Right from the beginning I was hooked! Well written. Beautiful chemistry between the characters. Amazing narration. Need more from this series.
I enjoyed this.
Great story. I like the characters.
vulgar language. graphic description of sex.
I have received a complimentary copy of Maybe, Yes. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion, as I have done.
Wow – You Won’t See What Is Coming!
Kinsley Elizabeth Felton, twenty-one, has rooms full of designer clothes but she can take them or leave them. A model since age twelve, she is about to graduate from Yale with a degree in theater. She hasn’t dated in three years, since breaking up with her high school boyfriend. She follows all the plans her father and grandfather carefully laid out for her, never wanting to be the cause of disappointment. She had caused too much trouble five years earlier. She wouldn’t risk being the cause of more trouble for her family.
Her grandfather, Lee Felton, built the family empire from a single Las Vegas casino into nearly twenty properties. Felton Corporation has remained a family company for generations. As the sole heir, Kinsley understands that she is expected to agree to an arranged marriage to a man her father and grandfather feel will make a good CEO and husband.
Killian Browne, thirty, has dark piercing eyes and reeks of sex-appeal. He doesn’t smile much. He is VP of Operations at Felton Corporation and being considered for the CEO position. With a business degree from Harvard and some law school under his belt, he was recruited to Felton Corporation five years earlier. He formed a deep bond with Kinsley’s father, Robert. Three years ago, he was informed about a plan for him to marry Kinsley and become CEO. Because of her age, he did not approach Kelsey.
According to the plan, Kinsley was supposed to model and act following graduation, not meeting her future husband until her late twenties. Then after a reasonable amount of time to date, they would marry by the time she was thirty.
When the plan gets turned upside down, Kinsley learns that the timetable has shifted and a marriage will take place in six months. She has always done as told, but says she can’t do this. Even if his considerable appeal does tempt her to agree, Killian doesn’t want to marry her unless forced to for the CEO position.
The atmosohere is explosive when Kinsley and Killian meet in Las Vegas. They dance around their feelings for one another throughout the book. Despite their incredible chemistry, both struggle with admitting to their developing feelings. Be prepared for surprises!
This book is well-written. The plot is suspenseful. It sometimes feels too wishy-washy, and the business-related scenes feel a bit too simplified and inauthentic. Maybe Yes is written from Kinsley’s POV. The next books in the series, Maybe Never and Maybe Always, alternate between Kinsley and Killian’s POVs. I rate this book four stars.

Maybe Yes by Ella Miles is an arranged marriage romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Keira Stevens. This is the first book in the Maybe Series and does end on a cliffhanger.
This is the first book of Ella’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved the chemistry between Kinsley and Killian. The cliffhanger was amazing and I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series Maybe Never.
Keira did an amazing job on the narration. She really knows how to bring a story to life.
I would recommend this book if you love Arranged Marriages, Billionaire Romances, or Enemies To Lovers.
I have read a few of Ella Miles’s books and have enjoyed them, and I did this one as well. If you don’t like a weak heroine than, this book might not be for you. Kinsley is young, indecisive, and has been told what to by the men in her life, all her like so she has a hard time making up her mind, Her life is about to change, and she doesn’t want any part of it.
This was a quick read, huge cliffhanger, I enjoyed the narrator.
I received a free audible code in exchange for an honest review.
Fantastic Story & Audible Listen Captivating & Amazing!
Maybe Yes
Maybe, Definitely, Book 1
By: Ella Miles
Narrated by: Keira Stevens
This is a fantastic book and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, from Ella Miles wonderful writing style to the story and characters she created to Keira’s Stevens’ fabulous narration. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and held it captive straight to the end. The characters are complex and nicely developed, Kinsley Felton grew up in wealth, her family owns casinos and hotels in Vegas. She adored her father, shadowed him when she was younger and even left her life choices up to him. He pretty much had her life planned out for her, from birth to adulthood. But adulthood comes sooner than she thought and she is finally realizing everything that was planned out for her may not be exactly what she wants, she may want something more. My heart went out to Kinsley, while her father adored her he did not do her any favors in the way he set up her life, but there may be more to this and I am looking forward to finding out. I adored Killian, his determination and drive to get what he wants and doing what he needs to do to get it. I also loved the chemistry between him and Kinsley, it was smoking hot. There is never a dull moment in this book, it is greatly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, some heartfelt moments and some smoking hot ones too. I loved the mind-blowing ending, I did not see that coming at all, WTG, Ella Miles awesome blindside, I am looking forward to what comes next in “Maybe Never” the second book of the “Maybe, Definitely” series. Thank you for this fantastic story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Keira Stevens is a fabulous narrator and voice artist. She brings the characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. She does an amazing job portraying the characters, humanizing them, capturing their emotions and projecting them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen
Kinsley’s life is a one heaping pile of crazy on top of another. The men around her are constantly deciding her fate for her. Of course, she’s just as responsible as they are for allowing it to happen. When she finally finds a backbone, life throws more garbage at her. I didn’t see the cliffhanger coming (yes, I knew it would end on one but I didn’t expect this). So good. Her chemistry with Killian is a scorcher! I enjoyed this book, along with the audiobook which made it even better!
The First book was fantastic. Alpha male and great story. But from there it just goes downhill. The alpha male Killian turns into a love sick puppy bordering on annoying after book 1. And Kinsley, who I felt so sorry for in the beginning turned annoying as well after she found her inner strength. But there was just too much contradiction in this series for me to recommend it.
Spoiler.
In the middle of a hostage situation (FBI cuts power to the building where people are held captive – shooting all around – people getting killed) – Kinsley decides she wants to have sex at that very moment! Ugg. Really, who does that?
This novel was slow to grab me..yet once it did I had a hard time putting it down. The characters are diverse and evolve well. Without sharing a spoiler…I think that the characters are going to get more exposed in the next book. The story line is not new but the twists are new. I would encourage anybody who likes a bit of drama and angst to read this book.
LOVE Ella’s books!
Like the story BUT was very disappointed with end leaving you hanging!!!
This was a clever book. It has an interesting plot which I loved. It surprises me so much at the end. I do need to find out what happens next! I thought I knew where the book was leading to but I was wrong. The characters are wonderful and you are able to relate to so easily. They will surprise you so many times in this book. I love this author.
Kinsley grew up with money, her family always had money, but when her father dies all of a sudden, she must come home and figure things out for herself and her family. But when she meets Killian all things change. Could her family really want her to marry this man? Will she go through an arranged marriage and allow Killian to become CEO?
Killian sees and meets Kinsley and knows he has to have her no matter the cost to himself or her. He made a promise to Kinsley’s father to keep her safe, and he isn’t going to break that promise. But when things happen, can he be sure to keep that promise? Will they each survive each other?
This story is full of so many emotions, twists, turns, drama, suspense, love, lust, romance and a cliffhanger. But the cliffhanger only increases your interest in the series…it leaves you wondering and wanting for more and more!! The ending of this book is wonderfully twisted!!! I can’t wait for the rest of the series!!! You will love this book/series! I received an ARC of this book from the author.
This was such a wonderful love story. I enjoyed it very much. The storyline was spot on and was well executed. I recommend it.

This book is a great read. Love, loyalty and betrayal are all in this book. I can’t wait for book 2. Great read!
What happens in Vegas isn’t always a dream…
Who knew that decisions would come to not be your own. To have everything decided for you and go with the flow. Reading this book I swear, the men think they know all which makes me laugh. While reading this book I felt I could relate to her as being in an impossible position and not able to make choices at times for myself. I can’t wait to read the next book.

This is the first book in a trilogy, and it does end with a big cliffhanger. The story and no doubt the trilogy centers around Kinsley, who wants to inherit but must marry to do so, and Killian who wants the CEO position in the company! There is great chemistry between these 2 characters. There are a number of secondary characters who are very much needed in this story. I am looking forward to reading book 2. Kinsley Felton comes from money. Old money. Her grandfather turned one casino into twenty properties and now the family has money enough for generations to live off even if nothing more is gained. She’s always done everything her family has asked of her, never telling them no. Her father calls every Friday evening while she’s at college. But the Friday after her twenty-fist birthday her best friend convinced her she needed
Kinsley was the princess of the family. Raised with old money from a company started three generations ago with one casino that her grandfather turned into twenty properties. Modelling since she was twelve. Enough clothes, jewelry and shoes to fill three bedrooms of a house, about to graduate from Yale and a dutiful daughter. Mistakes have been made. One that is alluded to in her past that almost destroyed her family. The second was going out partying on a Friday night shortly after her twenty-first birthday and having an almost one night affair. She wasn’t home to receive the continual phone calls from her father only to find out the next morning from her Grandfather that her father had passed away during the night.
The funeral has been held, her mother is falling off the wagon again with drink and she’s lost. She’s always had her father there to tell her what needs to be done. He was who she depended on when she needed answers. She was his princess even if her and her mother never got along. Now her duty as a Felton daughter was being imposed almost nine years early, she didn’t know what to do and had no one to ask for advice or guidance.
Ella Miles has once again shown how powerful an author she is. This storyline flowed quickly immersing me into the world of the Felton’s and their casinos. The characters were so relatable they felt like someone you would know personally. The emotional rollercoaster and sexual tension between Kinsley and Killian is a slow burn building until it engulfs the pages. The plot, or what I thought was a plot, takes a quick left turn with a heart stopping cliff hanger making me immediately want to grab book two.

This story is intense and you will not be able to put it down. Kinsley is a daddy’s girl. She has always done what is expected of her down to who she will marry when the time comes. She wasn’t expecting that time to come so soon and it is staring her in the face. The man they want her to marry is not whom they think he is but that doesn’t stop Kinsley from wanting to be with him. Will they make it to a happily ever after.
