I really enjoyed Asher and Emma’s story. I listened to this one in audio, so I also want to say that the narrator did a good job, as well. I always point out that I recently found Jennifer Snow’s books and have tried to read as many as possible. I love her style of writing. She knows how to craft an emotional story with great character growth plus they give me all the feels. This book was no exception. I can’t wait to read the rest of the stories in this series.
I love books with a bond before love comes.

Follow Emma and Asher as they try to sort fact from fiction, friends with benefits from love. See where it all ends up. Is Emma alone in her fantasy or will Asher make her Christmas wish come true. A beautiful love story for Christmas

Asher Westmore is at a loss right now, everything in his life revolves around hockey, but after suffering an injury, he’s not able to do what he loves… and it’s killing him. He is stuck in his home town, around his overbearing family, while he recuperates and he can’t wait to get healed up and back to Jersey. Good thing he has the perfect little distraction until then to help him heal and keep him busy… his best friend with benefits Emma. But he’s just found out that Emma may not be sticking around much longer, she has a great opportunity in front of her, and another man vying for her attention, and it is really unsettling for Asher. She has always been his rock, and he isn’t so ready to let her slip away… which means it might just be time to stake his claim!

As soon as I cracked the cover on this one I was pulled right back into the lives of my favorite characters from the Colorado Ice series and once again treated to a heartwarming read that left my heart happy. Asher and Emma were quite the pair, their touching story had plenty of moments that made me smile, made me swoon, and made my heart rejoice, it was such a great read!
