Gabriel spoke to his new Lycan pack, created by turning criminals and con-men into Lycan shifters to guarantee he would have the strongest pack in the entire region. Wes was assigned to watch over Danica and protect her from Gabriel, who was currently locked up in police custody. But Landon told him he needed to be even more vigilant because several of his pack members were still at large and desperate. With most of the women they had turned now under protection, he was concerned they would come after Danica. As they were talking, Landon got a phone call – Gabriel had escaped with the help of a woman! And Landon had strong suspicions it could have been Danica. Wes defended her – he would have known, wouldn’t he? Especially since Danica was his mate! He was going to have to confront her and find out.

Wes knew Danica’s schedule, and he was concerned when she didn’t follow her normal path to class. She never missed a class. He may have to reveal her secret to Landon if he couldn’t find her. He went to her apartment. The at-large pack members had indeed been there and left right before his arrival. He told her he knew what Gabriel had done to her. He knew she ran illegally with the pack. He also told her he knew she remembered being turned. But she was truly surprised when he said Gabriel escaped. She had not been the one to help him. She also had secrets from Gabriel. She knew Gabriel would search for her, so Wes took her from the apartment. When asked why he was helping her, he told her he was committed to protecting her – but he did not tell her that she was his true mate. Would their secrets cause their deaths? How would they get out of this dangerous situation with the pack and Gabriel now running free?

Everyone’s secrets play a big part in this story. All the loose ends are being tied up. If you’ve been reading the series, you’ll know how good the story line is and will be involved in the characters you’ve come to know. Don’t miss this chance to see how it all comes together. It’s worth reading!

This is such an exciting story, it’s full of action, passion and twists and turns. I think Wes is such a great character, I want to say so much more but don’t want to leave any spoilers. You won’t be disappointed after reading this book.

And we see there was more to what’s been happening there & how the 3 other women couldn’t remember what had happened to them..

The final book of the Alpha Protectors – Wes is ordered to protect Danika. When he realises that she does remember that she had been turned and actually had willingly lived with Gabriel he is torn between duty to the Council and the strong urge to protect Danica – as she is his mate.
Finally approaching her, he finds out that although willing she had not been a happy participant and he decides to lie to the Council to protect her.
Finally the Council has a way to find Gabriel and to destroy him and his pack.
A good finale and a much hoped for happy ending for all.

A highly entertaining, emotional thrill-ride that will leave you breathless…. this adventure has it all danger around every corner, passion that is undeniable and secrets that are heartbreaking. An engaging reading experience that I could not put down.

Mate’s Lesson: Alpha Protectors by Juniper Hart is the fourth and possibly the final in the Alpha Protecor Series. This another well-written book by Ms. Hart with strong characters and an interesting plot. The author melds emotionally charged and danger packed scenes smoothly together for a great read. The many multiple twists and turns manage to leave room for some steamy scenes.

Danica was the first human turned by Gabriel for his new pack. Her job was to select the other humans to be turned and teach them the laws of the pack. But something went wrong, all the women except Danica somehow escaped with no memory of being turned. Then the Council of Seven made it so Gabriel’s pack can’t turn anyone else. Now the pack is attacking anyone, hoping for someone to turn.

Wes has been tasked in watching over Danica and keeping her safe. The Council also wants to find out what she’s been doing since she was turned. Has she been helping Gabriel all this time? If she’s been part of the atrocities the pack has done, she’ll forfeit her life. I really enjoyed the complicated, but strong character chemistry between Wes and Danica.

This was a great five star read with a storyline that pulled me right in and kept me reading late into the night. I definitely recommend this mildly steamy book.

This is the first book from Juniper Hart that I have read but it won’t be the last. There are secrets in this one. I don’t do spoilers so if you want to know what the secrets are and how it turns out, get this one. I encourage you to get this one it is worth it!!!

This was a good book. I was kind of lost in the beginning and to be honest, I almost didn’t finish it. But the characters and the twisted story line drew me in and I found myself enjoying the book until I finished it.
