
I like all of Linda Lael Miller’s books. I especially like the series ones. I started this and realized I had already read it, but in spite of the stack of books I own and the number on my kindle, I had to re-read this one.
It was everyday life. Love it and the characters.
Great story
Love the book. I always enjoy the Mckittrick books. You are never sure what is going to happen next. Once I start reading It’s hard to put down
Awesome
I’ve been reading a lot of romance novels lately–of the sort I could read in a few hours, enjoy the moment and then forget…pleasant. This book is much better than that! Way better than pleasant! The level of writing and plotting is much more enjoyable. I felt like I had gone from average to advanced. LLM knows how to put all the parts …
Great Book. I
I will read anything this author writes, and I buy them also.
Love all of her books.
