For future reference: never sleep with a hexed werewolf.
Especially when it is your hex and he’s six foot plus of tempting, gorgeous muscle that will land you in trouble. You see, in my world, a witch and a shifter are forbidden to mate. No matter how sinfully perfect his mouth—and hands—are on me.So, when I hex the local alpha shifter with a love position and push our already combustible lust … a love position and push our already combustible lust for one another over the edge… let’s just say it spells disaster for yours truly.
It doesn’t matter if the hexing was an accident because the man prowling my way has one thought on his mind. Taking me as his mate and claiming me for something much longer than a one-night stand.
Magic is a bitch that’s about to bite me. And you know what? I just might like it.
Author’s Naughty Note: Mated by the Alpha is a friends-to-lovers, small town alpha shifter romance tale of magic and mischief. Wicked and delicious is how this one is going down right along with the Halloween candy! We’re talking slightly over-the-top, forbidden romance with a touch of insta-love that’s extra dirty and sweet. If that’s your jam, you’re going to love this one! As always this is safe with a HEA & NO CHEATING!

The magic of love
This is such a quick intense book that hits all those sweet spots we expect from a romance novel. Gorgeous alpha male – check, his perfect mate – check, emotional angst – check, the perfect HEA – check. I think the author did a fantastic job of creating this hard hitting book that we just couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.
Whoa! Was this hot and dirty and quick that it will leave you needing relief. Love the magic and shifter aspect and mating together. I also love the different bonding that was explored in this story. I only wish there was an epilogue for Aiden and Sadie

Fated Mates finally rock their worlds
Mated by the Alpha is a really fun and entertaining story by Penelope Wylde. It is about Sadie and Aidan.
Sadie is a young woman who is a witch. When she inherited a tavern, The Cauldron Bubble, she moved to the small town of Sleepy Briar in Maine and and took over the running of it. There is a small apartment upstairs that she lives in and she is happy. But the tavern is not quite making enough money, even with brewing her own Moon Brew that the shifters liked, so she has to do some side business of magic including making potions.
Aidan is the Alpha and leader of the local werewolf clan. He is sexy as all hell – tall, dark, muscles upon muscles, dark glowing eyes and a smile to make you drop your panties.
Sadie and Aidan have been playing a game of “will they or won’t they” for the last month or so. They are both wildly attracted to each other but have also become good friends. There was one night with an earth shattering, soul soaring, body on fire kiss but then Aidan left. His excuse was that there was “pack business” but she did not buy it and felt not only “wet and wanting” but rejected. But there is also the fact that the Silver Circle has rules and witches mating with anyone other than their own is not allowed.
One night however there is a mix-up and Aidan is served a love potion instead of Moon Brew. He takes all three doses in one shot before Sadie can stop him. Then all bets are off and she is running to try and find the reversal with Aidan hot on her little tale ready to really rock her world.
This is a very hot and steamy shifter fated-mate story that is a great story. The story-line is interesting and the characters are well developed, even if the story is very fast-paced and short. As usual Penelope Wylde has written a great story.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Exceptional! This is an absolutely compelling read that is well written and enjoyable. It is engaging, funny, fast pace, steamy, and passionate. Little magic, fated mates, and erotic claiming and bonding scenes will leave you looking forward to the next book. Definitely recommended!
