Natalie will train me.
Cocker Brothers: Very adult. Written chronologically. Best enjoyed in order as each novel builds on the last and clues are left throughout, but all standalones – if you prefer to bounce around, you won’t get lost.

WOW!!! Faleena you have amazed me once again. This book was very moving and awe-inspiring. I love that we got to have some more J & J twin tag teaming once again. I just love those two.
In this book Jason’s son Max is making his own movie and it is centered around his dad’s past life. He is passionate about it and needs the perfect producer to make sure it goes off without a glitch.
While auditions for that perfect producer come to a close with no prospects, a beautiful woman barges in and demands to be interviewed. This was his hottest interview yet and she believes in his film and can see his vision as clearly as him. But his family warned him to watch out with her. But why?
Things are going great till his producer disappears and he needs help. So he makes the call. Will his family be able to help him with this problem?
This book as many of the others express to the audience over and over that the Cockers may have money, but each member has made their money the hard way, from nothing to something. Rumors fly that they are spoiled rich assholes. But that is farther from the truth and Max really expresses that in this book.
I loved Max. He is the true definition of a Cocker. Him and his brothers are cocky as hell and I loved every minute of it. I love the interactions of the Cocker family members. They are amazing and have that true family bond. No one messes with the Cockers and gets away with it. And if you are accepted into their inner circle then you are blessed and protected as well. FAMILY!
Faleena has created a world in Atlanta filled with the Cockers. Each of the Cocker series books are wonderful and well written stories of love and cockiness. Each book is just as good if not better than the last. You are never disappointed. Once you are a fan, you are a fan for life. Another fabulous 5 star read!!! Can we just give them more stars because we can.
Really, I love all of the Cocker family! Nice to read about Max – oldest son of Jason, one of the twins.
Max decides to make a film about the relationship between his father and Bernie and how it impacted the entire family. As the process begins, he is looking for a producer and is blindsided by Natalie during the interviews. She hears someone is interviewing for a producer and takes a chance. They are combustible from the very beginning. Along the way, various threads from Jason and Gabriel’s stories weave throughout. It is always good to see other Cocker family members, reminding us that the stories, while individual, are also interwoven.
The Cockers always make me smile and laugh. Thanks for another great story. Looking forward to the next one!
Natalie and Max are ready for their close ups! Natalie kind of hates everything about her job. Her boss is a slimy shark, the stigma is toxic, and most of the people are complete headcases – if it wasn’t for the money… and even that barely makes it justifiable. When she crashed the interviews for small budget movie looking for a producer she meets the Director Max and fall gets a major case of the instas! Instalove for the project and Instalust for Max. Max has poured his blood sweat and tears into making this movie a reality. He will not compromise his vision and knows this story needs to be shared. After meeting with countless applicants he is losing faith in finding his Right Hand until Natalie Noe hijacks his interview and blows his mind in every way possible. He cannot imagine a better person to help him make his vision a reality – now if only he could keep his hands off her! The suspense and action won’t only be delegated to the silver screen but Max is determined to have his lady, movie, and cake and he will eat it too!
I voluntarily reviewed copy of this book.
Faleena Hopkins is amazing. Her Cocker Brothers series is a must read! All six brothers and now their offspring are a great way to spend a lazy day (or night) at home. Once you read one you won’t be able to resist reading the rest. Each book is different but they all have the same thing in common…love of family. You can feel the bond in each interaction of the brothers and, in later books, the other siblings and cousins. I highly recommend that you read this series!
Love this series…but not this book! Seemed a bit scattered… The future book set ups just didn’t mesh as well as others… This book seems rushed…
