Another couple with great chemistry in this series. I’m still not buying the Issued Partner Program (IPP), but this is a work of fiction and I cannot deny it is a great premise for storytelling.
Not only do Inara and Tony have wonderful chemistry, there is also a distribution of so-called power in the bedroom between the two that is different. Rarely do we see the woman as the more adventurous and experienced partner without it being some sort of shame or embarrassment. I absolutely love how Inara does not fear embracing her sexuality and showing Tony what she wants, needs, and likes. Here’s a thought from Tony’s mind that really made me fall in love with him…”What difference does it make if I’m less experienced when I have a sensual goddess like Inara to she me the light?” I mean, c’mon. He’s not only not threatened by her prowess, he’s excited to learn from her. Amazing!
The downfall to having a tough exterior is that people don’t always realize that your feelings can be hurt, too. Tony and Inara have some feeling out to do in their relationship, and keep a few too many things close to the vest in fear of getting hurt. Tony comes across as the class clown, using humor to hide his emotions, while Inara shoves her emotions down so many think she’s unfeeling. While I was expecting Tony’s reaction to something Inara kept from him, I wasn’t quite prepared for how badly it hurt them both. And how mad I would be at the two of them for how things played out.
I’m all-in with this series and can only hope Bear’s daughter is going to hop aboard the IPP train. That would be wonderfully fun to read.

This is book two in the Navy SEALs of Little Creek series. It’s Tony an Inara’s story. I enjoyed it and I’ll be keeping my eye out for the next book in the series. This book had funny and emotional parts. It does read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first book in the series and I didn’t feel lost or like I was missing part of the story. I will be going back to grab the first book in the series.
Tony and Inara both sign up for the military’s new spouse matching program. The program uses an algorithm and matches couples based on compatibility to each other. They’re both surprised when they are chosen for each other. Tony hit on her when her best friend was in the hospital (book one) using cheesy lines on her when she shot him down, she saw him not even 15 minutes later using those same cheesy lines on a nurse. Tony signs up in a moment of loneliness and Inara does it because she doesn’t trust her ability to pick guys and doesn’t want to end up like her mom who has been married and divorced multiple times. Now they have a year to try and make it work. Tony’s career is riding on it but he’s planning on bailing after a year. Inara wants to make it work. Can they figure things out and find happiness together? Or will they cut their losses and walk away?

Inara & Tony are shocked when they are matched through spouse program. The fireworks show starts as soon as Tony moves in as these two have an explosive first few weeks of marriage as Tony gets comfortable on the couch. Then they start to open up and their relationship blossoms only for one big fight to blow a hole in all they worked for. Can Inara & Tony work things out or is the rift too wide just like their past traumas?

This is the second book in the Navy Seals of Little Creek, a modern mail order bride and slow burn romance. I love these Series with intertwined characters. You can read it as a standalone, but I recommend you to read this Series in order. Anthony (Tony) and Inara’s story is well written, funny, beautiful, and intriguing, filled with misunderstandings, and a lack of communication. I loved to follow them in their journey. Inara is sassy, strong, supportive, and determined. Tony is flirty, funny, handsome, and secretive. I like the humorous banter between them. The scenes when Tony is cooking are my favorites! They have been matched by the military’s science-based spouse matching program, and this program is right! They are perfect together. I love the heartwarming and beautiful ending! The Epilogue is perfect. The supporting characters are great, and I loved to see again Taya, and Jim. I like the friendship and brotherhood in this Series. I love this Series. I am looking forward to read the next book in the Series!
Matched is exactly the kind of romance I like, syrupy sweet with a hint of Tajin spice. The main characters Tony (think sexy beefcake with a ginormous heart) and Inara (fiercely loyal and spicy) sign up for the military’s match making service for different reasons. Tony wants to impress his bosses and get into Officer Candidate School, while Inara doesn’t trust love (thanks to her mom’s many failed marriages) and decides to let the government choose for her. The last thing they expect is to fall for each other—especially since they’ve met before and Tony made a complete ass of himself.
The story was fun and romantic with sexy love scenes that will leave you blushing. The perfect summer read…just don’t blame me if you get hungry. Both Tony and Inara can make mean empanadas.
While I still find the notion of people being forced into marriage by the military, I did find this to be a quick, fun read. The characters kept me entertained.

Matched by Paris Wynters was a surprisingly complex book with layers of emotion. I thought at first it was an ageplay book based on the subtitle Navy Seals of Littel Creek- but this is definitely not. We have some tortured individuals in this book who go through a lot in a relatively short period of time. Quote a bit of angst.

Tension, conflicting emotions, and miscommunication abound in this novel about a coupe paired together in the least likely combination.
