This was an interesting story premise and made for an interesting story. This book, and the rest of this series, is about a military matchmaking program. Inara and Tony are matched but, having met before, don’t think they are a match that’s going to work. Tony doesn’t so relationships because of his heartache from losing his mom, but he’s training to get into Officer Candidate School and thinks this will help with that. Inara wants a husband and family but because of her relationship history and her mother’s frequent divorces, she doesn’t trust her taste in men.
I liked these two together. I enjoyed reading a out their relationship and experience them develop deeper feeling. There are some very steamy scenes in this book that are well written. It’s not a smooth journey for these two because of past issues that neither have properly dealt with. There is a strain on their marriage and things fall apart pretty spectacularly. Read their story to find out if they will find their HEA.

When Tony signs up for the military’s spouse matching program, he doesn’t expect to get paired with a woman who already rejected him. Tony has never been a quitter though, and now that his future with Officer Candidate School is being threatened by his CO, he’s more determined than ever to survive being married to Inara for a year. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she’s beautiful, sexy, and mind-blowingly amazing. Inara has her own reasons for signing up for the program, but everything she ever thought she wanted contrasts with the man that science has paired her with. Inara wanted to make this marriage last for the rest of her life – once and done for her unlike several of her mother’s failed marriages. Tony makes it downright hard, and with both unwilling to budge on the secrets and truths they keep close to them, their marriage lasting even a month is questionable. But against all odds, Tony and Inara fall into a pattern and grow comfortable with each other, which eventually turns to love. Just when everything seems to be falling in line and Tony and Inara realize they may be in this for good, someone oversteps the unspoken boundaries, and a blowup in front of Tony’s CO leaves Tony’s career in the toilet and their relationship devastated, perhaps, beyond repair.
I really enjoyed the characters of Tony and Inara, despite Tony being a bit of a jerk near the end of the book (hello, conflict). They were both funny and amazing in their own ways. And the dynamic that developed between the two worked really well with naturally furthering their romance without it coming across as unnatural or rushed. Of course, they are already married, but that’s beside the point. The fact that Inara was more experienced than Tony in the bedroom was also hysterical, considering how much game he always talks with the women and flirting with basically anything that moves. The traumas that exist in both Tony and Inara were also really well done and seemingly brought them together and made them better partners. They struggled to work through their issues, but in the end, they were able to accept themselves and who they were and get their happily ever after. The plotline of the arranged marriages based on compatibility by the military was also pretty original and I think it made the book a lot more interesting to read since Tony and Inara originally thought they didn’t match together very well.
If you enjoy strong couples, military men, or arranged marriages, you’ll enjoy this book. And even if you don’t, the romance between Tony and Inara was great and their interactions with side characters were always funny.

Tony wants to go into the OCS, Officers Candidate School so he enters into the IPP, Issued Partners Program with is CO’s, Commanding Officer, blessing. They match him with a Inara a women who he flirted with and was shot down. So when they realize who they were married to it was tough, but his CO told him he had to make it work. When neither wanted the other but Inara wants a marriage and children she puts some effort into the marriage and they learn things about each other. She thought he was a big flirt and ladies man, but she was more experienced than him. I thought it was a good story and some of the concept were out there, but they might work. The characters you grew to love and wanted them to succeed. Great book. I enjoyed the story.

Matched for marriage with a navy SEAL was going to be the new life for Inara. She had signed up for the military Issued Partner Program and she was assigned Anthony Martinez. She knew Tony as he was on the same team as her best friend, Taya’s husband, Jim. Inara and Tony had never gotten along particularly well in the past, but Tony had to follow through with his commitment to stay in the military, plus stand a chance to get into Officer Candidate School. Inara had her own reasons for signing up. They decided, they were ready for this adventure, and they were more compatible than they first believed especially sexually, but Inara wanted to be sure their foundation was stronger than sex. They faced many challenges in the beginning, some major and some small, there was one that almost wrecked everything. You will feel every emotion as you read this book, but you will be unable to put it down until you finish.

Wow is all I can say. Tony’s ego is massive and it cracks me up at how cocky he can be but I love how Inara counters him. Together, they have such great chemistry. Parts of this book are quite emotional and other parts make me laugh. This was a fun and entertaining novel.

I have to say when I picked this book to read it was from the blurb because I have 5 brothers all in the military and all who married and most on more than one wife. I thought wow what a novel concept. I bet this would work, especially for those who are stationed overseas like two of my siblings were for many long stunts. One divorced in the middle of one. I enjoyed this book but several times I found myself stopping and asking my husband to translate phrases. Of course, I am married to a Mexican American who was happy to do so for me. Tony is a Navy Seal who wants to move up and knows being married will help that happen faster. Taya is a hostess at a restaurant bar Shaken and Stirred and she is a volunteer search and rescue personnel. She signs up after her best friend is matched up and it works out. So she followed in her friend’s footsteps never realizing she would get hooked up with the one person she could not stand. Well, the government said he was her match and she needed the help paying the rent since the new owners doubled it so, in for a penny in for a pound. She was in for the long haul but Tony…. not so much. This book was one of those things are never what they seem and don’t judge a book by their cover kinda reads. I would suggest reading the first book in this series. For me it helped me understand the ins and outs of everything. I am looking forward to more from this series.
This book pulled me in and kept me entranced till the end. The feelings of love, hate, and pain coming out in waves making you want to cry while you read. This was such a beautiful book! I loved the characters wholesomeness!

The second book in this series and I found myself liking the story better in this one than the first. The characters are also from the first book and yet they worked for me. Anthony Martinez has signed up in the program without his commanding officer’s approval. Receiving his wrath is nothing for him for he is used to getting yelled at. What he is not used to is failing and he feels in order to be accepted into officer school he needs to be married. The program has matched him with the woman he has struck out with more than a few times, Inara Ramirez.
Inara cannot believe the paperwork and feels that someone must be playing a trick on her. Yet there he stands her nemesis Anthony Martinez or Tony who from the last story only gave her grief. Why does he have to be so good looking? She decides to make the marriage work regardless of Tony’s outlook of only a year top. This story has everything, funny moments, sad ones, arguing, love scenes, and even moments that are inappropriate you think but not if you are married. She must work with him to help him get past his fears of commitment to another person. This is a really good story and well worth the read.
First impressions can leave a lasting impact! Which is why, Inara was so shocked to find out who the military had paired her with for the spouse-matching program. Why would they think that Tony Martinez would be her ideal match! Wynters does a great job at detailing why Inara and Tony opted to sign up for this program and how along the way their reasons no longer seemed important as they learn more about each other. They realize first appearances can be deceiving; however, not all is sunshine and roses as they come to terms with issues from their pasts that define who they are now. This is an enjoyable second book in this series and Inara and Tony are a passionate couple, quick to laugh, quick to anger, but quick to care and love the other. Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
‘Matched‘ is the second title in the ‘Navy SEALs of Little Creek‘ series about an unusual matchmaking/marriage on the spot program and the couples who may (hopefully) end up with a lifetime love just for taking a chance.
We met Tony and Inara before in ‘Issued‘ so they have a bit of history (not exactly the great kind) when they are matched up as marriage partners for the program… they aren’t exactly strangers when they meet again, but not the best of friends either.
I liked them both, for different reasons. On the surface, they don’t really seem to match up, but over time as we get to know the real Tony and Inara the connections between them become obvious, and perhaps even stronger. Inara’s wit and sarcasm – Tony’s self-awareness and loneliness – those factors hit buttons for me. I love it when an author can show me two sides to a person. The one that the world sees at first glance, and then the person they really are at their core. That’s how I felt about ‘Matched‘.
If you love digging deeper into a character if a flirty relationship is fun but a seriously falling in love one is even better then you’ll enjoy Tony and Inara’s journey to a lifetime in ‘Matched‘.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from Tule Publishing. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
Great imagination on the marriage story line between Tony and Inara, their romance and HEA. The marriage idea of signing up for a military program and getting issued a spouse is far fetched at best, but as long as the idea does not trip you up, you will enjoy the book and the writing style of the author.
Inara is a strong, hardworking, capable and sensible woman while Tony is the jokester, the comedian that hides who he is and his feelings behind the jokes and flirting.
The author did an amazing job highlighting and describing the emotions, interactions and feelings between Inara and Tony and their growing attraction to each other. The characters are well developed and likable and the interactions with funny moments were just the right amount to reflect the true relationships and friendships. I enjoyed this book can’t wait to read more by this author.

This is the second book in this fun series where SEALS are matched in the new military spouse matching program the only commitment is that they have to stay together for a year before they can go their separate ways We met both Tony and Inara in the first book in the series he is team mate of Jim while Inara works in the bar that the team hangs out in. Tony and Inara have never really hit it off so imagine their horror when they discover thy have been matched with one another. Tony needs to make this work or he will not be allowed to attend Officer School while Inara wants a family and to not become a serial divorcee like her mother. As they both start to work trying to form a commitment to one another things often go wrong as they react to one another but at the same time something is starting to build between them could the program have actually got it wight and are they perfect for one another
I really enjoyed Inara and Tony’s journey in Matched by Paris Wynters, book two in her Navy Seals of Little Creek series. This is a story of two lonely people looking for different things as they are matched to be married in the military’s new spouse-matching program. Returning from a dangerous mission, Navy Seal Anthony Martinez realizes he has no one to call and let know he’s home; unlike his teammates. This loneliness is the catalyst for his signing up for the military’s spouse matching program without his Commanding Officer’s approval. Nothing has ever been easy for Tony. He’s matched to a woman who he’s already struck out with. When his CO threatens his dreams of attending Officer Candidate School, Tony has only one option; make this marriage a success. Inara Ramirez has always wanted love and a family, but so far she has only found jerks. Her mother is a serial divorcee, which Inara refuses to allow herself to be; she wants one marriage, forever. When Inara discovers the identity of her new husband she suspects she’s being punked, anyone but him. Tony’s plan is to be married for only a year, especially if this gets him into OCS. As these two get to truly know one another they are finding that this matchmaking program might just have created the perfect match.
I loved Inara from the beginning. She was a hard worker with a passion for search and rescue as well as helping one of her former step-fathers re-build or re-store damaged houses. It took a while for me to warm up to Tony. He’s a jokester, flirt, and quite cocky. Once I learned more about his family and past some of Tony’s baggage started to make sense. Inara and Tony really were matched perfectly.
Ms. Wynters wrote a passionate and emotional story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with chemistry, intense conversations, and endearing characters giving Inara and Tony a chance for a future together. I highly recommend Matched to other readers.

This series and the story lines with these couples are getting better and better and we just on Book 2! This latino couple(Tony and Inara) really were a joy to read. They had a very rocky start and It took some time and questionable sexual chemistry between the two but both were willing to make their matched marriage work. The reasons both wanted the marriage started of completely different but were similar toward the end. I really must say I was so surprised with the way the author brought forth the sexual differences between the couple and how real she made it. Its been a long time since I read anything that didn’t have the couples sex escapades be earth shattering and the best they ever had…this was soooo different than that and it was refreshing to read something more realistic. Inara was patient and Tony(the big alpha SEAL) was eager to learn and please. Trust was tested many of times with some betrayals between them. Soul searching found the couple realizing they needed and wanted each other…be a family.and have that HEA . I really loved this story and I’m excited to continue on with the series…more SEALS need love too!

I received this arc from Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This is book 2 in the Navy Seals of Little Creek series. We met the main characters Tony and Inara in book one. Inara works as a hostess at the restaurant bar Shaken and Stirred and she volunteers for search and rescue, both with her friend Taya. Tony is a Navy Seal, in the same group of friends as Jim and their fellow seals. Tony wants to go to Officer Candidate’s School and signs up for the military’s spouse matching program in hopes it will help him get in. Inara signed up for the program after seeing how well it worked for Jim and Taya. Her mother has been married and divorced multiple times and she doesn’t want to go through the heartbreak. She decided to let the system pick out her spouse. Neither Tony or Inara were happy To learn they had been paired up since they weren’t thrilled about the other to start with. Inara had been hit on by Tony in the past and she found him cocky.
Tony moves into Inara’s apartment in Virginia Beach after they marry and is initially given the couch in the living room for his bed. He wants to remain in the marriage for the minimum year, have the marriage annulled and head off to OCS. Inara planned to be married once and have kids and a happy union. She decides to stick with Tony and try to make the marriage work. She doesn’t know at first his plan to get out after a year. She thinks her best plan is to get to know Tony better before having sex right away. The two cook together and talk to try to get on a comfortable footing.
Inara didn’t realize what it would be like when Tony went on trading exercises for weeks. He also wasn’t aware of what her search and rescues entailed so both were in for surprises. Besides Taya, Marge was another wife of a teammate who had been in the group for a very long time. She took the others under her wing.
The couple have some steamy sexual encounters and we learn that Tony is less experienced than he pretends to be. Inara is the more experienced lover and their relationship is interesting to see. They open up about their families as they get closer and we see both have experienced some sadness and loss in their past. Tony is still working through his issues with his dad. There is a lot of angst and release of feelings in the book. It is a terrific book and series. I really enjoy Ms. Wynters writing style and look forward to more books by her.
This is my first read from this author and I enjoyed it very much. I would definitely read more from this author.
Inara has always wanted to have the perfect little family and find her soul mate. She hasn’t had much luck and doesn’t want to make the mistake of picking the wrong guy. Her mom loves to marry and divorce constantly. She signs up for the Military bride match and gets Navy Seal Anthony Martinez. Anthony has got on her before and she’s turned him down because he’s to cocky and flirts with every woman. But it’s too late now and she is determined for the relationship and marriage to work. This is even with all that is stacked up against her. Great read!

The second book in the Navy Seals of Little Creek series. Navy SEAL Anthony Martinez and Inara Ramirez have been matched on a military’s science-based spouse matching program. They do not get off to a great start. I enjoyed reading this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story is one fine SEAL story. It has a good storyline and so fine characters. The story is quite on the longer side but while reading it I at least did not notice that as I was so immersed in the story and what was going on. Overall a really good story and one deserving of the fine four stars I am giving it here and I cannot wait to read more from this author

Such a silly premise but oh so much fun to read! Matched is Navy Seals of Little Creek book two by Paris Wynters. Again the US Navy is playing matchmaker. Not so much the commanding officer forcing it this time until after Navy SEAL Anthony “Tony” Martinez starts it. A career is now at stake as well as a HEA. Of course, the monkey wrench in this match is that Tony already knows the bride to be. Should be a help but she would never choose him but now the match has been made. Ironing out all their differences and difficulties is a delicious read.
This is what they don’t show on SEAL Team TV. This series may be my guilty pleasure.
An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
