Crisis inside the shifter community builds unrest. While the alpha bear searches for a traitor he’s losing control. Can an outsider be the solution he really needs? There’s a traitor inside the shifter community and Cronin needs to find out who it is. He’s always had issues controlling his animal, but now he worries he’s on the verge of becoming feral. If he can’t get command of his power, he’ll … his power, he’ll be in grave danger and so will the shifter community.
Alice has a deep-seated dislike of shifters. She’s gotten good at pushing the feelings aside but when she meets Cronin she’s reminded of the events that shaped her opinions. But he needs someone to listen and she’s sure she can at least do that.
Feelings beyond their professional relationship come from out of the blue. As the hunt for the traitor intensifies, it’s clear they’re on different sides of the issue. There’s no way they can be together if their life and goals are polar opposite.
But is there a chance love can overcome such differences? Is it possible they’re more alike than they realize?

Cronin, bear shifter Protector, is worried to lose control to his inner bear and is seeking council. His therapist is Alice, and just being with her balances him better. They both get closer to each other, but Cronin is worried about a spy for AntiiClaw in the shifter community. When he observes Alice’s uncle, a turned shifter, to pass messages to AntiClaw, he has to proof that and protect his team mates.
Like the other stories of the Full Moon Protectors there is a conflict with AntiClaw which leads to extra suspense. Here in this book the lines blur, and prejudice and misconceptions need to be addressed.
Entertaining and enjoyable to read.

Another great read in Full Moon Protector series and while each book can be read as a stand alone there is an underlying story throughout the series Do yourself a favour and read them all
This is Cronin and Alice’s story He is suffering from all that the protectors have gone through and it is suggested that he talk to someone about it and Alice is the therapist he is sent to, and he is surprised at how much she calms his bear. Alice has her own issues she doesn’t trust shifters after an incident in her past. But these two connect with one another and feelings start to grow Can she get over her fear and can they have a future together

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the next book in the Full Moon Protector series. It is Cronin and Alice’s story. He is having a hard time and it’s suggested that he go talk to someone about everything that is building up inside him. Alice is the therapist that he has an appointment with. Funny how his bear seems to be calmed by her. She has had a history with shifters that was not good. This book has good storyline and characters. I recommend reading this whole series. I look forward to the next book.

Cronin is having problems with control then he encounters Alice.
Bear shifter Cronin is a Protector but is finding it harder to keep control of himself and knows he needs help then he has an appointment arranged by an older female with a therapist. Alice is getting worn down with her work for the Oregon Department of Human and Child Services and is trying to start her own practice as a therapist and when a colleague arranges a client she is surprised to fine herself facing a huge bear shifter. Alice is wary of shifters as when she was young her uncle had been turned into a shifter and what happened in her family afterwards causes unease. After talking to her Cronin finds himself much calmer over the next week.

Alice has a good heart and wants to help people. That’s her strong suit. She travels a road not many would want to and by the end of this book, you see she earned her HEA.
