With an entry into the Ms. Rockin’ Rodeo pageant, a crash course in cow milking, and a stint as a … as a rodeo clown, the crime-solving friends have their hands full this time. I loved this book! In keeping with the “tradition” of other Lucy Quinn books, there were twists and turns, danger, mystery, and humor. I stayed on the edge of my seat and did not want to put it down. This was a fun series and I hate that this was the final book. This book is not a standalone and must be read in order.
4.0 out of 5 stars So fun!

Dora and Evie are desperate to get the flash drive but are stopping in Montana and you know there will be chaos and confusion. The characters are wonderful and the story kept me guessing. Loved it! I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
I have Loved this series! It has been full of twists and turns and mysteries and this book was no different. Evie, Dora and Sunshine are in Montana to get the evidence needed to clear Dora but come across another mystery they need to solve first. This book is so very good and cannot recommend this series enough.
Dora and Evie have reached their “last” rodeo! They’re both anxious to return home, but first tasks have to be completed. The way these tasks are depicted are delightful and hilarious! The witty banter adds to this enjoyable read. The series ends on a high note.
Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.
Mayhem in Montana (Accidentally Undercover Mysteries Book 4) by Lucy Quinn is a fantastic story to read. This is book number four in this fantastic series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about mysteries.
I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
Another screwball adventure with Dora and Evie. This time they’re in Montana. Will Thelma and Louise — er… Dora and Evie ever get their proof and their happily ever after? Read the book and find out. Fun, mystery, romance and adventure. Well written and hard to put down.
Evie and Dora are back! Sushi and the girls have made it to Windy’s ranch, hoping to hideout on the way back (they hope) to their usual lives. But fate is determined to puts snags in their best-laid plans. Now they have to solve another murder for Windy’s former paramour! He won’t part with the evidence they need until they get him out of hot water.
Time for the girls to revisit their old skills, adapt a few, and learn some brand new ones. Who knew being a Rodeo Clown would not be the most dangerous thing on their to-do list?
More than a few secrets are revealed, especially what a certain very helpful, very hunky chef is really up to!!!!
Great girls madcap adventure! It’s like Lucy and Ethel have been modernised! I love the total mayhem in their wake, the girls may flounder a bit but they always come out (relatively) on top!
I loved every minute of this captivating cozy with unforgettable characters and a story that quickly became a page turner with a great mystery, humor, rodeo action, a touch of romance and so much more. I am sad to say goodbye to Dora and Evie but look forward to what Lucy Quinn has in store for us next. If you enjoy fun cozies, don’t miss “Mayhem in Montana”. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.
A wonderful fun-filled mystery. I loved the twists and turns, the setting was entertaining and enjoyable and as always the characters were wonderful.
Dora and Evie have found themselves trapped in an underground shelter shortly after arrival at Windy’s ranch. They plan to retrieve the flash drive which clears Dora of the pending murder charge and return home to Pensacola. However, upon being released from the shelter by Sam, Windy’s significant other, they are told that they must clear Sam of a charge as a horse thief before obtaining the vital flash drive. Although both girls are furious, they have no choice and proceed to investigate. In typical hilarious and adventurous fashion, the two friends become pageant entrant, rodeo clown and potential horse adopters, all while enjoying Sam’s excellent cooking and the beauty of the Montana landscape. When they are joined by their men, Luke and Trace, the action ramps up and danger comes from unexpected sources. There will be a revelation that could change one of their lives forever. The two BFFs have grown and changed during their time on the run. Will they be able to return to normal lives in Florida even after the charges are dropped? I have thoroughly enjoyed these books and admit that I will miss these two and their amazing travels, but I’m certain that Lucy Quinn has more entertaining tales to tell us in the not too distant future.
Another rockin’ adventure. Last time we left the girls and pup in some kind of tunnel they crashed into. We know they can’t stay there if they are gonna get the evidence to exonerate her from a murder charge. This isn’t the first adventure while getting their own evidence.
This adventure requires something to help out Windy’s boyfriend who was in a similar legal situation.
Not what they want after all the other “adventures” they have been on to solve other crimes. Looks like they don’t have a choice. This time they get to use some old skills and developed some new ones. Got some rodeo experience coming up and the reader will laugh out loud for this one. But there is danger as well and surprises for all.
Will the men in their lives show up again? Will they finally get their freedom? A fun read for all.
As the last book in this series it was a terrific story and I kept thinking how were Dora and Evie going to put this off? It was quite funny in places and I love how the series rapped up. You don’t want to miss the last book.
This end to the series does not disappoint.
I love the mixture of murder, mayhem and romance mixed with a very healthy dose of laughter. The series is light-hearted in tone but keeps you in suspense as well.
The book finds them continuing their journey but not on the path you would expect. They really have quite an experience that challenges their mission and their lives.
I highly recommend the series. It has been a fun journey that I will miss.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
“Mayhem In Montana” is a page-turner mystery read with lots of humor, suspense, action, life-threatening moments, surprises and sweet romance. Picturesque vivid scene descriptions, fabulous character interaction and a wonderful storyline make this an intriguing read.
Dora and Evie are in Montana to secure the flash drive that will clear Dora’s name of a murder she didn’t commit. Windy their newfound friend needs help to clear the name of her love Sam. While trying to find who stole a famous race horse Evie and Dora make some new friends and enemies too. Dora’s Luke and Evie’s Trace show up in Montana to help find the famous horse. Sunshine, Evie’s dog has a few surprises of her own that will warm your heart.
Fantastic entertaining conclusion to this captivating series. The author does a superb job showing how Dora and Evie mature with each adventure in search of the flash drive. Loving this read, I voluntarily reviewed a pre-release copy via the author.
The fun never ends with Dora and Evie. Had me laughing out loud. A perfect ending to this series.
I just loved this series, and this book wraps it up very nicely. The friendship between Dora and Evie continues to be entertaining as well as heartwarming. I love the chemistry, the quick way they think on their feet through difficult situations, and the way they always have each other’s backs. The Miss Rockin’ Rodeo pagenat was such a hoot to read on top of a great story. Would definitely recommend!
I believe that Mayhem in Montana is my favorite in this four book series. The blurbs and other reviews summarize the plots, but this had been one wild ride. I have loved Dora, Evie, Sunshine, Trace and Luke as they have evolved through the series. There have been murders, mayhem, drug trade and plots against the elderly. The girls have been responsible for seeing a lot of justice doled out. In this latest case of the stolen racehorse, this fine team of sleuths outdid themselves. Everything is brought to quite satisfactory resolutions. I hate to say goodbye to these characters. I could not put this one down!
