Theirs to Rule. Theirs to Share. After she uncovers evidence of a treasonous conspiracy by the most powerful man on Earth, Jada Rivers ends up framed for a terrible crime, shipped off to a detention facility in deep space, and kept in solitary confinement until she can be sold as a bride. But the men who purchase her are no ordinary aliens. They are dragons, the kings of Draegira, and she will be … Draegira, and she will be their shared mate.
Bruddis and Draego are captivated by Jada, but before she can become their queen the beautiful, feisty little human will need to be publicly claimed, thoroughly trained, and put to the test in the most shameful manner imaginable. If she will not yield her body and her heart to them completely, the fire in their blood will burn out of control until it destroys the brotherly bond between them, putting their entire world at risk of a cataclysmic war.
Though Jada is shocked by the demands of her dragon kings, she is left helplessly aroused by their stern dominance. With her virgin body quivering with need, she cannot bring herself to resist as they take her hard and savagely in any way they please. But can she endure the trials before her and claim her place at their side, or will her stubborn defiance bring Draegira to ruin?
Publisher’s Note: Mated to the Dragons is a stand-alone novel which is the fifth book in the Captive Brides series. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Book #5, Captive Brides series. DRAGONS! What more do you need to know!?
How’d she end up here? Jada Rivers still can’t believe it! In a future with where corruption rules, her only crime is trying to reveal that corruption. But after the murder of an innocent, a mock trial, faked DNA testing labeling her as an illegal third child, she’s shipped to the detention center at the end of the solar system. Even the warden and guards at the center believe she’s guilty. Kept isolated and alone, Warden Taylor finally sends for her. Jada’s been sold, now a bride to be sent to faraway Draegira. She knows nothing beyond that. After being drugged and transported, she awakens to what has to be a hallucination. It’s the drugs, right? She’s in an arena, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people, lashed to a pole, approached by two men. Terrified? Oh, no. She’s so far beyond that! She soon learns her imagination could never have dreamed up such a nightmare. A public claiming, followed by forced submission, she’s horrified. Is this truly her future? Bruddis and Draego are twins, princes of Draegira, dragon shifters, destined to be co-rulers. After her very public humiliation, she learns she’s to be their wife…IF she can pass the trials. Trials? What trials? Why? And if she can’t pass them? What happens then? There are no answers, only more questions. Just as Jada gains a thread of hope, she learns exactly what’s at stake if she’s not the princes’ fated mate. The very destiny of Draegira hangs in the balance. And then forces no one could have foreseen intervene. Can anyone say “out of the frying pan, into the fire?” Disaster seems inevitable. Does Jada have the strength to push beyond past injustice and trust the dragon princes? Can Draego and Bruddis fight not only their own natures but the outside forces that threaten? Is there enough trust and faith in the entire universe to make Jada believe again? There’s only one answer. The question is, can the three find it in time to save themselves and the very existence of Draegira?
This story took me by complete surprise. I’ve loved every book in this series. But Jada is unlike any other heroine in this series. She makes this story entirely unique. For her, faith and belief ended the moment she was framed and shipped off to another world. And Bruddis and Draego? Dominant in the extreme, competitive to their own detriment, with the power to ravage everything around them, these two are not to be trifled with. They have one chance to save their world, and that’s the driving force behind this entire story. While fate may have pushed these three together, there’s no hint of destiny providing a happily ever after. The stars seem aligned against them in every way. And this is where Sara Fields shines! This story is all about the uncertainty, the real risk that everything’s at stake in every way. Is there undeniable attraction between the three? Of course. But is their road easy? Absolutely not! Is success and a happy ending a foregone conclusion? Not in any way. Ms. Fields excels at weaving complicated relationships, elements of dominance and submission, and futuristic sci-fi with erotic romance into a suspenseful tapestry that will leave you wanting far more. Jada, Bruddis, and Draego often seem to literally tear each other apart. At other times, they seem to be almost preternaturally in tune with each other. Their connection is both heartrending and magical. This series was already excellent. But this fifth book is unparalleled! Mated to the Dragons deserves far more than five stars. Kudos, Ms. Fields! This is by far the best book in an already outstanding series!
One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won’t enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all Amazon. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to the book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
Jada is falsly accused of a crime she did not commit but is sentenced to be a mate
to 2 dragon shifters that are about to take the throne, but only if their mate can pass the test of the three trials, to submit, her mind and heart. Her very first experience is the sacred mating ceremony where she is claimed by both Draego and Bruddis together at the same time. Having been her president’s PA and finding and exposing his cheating during his election, she was accused of murdering the person she gave the proof of the president’s cheating to. President Ramsey is now after Jada to help clear him of her accusations by kidnapping and threatening her parent’s lives.
There is much action, disciplining, hot sex and lots of dragons in flight and fights.
I really enjoyed this story of Jada, a human with her mates that are dragon shifters.
I also appreciate an ending where all are safe and live happily ever after
I really enjoyed this Captive Brides book, it sucked me in from the start, and left me looking for more. It was incredibly hot and steamy with a BDSM theme, and compelling story. I will definately be looking at the rest of the series.
This is the 5th book in the series. Jada is a human who was frame for a crime and sent to a detention facility until she is sold to alien dragons. One dragon is more lovey-dovey and the other is more hard ass pushes her to the dark side sexually. A DEFINITE READ!!
First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
OMG!!! This story is awesome. My heart broke for how Jade was treated by the low life president. Then she’s sold as a bride to not one, but two men who turn into dragons, and are also princes. The 3 trials she has to go thru were good too. There’s strong BDSM in this story, but that’s ok for me, I like it. 🙂 This story has a lot going on and a gr8 storyline. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
Holy smoking hot Batman! This book is steamy! You may need a cold shower after reading this! The heat level of this book is through the roof. I’m not sure if that’s a warning, don’t take it as one. My goodness, this book has so much deliciously hot sex that leaves you begging for more! Jada is my girl. She’s strong, resilient, and smart. She is also convicted on Earth of a murder she didn’t commit. After being sent away to another planet which is a prison and a school. A school to help you learn about other species so you can become their bride. This is where we meet the deliciously sexy brothers, Draego and Bruddis. Princes, dragons, Masters. A whole lot of yum. They buy Jada and take her through a sexual journey she didn’t know she wanted.
Sex is the front runner of this book, there is a storyline but it’s pushed back a bit in the beginning. Once we reach a point where we are enjoying the sexcapades we are slapped with Jada’s past. I enjoyed this story a lot, and enjoyed Jada’s relationship with her two hot dragons. Draego and Bruddis come off as mean at first but you see why and fall in love with them very quickly. Great book packed with action and love. I will be following Sara Fields more closely now and grabbing her books every release day!
Oh yeah I love Dragon books Jada was a great leading lady and her 2 Dragon mates are hot and protective off there mate to this book was a treat to read I enjoyed every minute of this book can’t wait to read more. I voluntarily review this book for my honest opinion.
Ménage and dragons?? Freaking awesome!
Fire and ice are lethal. Separately both can destroy whatever they touch. Combine, they are unstoppable. However, the only way for fire and ice to coexist is with a buffer … and that is what the dragon princes of Draegira are trying to find. Their mate. Without her, destruction could befall their world and them. Enter Jada from Earth. Convicted of a crime she didn’t commit, sold to the brothers as their potential mate. Will she allow herself to feel for the brothers? Will she pass the necessary tests to stay by their sides? Will her past come back to haunt her?? Read and find out!
MATED TO THE DRAGONS was definitely a freaking hot as hades read. Very dominant driven for the men and sexually submissive for the women, but it actually worked with the world that the author built of Draegira. Both Bruddis and Draego definitely fit the dominant mold! Possessive and passionate, they light up the pages when they are with Jada. Jada is an interesting character as well. She is thrown down the rabbit hole with her introduction to Draegira and her men. She follows her instincts throughout the story and lead her to a path of discovery and strength.
All in all, a really nice book. There is chemistry between the characters and story is not wholly focused on what the triad need to do to stay together. There is danger in the pages and also a deep and abiding love that I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

It took me a little time to get into this story, but I think that is because we’re thrown into Jada’s story part way through. We meet her JUST before she meets Draego and Bruddis, in quite unusual and (at this point) not very clearly explained circumstances.
However once we (quickly) got into the story, the trials and then subsequent events I found myself totally immersed in the book. I liked all three characters, Jada felt very ‘normal’ and believable, whilst Draego and Bruddis, whilst both alpha males, had very complimentary personalities. One offering comfort whilst the other pushed Jada into the dark places she was too scared to explore.
You definitely need to be a fan of both spanking and dubious consent to fully enjoy this book. However it doesn’t rely on lots of sex to fill it’s pages. Instead we have a pretty decent two part story line. The first is based on Jada’s suitablity, or not, to be their queen and the second is on putting to rights her past. Both parts were very well written and entertaining. The writing is good and I found the story easy to follow, with a pace that held my attention throughout.
Jada is a human from earth who is accused and sentenced for a crime she didn’t commit. She is sent to the prison that prepares women to submit to alien husbands, where she is sold to a pair of brothers.
Bruddis and Draego need a warrior wife to be their queen. As they got stronger in power, the current king, their father got weaker. He is very close to death so they purchased a human women. They have to share a wife before the kings death to prevent a catastrophe from happening.
Jada must go through some trials in order to be truly considered as queen. The past also comes back to haunt her.
This book has everything I enjoy, adventure, aliens, dragons, menage and BDSM including spankings and anal play, as well as a HEA. If all of these things appeal to you, then I urge you to pick up this book.
This is more of a 4.75*.
I have been down for every one of Sara Fields’ Captive Bride books, so when there was a new one? And it had dragons? I knew that I was going to have to read the heck out of it. And so I did.
In this particular ‘verse, Earth has limited how many children any one family can have. They can only have two children and third children will be sent away from Earth. In the case of women, they are sent to a facility to be trained as brides for aliens. However, that’s not exactly what happened here.
Jada has always been a good girl. She’s done everything she can to follow all the rules and make her parents proud of her. She even got a job working for the president. But, when she found the dirt on the president and tried to do the right thing, it turned around and bit her right on her booty. She ended up being convicted of a crime she didn’t commit and being falsely reported as a third child. When she gets sent to the training facility, she’s kept apart from all the other young women because of her crimes.
Bruddis and Draego are the princes of Draegira. Because of who they are, their bloodlines, and the way that their world works, they have to share a wife. Not only that, but she has to be the fated wife for them, which means that she has to pass some tests. When they need to find a wife in a hurry, they don’t have time for all the royal pomp and circumstance, so they short-circuit everything and just order a bride from Earth instead. And up shows Jada, who appears to be perfect for them. Both brothers are terribly attracted to her and she is drawn to them. But, can she pass all the tests and make sure that her past doesn’t get in their way?
All of these books have a dark tint, but I think that this one is the darkest one so far. One of the reasons I think this is because of what Jada has to go through, not necessarily what she goes through with Bruddis and Draego, though. That’s all pretty hot. Gives here kitty a whole new meaning. I think the three of them are perfect for each other, which is a good thing, right? There was one point where the big bad dragons made me mad and made me wish I had a rolled up newspaper to smack them on their snouts. Of course, I may have ended up melted or frozen because of that.
