It’s just pretend…but nobody wants to stop.
Triple X, Book 2
Maxie’s quiet, predictable routine is shattered when she steps outside her flower shop and almost runs into two women. It’s not the near collision that’s startling. It’s the strangers’ faces. It’s like looking in a mirror times two, and it sends her into a dead faint.
Sheriff Zac Ford sees three identical copies of the woman who’s … three identical copies of the woman who’s caused him more sleepless nights than he can count, and it stops him in his tracks. Maxie’s buckling knees snap him out of his trance, and he catches her before she hits the cement.
Two sisters she never knew she had? Maxie can’t deal with this turmoil, not on her own. She needs a shield, a rock. For the first time in her life, she takes a wild leap of faith.
When Maxie calls him her boyfriend, Zac has no trouble playing along. It’ll give him time to figure out what these “sisters” want. Soon, though, for-show kisses get hotter and playacting touches grow bold. And Maxie must choose to stay in her safe little world, or grab life by the horns.
Warning: Don’t lie. It only leads to more lies, hotter kisses, bolder touches, less bed space, strange looks about town, and a complete loss of shyness.

MAXIE is a standalone read with a happy ever after. Maxie is the local florist in a small town. She is very shy, doesn’t date much and mostly just works and goes home. There is a new cop in town and she has a crush on him. He has a crush on her as well but he knows how shy she is and he doesn’t want to scare her away. He parks in front of her …
When I thought something was predictable, it turned out differently. It is a quick read with great characters.
Enjoyed book two as much as book one. Loved watching Maxie grow Into a stronger, self confident Women. Now onto Roxie…
Cute and fun read!
Loved it
Loved Lexie, so I had to read Maxie and if possible, it’s even better! Looking forward to Roxie’s story next!
Sweet story
enjoyed the series
Read two out of three. Need to get Roxie read in one setting, enjoyed it very much.
Good reading, a cut above the usual. I read this one and then intentionally searched out and enjoyed the other two in the series.
This is the second installment in the Triple X Trilogy. I love this Series of interconnected stories, with an ongoing plot. The Series continues where the first book left off. Maxie and Zac’s story is fun, sweet, sexy, and romantic. Josie Kurz did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listen to Roxie, the last book in …
This audiobook is part of the author’s series titled, Triple X. A series about three sisters, triplets, that were separated as babies. None of them recalling their separation. While two were adopted, one ended up on the foster system.
Roxie and Lexie have found each other and decide they need to meet , Maxie the third of the triplets.
Maxie is …
Maxie was the last one to find out she is a triplet and the family that she knew could be completely different than reality. Zac, the sheriff, is there to catch her faint of surprise and help her navigate this new discovery. They have several hot sex scenes. The narrator was new to me and did a good job.
I requested this audiobook from …
Interesting story about triplets separated as youngsters and reunited as adults with a sheriff who butts in to help. Heavy on sex. Minimal foul language. Strong characters. Happy for now ending. Worth adding to your reading list.
10/16/2020 An interesting beginning pulled me in to “Maxie” (nook) and then I read the twist (I have not read “Lexie” yet). Maxie is quite shy most of the time yet she can be brave. Zac and Maxie both suffer angst during their “courtship.” A great HEA (at least for the two main characters).
Loved it.
This book is the 2nd in a series about 3 identical twin sisters divided… I absolutely love this series.. I am now on the 3rd book and can’t wait to see what happens.. Maxie in this book is shy and timid .. but it doesn’t take long for that handsome sheriff to draw her out of that shell and into his arms..
Quick read. Fun plot.
