The Trion, The Prillion & The Earth Girl
Professionally written, fast-paced and engaging “Matched & Mated” the 16th entry in the “Interstellar Brides” series completely diverges from the customary mate matching format, incorporating a supplementary mode for an earth bride/alien(s) match. With likeable and well-developed characters, “Matched & Mated” will elicit a full range of emotions with unforeseen twists, ample drama and plenty of scorching heat. Series enthusiasts will delight in appearances by previous characters and relish the hints provided for potential upcoming characters. Although the 16th book in a series, “Matched & Mated” is a standalone novel, conveyed through dual (+) POV and culminates with an appropriate ending for the current narrative as the overarching story-line continues.

Miranda has been flying high in space for the past two years and for the last six months it’s been in the dominant arms of Brax – a high ranking doctor and diplomat. But because of his dangerous job, he doesn’t want to become the mate of such a beautiful woman like Miranda. But as usual wires become crossed and Miranda has fallen in love with him but doesn’t tell him and he thinks she’s only after his body (well, aren’t all good women looking for Mr. Sexy to de-bone ??) *wink wink.* So she’s decides to get matched to a mate and finds Trist and he makes sure she knows how she owns his heart – right away. The catch, Brax is now wanting his mate and even though she’s already given her heart to Trist, he hunts her down on the battleship she been relocated to. Now, not only does Miranda have one but two males to take down. And BOY, does she ever !!! If you’re into soft sci-fi with a little hanky panky thrown in, this one is definately meant for your bookshelfs. Thank You again Ms. Grace.
This is the best book of the series IMO! With the series on it’s 16 book I was wondering how the author was going to make it unique and she far exceeded my expectations. Miranda divorces her ex and follows Natalie and her son Noah to Trion, but the ex did a number on her psyche. She meets Brax and they carry on a no strings attached arrangement until one day Miranda wants more. Instead of taking to Brax she and to a lesser extent Natalie decide to enroll Miranda into the Interstellar Bride program where she is matched to a Prillon Commander named Trist. Brax and Trist try to compete for Miranda’s affection but Brax lost the right when he picked his job over her. She just wants to be put first and Trist does this. Will she choose Trist or Brax in the end? Which will make her happier? I can’t wait for the next installment of this series! I highly recommend this book!!
I love this series! This book, like the whole series, was a highly entertaining and sexy read that I couldn’t stop reading! I loved Trion, Brax and Miranda! They made an interesting trio! The chemistry between the characters was explosive! Although their relationship was different then most they made it work! I’m excited to see what Grace has in store for the Interstellar Brides series!
I love this series! And I love that this book brought different aliens together.
Miranda has been trying to heal from her ex husband making her feel sexually deviant. Which she isn’t. Brax has helped her heal up to a point. She wants more from him then they originally agreed on. And Brax is starting to want the same. But he doesn’t tell Miranda soon enough. This leads to Miranda being tired of wanting what she thinks is impossible and signing up for the brides program. She ends up being matched to a prillion alien, Trist. Who is also the second in command of his fleet. Trust is everything Miranda needs emotionally, but will he be ok with what she needs physically? And what happens when Brax finally figures out what she has done and decides to follow her and bring her back to Trion?
This was so great. I loved how the author ended the book as well.
I thought that this was a very entertaining read. The story is juicy and emotional. filled with drama, twists and raw feelings. I liked all three characters. Miranda, Brax and Trist’s story is complex. I loved that Miranda knew what she wanted and wasn’t going to settle. I felt for Brax. He made a foolish and all too common mistake and it almost cost him everything. Trist was all things swoon worthy and a real keeper. This book offered a new twist in this series and I thought it worked quite well.
I totally loved this new twisty book! We are thrust back into space aboard the Battleship Zakar which means continued Hive involvement. I love reading about new updates on what is happening with the war and this book gives us a great romance and some action. Trist, Brax, and Miranda are brought together in one heck of a tangled web. Trist is a Prillon that expects to share his mate with a second, Brax is a Trion that expects to adorn his mate and live on Trion, and all Miranda wants is to come first and feel loved and cared for.
The story is fairly fast paced but once the action started, I really could not put the book down. Grace has once again ripped my heart out by giving us another Atlan (they’re my favorites and I can’t read about them without hoping that every single one gets a mate).
Now I have to sit back and wait for the next book ( I really wish I did not read that fast). Grace keep them coming and I will keep on purchasing them!
I have read this series since the publishing of book 2 and I can honestly say that this series gets better and better. I love all the different facets that have been brought into the Interstellar Bride Universe – the main Interstellar Bride series, the Colony (personal favorites – all of those POWs that were contaminated need their mates), the Rogue 5, the Everian virgins, and the Ascension Saga.
