This series is definitely a rollercoaster worth riding but it is one heck of a crazy ride. Killian keeps more from Kinsley than he shares and those secrets are doozies! I was glad I had audiobooks for the first two installments, as it meant I didn’t have to put it down.
It’s a bit hard to rate this book series. It started with lots of potential, suspense and enough ups and downs to keep the pages flying. It went on too long though. It felt too long. Like things were added to extend the story. I didn’t love the characters. They were ok but felt a bit manufactured. I didn’t stop reading it, but you’ll need to suspend reality to finish this story. It was still fast moving and entertaining so if you like fictional fiction, you might like this story. I thought it was just okay. I didn’t mind putting the book down and coming back the next day so.
Ella Miles does such a great job at telling you a story and sucking you in. The Maybe series has all the emotions, angst, steamy scenes and great characters. She is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!
Really liked this series. Moves fast with just enough intrigue, good characters.
Wow – You Won’t See What Is Coming!
Kinsley Elizabeth Felton, twenty-one, has rooms full of designer clothes but she can take them or leave them. A model since age twelve, she is about to graduate from Yale with a degree in theater. She hasn’t dated in three years, since breaking up with her high school boyfriend. She follows all the plans her father and grandfather carefully laid out for her, never wanting to be the cause of disappointment. She had caused too much trouble five years earlier. She wouldn’t risk being the cause of more trouble for her family.
Her grandfather, Lee Felton, built the family empire from a single Las Vegas casino into nearly twenty properties. Felton Corporation has remained a family company for generations. As the sole heir, Kinsley understands that she is expected to agree to an arranged marriage to a man her father and grandfather feel will make a good CEO and husband.
Killian Browne, thirty, has dark piercing eyes and reeks of sex-appeal. He doesn’t smile much. He is VP of Operations at Felton Corporation and being considered for the CEO position. With a business degree from Harvard and some law school under his belt, he was recruited to Felton Corporation five years earlier. He formed a deep bond with Kinsley’s father, Robert. Three years ago, he was informed about a plan for him to marry Kinsley and become CEO. Because of her age, he did not approach Kelsey.
According to the plan, Kinsley was supposed to model and act following graduation, not meeting her future husband until her late twenties. Then after a reasonable amount of time to date, they would marry by the time she was thirty.
When the plan gets turned upside down, Kinsley learns that the timetable has shifted and a marriage will take place in six months. She has always done as told, but says she can’t do this. Even if his considerable appeal does tempt her to agree, Killian doesn’t want to marry her unless forced to for the CEO position.
The atmosohere is explosive when Kinsley and Killian meet in Las Vegas. They dance around their feelings for one another throughout the book. Despite their incredible chemistry, both struggle with admitting to their developing feelings. Be prepared for surprises!
This book is well-written. The plot is suspenseful. It sometimes feels too wishy-washy, and the business-related scenes feel a bit too simplified and inauthentic. Maybe Yes is written from Kinsley’s POV. The next books in the series, Maybe Never and Maybe Always, alternate between Kinsley and Killian’s POVs. I rate this book four stars.

Kinsley Felton was a girl that had everything and no reason to believe there was anything wrong in the world or that her family was not just successful casino owners. But things can change quickly, especially when she finds out that she needs to marry a stranger that her father has been training to take over the family business, her father dies and with it comes the beginning of all the family secrets unraveling. I could not wait to read each book of this series as it was released. When the boxed set became available I took the opportunity to read each and every book from scratch back to back, what an amazing read! The complex story line, the characters and the emotions that come out as each twist and turn sucks you in deeper and deeper as Kinsley figures out all her father’s dealings. I cannot recommend this series more strongly. For that matter be prepared to be hooked on this author. Pick this one up, clear your schedule and truly enjoy Kinsley’s journey.

ONE OUTSTANDING JOURNEY!!!
Slam dunk! Chaos and mayhem set the stage for this action packed, hard hitting, page flipping dynamo. Satisfying is an understatement. The skepticism, speculations and revelations are debunked in stunning delight. One rollercoaster ride with a plethora of swirling emotions burst forward front and center. A compelling storyline and engaging plot propel this bad boy to life flawlessly. A churning eddy of daunting circumstances and a bounty of surprising events thrust this bad boy together sleek, shiny and tight. Wrestling through the trials and tribulations as well as a slew of twists and turns blast this bad boy wild open. The characters personalities are authentic, genuine and realistic with qualities and depth that draw you in. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive it’s easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Remarkable job Ella, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Excellent, hot, full of twists and unpredictable
Surprising and very good unpredictable romance because it begins as a hate / love story between two people working in the same company, and it evolves into a financial and criminal plot. The characters are excellent with Kilian that i would like to hate but for whom it is impossible, and Kinsley, naive but strong who discovers that nothing around her is like what it seemed.
The beginning is very good: how to react when we learn the day of the burial of his father that the next day she will meet her future husband ?
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Kinsley and Killian. This series had me from page one. A heart stopping ride with a fantastic story line. You have to read this series!! Highly recommend!!
I loved this story!!!! I’m so pissed with the FBI. I know there’s a mole in there somewhere. Loved it so much I bought the next series “Definitely “.
This series of books is excellent! It’s got everything you need. BDSM, hot hot sex, love, hate, mystery, friendship, enemies, poverty and luxury. it’s a real page turner and will leave you wanting more from this author.
Kind of like a soap opera. Books leave u hanging rather than concluding the story.
