New York Times bestseller Dianna Love delivers an all-night read with her new League of Gallize Shifter series.MATING A GRIZZLY is book two in this new and unusual shifter romance series. Justin is an elite black ops warrior on a unique shifter team. He’s as deadly as they come and determined to succeed on every mission. He turns into a monster grizzly and rushes into danger without hesitation … grizzly and rushes into danger without hesitation to do his duty … but he’s having second thoughts on his current assignment. If there’s one thing he can’t tolerate it is arrogant people like the jerks he grew up around who acted superior to him. Justin can’t believe he’s stuck playing bodyguard for a Russian shifter princess. He’d rather face down a pack of armed terrorists alone than spend time with a cold-hearted prima donna. Except, Elianna turns out to be unlike anything he expected. She’s hot, but he’d like to see her smile. He’s on a mission to get that smile—and more. First he has to stop the assassin trying to kill him and kidnap her.
Having lived her life as an outcast among her own kind, Elianna hates being called princess. She’s the ugly mistake of a Russian grizzly shifter who got her polar bear mother pregnant while on a sabbatical from his mate. With the exception of the little boy she saved after his clan abandoned him, men are the bane of Elianna’s life. When she makes a miscalculation under duress, her biological father coerces Elianna into accepting a deal with high stakes if she fails.
Justin is unlike any other man, human or shifter, she’s ever been around. He makes her want things she can’t have—like mating—because the deal she struck prevents a relationship with him or she’ll never see the little boy again who is everything to her. Her plan was simple and doable, but meeting Justin complicated everything.
“GRAY WOLF MATE is a truly ground-breaking paranormal romance. Ms. Love is a writer who can conceive an innovative idea, and then cleverly bring it to life for readers to enjoy.“ Always Reviewing (League of Gallize Shifters book 1)
Note: All the League of Gallize Shifter books are stand alone paranormal romances.

Brilliant 2nd Book
Not quite as much comedy as Grey Wolf Mate (book 1) but more action, I couldn’t read it fast enough. Cole & Tess have almost no part in this story, the focus is on Justin, his skills as a soldier and his emotional rollercoaster ride of highs and lows. Escorting and protecting shifter royalty should have been a walk in the park, but Justin was completely wrong about that, and about how he feels about Elianna, he’s wrong about quite a lot, as he realises he found his mate while trying to stop the bad guys from killing them both. You hope for a HEA without being able to forecast how.
There is not alot of ones that center around grizzlies out there so there are a delight to read. Even though I had read the first one this one could be read alone and still would be able to follow. Justin can make you swoon and drool. At first being a body guard for this particular person does not sit right. It is that one saying I would say. Elianna is not what is expected and danger is real. The mating call is there but realism on her side thanks to arrangements make it not so in her mind. See where this goes as the pace picks up and the danger nips. I know what I want to happen and read what does. Want a perfect escape with something that will give thrills also this is the one.
Mating A Grizzly is an exciting and romantic story about a Gallize Shifter, Justin. He’s not happy when the Guardian tells him that his next assignment is to be the bodyguard for a Russian Princess. Elianna is a hybrid bear shifter. Is that why someone wants to kidnap her? Justin will do everything in his power to keep her safe and find out who’s behind this attack. Elianna isn’t spoiled and cosseted. She’s powerful shifter, but most important she’s protective and will do what’s necessary to keep those she loves safe. I was sorry that others made her ashamed of who she was. I loved the chemistry between Justin and Elianna. They were perfect together. Unfortunately it didn’t look like they would become mates. The friends to lovers’ trope is a favorite of mine. As always I enjoyed Dianna Love’s tale. Her characters are so engaging that they make you want them to find love. The dialogue and the story sizzles. This second book in The Gallize Shifter series kept my reading. I needed answers. The audiobook, thanks to the narration by Stephen R. Thorne, ramps up the tension. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
This is a great book; this book is the second book in the League of Gallize Shifters series written by Dianna Love. This book has it all suspense, adventure, romance and paranormal. These books keep getting better and better. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.
Mating a Grizzly by Dianna Love is amazing
I love Dianna’s writing style when it comes to her shifters. You can tell she writes with her heart in her stories and trying to make sure the reader falls in love as much as she has with her own characters. The book is very well written and put together.
Justin is a Gallize a specail type of shifter who’s job is to protect man from other paranormals that threaten the peaceful life of shifters. He gets a call from his old clan that shunned him telling him he needs to escort this russian bear. Justin isn’t pleased but accepts and he’s dreading on dealing with a pampered princess or so he thinks.
Elianna has had a difficult life, shunned by her father’s clan and left alone as fair as she has known. What she didn’t know was her father was watching her, and was going to use her for his own personal game. Elianna making a deal to keep a child safe so the child wouldn’t be alone. Wasn’t the top things on Elianna’s list, nor was falling for Justin as he makes her, and her bear rather intrigued. The twists and turns of this gets you, where it’s not too much but just the right amount to keep you wanting more.
Stephen R. Thorne does an excellent job at narrating the story. Giving Elianna and her family accents without going overboard and making it sound bad. I’m impressed as some people do a good job and some don’t Mr Thorne hits it on the mark. Bringing Dianna’s book to life while your only wanting more and can’t wait to find out. 10/10 I would reccommend this book to my friends and have gifted it to one!
League of Gallize Shifters Book Two
As a child, Elianna is exiled from her father’s clan of shifters due to her mixed blood. However, he keeps watch over her. When her mother is killed he steps in to protect Elianna, but altruism is not his reason. He has made a deal with an American clan of bears to make a trade. Justin is with his Gallize brothers when he gets the call that he must escort an heiress to his old clan. Considering his clan shunned him when he was younger, he doesn’t have any inclination to return, especially not in the company of some pampered princess. Neither of them could be more wrong about their preconceived notions about the other.
If you’re looking for a story with shifters, politics and obliterated expectations, this is the book for you!
Audio Review:
Stephen R. Thorne performs the story with care. He gives Elianna and her family great accents, but he doesn’t go overboard.
When a Russian bear, the illegitimate daughter of of a grizzly alpha, is sent to North America to find a mate one of the Guardian’s warriors is sent to accompany her and see her safely to her new clan. It wouldn’t be a story if things went exactly as planned, so expect the unexpected in this tale of the the Gallize shifters.
I loved this story. It was sexy, full of action and very funny. I loved the character of Elianna with her struggles with English, her wry pragmatism and her plucky attitude, and Justin’s exasperation with his grizzly-polar bear charge is absolutely charming.
For action fans, there’s plenty of shifter violence as Justin and his bear fight to protect their charge from all comers. For Dianna Love, it’s another chance to see a master at work as she continues to build one of my favourite literary mythologies.
One of the few times when number 2 in a series is way better than no 1. Delightful characters and a good storyline
