Until next time… Happy Reading!
I absolutely love all of her books.
An imaginative alien world !
Just when you think a series can not get any better, Grace Goodwin does it again. Loved this story. Miranda is an earth who followed her friend into space to help care for her son. She had herself a nice arrangement with a Trion Doctor named Brax. Best sex of her life and he gave her exactly what she wanted and needed when he was there. He went on missions for weeks and left her by herself. Miranda needed more, she needed love returned and a male that would put her first. Enter the bride program and a perfect match. A prillon warrior named Trist. He was everything she wanted and needed now, but as in Trion tradition he needed a second. Two males one female, set tp protect the female should something happen to one of her mates. Trouble and a bit of fun when Brax realizes what he lost and wants it back. Great story, hot sexy times, a battle with the hive, and an amazing scene where children steal the show. Great HEA. Can not wait for more.
This is the 16th book of the Interstellar Brides series, and they keep getting better and better. I enjoyed reading this story because Grace is an outstanding author. She knows how to right a good story line and create characters that jump off the pages. She gets you to engage all your emotions when reading her stories. You feel sad, neglected, over looked, unappreciated, unloved, and boring to protected, desired, beautiful, fulfilled, excited, adventurous, cherished, the full gommet. I like that this series is about more than just humans and one type of aliens. In this series, when you apply to Interstellar Brides, they find you your perfect match, whether you realize it or not. It could be with one mate or three mates. It could be with a very domineering mate to one that makes you feel safe and desired. I liked that this story has more than one type of alien, even though they are allies, that they can work together to give the human what she needs and wants.
On Earth, Miranda was married to a man who didn’t understand her. He made her desires seem like that are the work of the devil and she is a devient person to want such a thing. So when her best friend, Natalie (Her Mate’s Secret Baby (Interstellar Brides® Book 9)) goes into outter space to be with her mate, she goes too. There she has a friends with benefits with Brax who helps her to heal from her husband’s abuse. He understands what she wants and easily gives her what she needs, with the exception when she has feelings and wants to be more than FWB. He not only is a doctor, he is also a secret agent so he can be gone for weeks at a time and can’t tell her about them. When he tells her that he won’t take a mate while he works for the ‘company’, and when he is back for a couple days and then leaves again without contacting her, she knows it is time to move on. She signs up for Interstellar Brides and she is matched right away. She is sent to a warship to a Prillon warrior who makes her feel safe and cherished. He puts her first and that helps to heal her heart.
Brax is a Trion, not only a doctor, but he is a secret agent who can infultrate areas that other agents can’t because of being a doctor. He has been enjoying a friends with benfits relationship with Miranda, but he has always felt that as long as he is a secret agent, he can’t have a serious relationship. He knows he has feelings for Miranda, but until he is out of the agency, he can’t commit. The last time he was with her, he had temporary ‘adornments’ that he told her that she will look beautiful in adornments for her mate, which made her feel like he didn’t want her as a mate. He hadn’t told her how he really feels and when he came back for a couple days and went back in the field to finish, it was to give his notice so he could claim Miranda. But he was too late. When he came home for her, she was half a galaxy away on a warship with her new Prillion mates. Prillion mate with two males and one female.
Tryst is a very high level Prillion warrior. He is second in command to a group of warships. He signed up for Interstellar Brides five years ago and hadn’t been mated so when his second, the second male in a mated set, was asked to be second in another group, he allowed him to go. When Miranda showed up, he was a goner. One of the first things that concerned him was that he didn’t have a second. The purpose of the second was to ensure that the female, and any children they have, will have extra protection and in case the primary mate dies in battle, she still has someone to protect the family. One of the great things with the Prillion when mating is that they have collars, not like a dog collar, like a cloth collar that floats and almost merges with the skin, but they help you to feel what your mate(s) are feeling. There are no lies between mates because you can feel each others emotions, good or bad. When Tryst feels Miranda’s hurt feelings, he tries to make it better for her. He puts her first, even above the warships that he is responsible for. That makes her feel good, that she has importance for a change. When Brax shows up to try to claim Miranda, they fight, but when she tries to break it up, Tryst realizes that for him to hurt Brax, it hurts her and that she is still in love with Brax. He agrees with Brax that neither of them are good enough for her, but Tryst is her mate and if Brax wants to be the second, he has to earn/proof that he is good enough.

Wow!! This story has you thinking, wondering, and questioning throughout because it is filled with suspense, mystery and you are in doubt about the ending! Matched and Mated is Book 16 in this well written SciFi series Interstellar Brides and tells its own intriguing story! The readers have always understood that the Interstellar Brides Program matches Alien warriors to an Earth female with close to a 99% compatibility potential. In this story, you entertain doubts about the process and validity of the results of the program.
Miranda, Brax and Trist are our main characters in this tangled web, woven by our talented and creative author Grace Goodwin. Miranda has been disappointed with her past relationships, is a divorcee living on the planet Trion with her friend Natalie, mate and their child. Doctor Valck Brax is a Trion native who has a “friends with benefits” relationship with Miranda. In addition, Brax is a secret agent, who goes on dangerous missions so he doesn’t believe he can subject a wife to this life. Miranda begins to overcome her fears and develops strong feelings for Brax. Yes, they love one another but neither one will express it. When, he returns from his last mission, he doesn’t reach out to her, she becomes discouraged and signs up for the Interstellar Brides Program. She is matched to a Prillon warrior, Captain Trist Treval, who agrees that she is “Mine!” Ummm, seems like a HEA is going to happen…….until Brax goes looking for Miranda, learns that she has been matched and is no longer on Trion. He immediately transports to the Battleship where Trist is the Captain and he searches for Miranda! The suspense and intrigue builds – Trist is a Prillon, who will share his mate with a second, (Prillons’ mate in pairs but Trist doesn’t have one, and is searching the Prillon warriors to find his second), Brax is a Trion that expects to adorn his mate and live on Trion, and all Miranda wants is to feel loved and cared for and has feelings for both of them. Can a solution be reached that will be acceptable to all of them? Will the Interstellar Bride program continue to uphold its reputation?
Book 16 does not disappoint. The story is packed with mystery, HOT, steamy Alpha men, BDSM elements, fast paced, danger and lots of twists and turns.
The character development was fascinating and you definitely do NOT know what is going to happen next!
I just loved this book and really hated to see it end. I stayed up really late so I could finish it. Her friend was matched to a hot alien and she was dating a hot alien doctor but it was benefits only. No relationship. So she goes and has herself matched and leaves before the doctor can tell her he has resigned and wants a lasting relationship. She goes to meet her match and he is a hot alpha alien on a battleship. The hive figures in here. But the doctor follows. Now comes all the twists and turns and what is going to happen between the three of them. Hot and steamy, exciting, emotional, intense, surprising and much more. I review this copy I received from booksprout.
I love these stories and the unique characters. I can’t wait until each book comes out. Grace makes you believe in a make believe world.
A short quick story to read that is well written with a great storyline with so much depth to it. A book I was not putting down until I finished reading. This is book sixteen in the Interstellar Brides Program series. Miranda Doyle has finally had enough Doctor Valck Brax a Trion doctor has not told her yet that he loves her. When he gets home he finds he gone she has been matched to Captain Trist Treval of Battlegroup Zakar through the Interstellar Brides Program. But Brax will not give her up! Their story is one of suspense, drama, danger, the Hive, twists, turns, and two men in love with the same woman . I know when this series is finished I will be reading them all again. I recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
In Match and Mated, Miranda finally gets her turn after watching Nathalie and Roark fall in love.
Miranda’s still reeling from her divorce. She was left feeling lonely and unwanted—and that she wasn’t passionate enough to “satisfy” her husband. She knows she deserves more—that she needs more—than what she had in both her marriage and her current “no strings” relationship with her Dom, Brax. With Brax, she wants more—she wants a real relationship, a mate. But Brax isn’t ready to give up his life as an IC agent, yet.
Trist entered into the match program when it was first available many years ago—and now he’s finally been matched. To Miranda! As a Prillon warrior, he and his second are to claim Miranda as their shared mate. But there’s a problem—Trist doesn’t have a second anymore. He never thought he’d actually be matched after such a long time.
Brax is ready at last to claim Miranda as his own. Completing his last mission and submitting his final report to the EC were all that stood in the way of his future with Miranda. Or so he thought.
Now battling for their futures, Trist, Miranda and Brax need to figure out just how things are going to work. Trist provides the love and attention and comfort Miranda desires, and Brax brings out the submissive side of her.
I really liked how Miranda, Trist and Brax came together in the end. That they each brought so much to the relationship. And that they could work it out for the best of everyone and everything. I love this fantastic, sexy AF sci-fi romance series and can’t wait for more!
I really enjoyed reading this entertaining Sci-Fi interstellar bride romance & found the story-line & plot well-written & intriguing. The characters are well-developed & delightfully interesting with a variety of traits and different sides to their individual personalities. There are some character crossovers from previous books to make this romance more interesting & it is standalone.
There is: a lonely divorced woman (Miranda) has a casual affair arrangement with a high ranking Ttion alien doctor (Valck Brax) whenever he was home but decides to apply for the interstellar brides program & is matched to a Prillon warrior (Captain Trist Treval), various kinds of aliens, evil aliens (The Hive), friendship, twists & turns, intrigue, drama, adventure, action, secrets, domination/submission, mild BDSM, some mystery, memories, attractions, loneliness, misunderstandings, heartache, emotional turmoil, decisions, determination, confrontation, compromises, unexpected invasion, conflict, protectiveness, contentment, love, happiness, steamy scenes & a satisfying, highly humorous epilogue. I would recommend this Sci-Fi romance.
This is a wonderful addition to this series. I love the way its written and the characters are so well developed you feel like you could know them!! It is sexy, loving and has an interesting plot – loved it!
Highly recommended!
God, I love this series, and I think this is the best one so far.
Miranda is a great character that is strong and knows what she wants, now. She has a horrible past that started on Earth and is now finding her voice when it comes to her sexuality and being a woman. When she finally finds someone she wants to start a relationship he ends up being the man she is already in a ‘friends-with-benefits’ relationship with.
Brax is the man she is already in a relationship with. But he is a military man and is not good with emotions. Until he comes home and finds Miranda gone, he is bound and determined to find her and claim her. But it might be a little late since someone has already claimed her and she is not complaining.
Tryst is the mate Miranda is found to be compatible with, and she is sent to him. These two are so beautiful together. Tryst literally gives her everything she could ever want and then some. He is the perfect mate for Miranda, but deep down, she feels the need for someone or something else in the bedroom. When Brax shows up on Tryst’s ship to claim Miranda he has more to deal with than just Miranda’s heart he also has Tryst to deal with.
I loved this book, and it is a must-read!
Grace has done it again. I love this book. This book was a change and different from all the other ones. Don’t get me wrong submissive is submissive. But for this one you have a woman who was broken by a husband from one of the previous books who didn’t understand or appreciate her. In comes and alien who is not really to mate and as she made arrangements of being friends with benefits. But once those needs are met and she has come into herself understanding, needs and wants; what is she to do? This book questions and answers the heroines didn’t verbalize appropriately to the man she wanted. That phrase “you never a good thing til it’s gone” comes to mind. So now it’s a fight to get what she wants and to except what she can’t have or can she? This book and a few twists, a good fight scene, Several steamy scenes that you might want to reread and definitely an HEA.

This story introduces a new twist to the Interstellar Bride Program.
It seems the program is not always as unfailing as believed! How can a perfect match leave at least one broken heart behind?
Well, it can! If… no, no!
Read and find out. It’s worth it!
This is a great addition to the series and I absolutely loved it. Miranda becomes an interstellar bride after Brax states he has no time to take a mate and goes on another secret mission. She is matched to Trist, who is a Prillon warrior and Captain, and for the first time she feels totally safe, cherished and loved. Brax realizes his mistake and then his work really starts where he has to prove himself both to Miranda and Trist. The book contains references to the Hive and a few encounters are noted. The Hive plays a part in this series, and piece by piece you learn more about it. This makes for a great read and the sexual interaction between Miranda and her men is crazy hot. I would highly recommend this book and the entire series as a great read because Goodwin does not disappoint with her exceptional writing. She draws you in and doesn’t let go until the very end and then you wish the next book was available.
great read
A very unique bride matching and a very interesting mating. This story is different from the others in a fabulous way. This author really knows how to keep things fresh and new. There were many places that made me smile and laugh. A wonderful ending.
Matched and Mated is the sixteenth book in the Interstellar Brides series, but can be read as a stand alone. Miranda has been living on Trion with her best friend for the past two years. Initially thought broken, Brax, her lover, has helped her see otherwise. Now her heart yearns for more, for total surrender, for love, but Brax has said nothing about claiming her. When she decides to become an Interstellar Bride and is matched to Trist, a Prillon, will Miranda find everything she’s been looking for?
Oh my goodness – this is definitely a series that I can’t think can get any better, but I’m constantly blown away! I loved this book! Miranda, Brax, and Trist will take your emotions on a ride and you can’t help but feel compassion for Miranda and her situation. Miranda needs someone who is dominant, will make all decisions, who will shower her with love and attention, as she’s been hurt too badly from her past. While in the beginning, I wished she would have spoken up, I know that just part of her personality that I can relate to, since I’m not sure I’d be able to as well. I loved that we get to see three different cultures clash, as some things are lost in translation and Trion and Prillon males cherish their women in different ways, too! Trist is definitely a new book boyfriend I’ve fallen for, but Brax definitely grows a lot in this book, too. This was such an engaging storyline that I was completely glued to. I loved the love triangle, I loved the bit of action we got, and most of all, I loved the romance and passion and healing! Fabulous book and a fantastic addition to the series!
