Now he has a new dream—to open his own travel agency with the bonus he’ll get from hosting Toujour. After so long spent adrift, he longs for the stability of a permanent address and family.

Match Me by Christmas is a delightful addition to the wonderful No Match for Love series and can also be read as a stand-alone book. When Natalie joined the Toujour Matchmaking cruise as a fledgling reporter she was cynical about people falling in love in just eight days… then she bowled Shawn over in more ways than one. This is a lovely story with characters that you feel comfortable with from the start and it is also great to catch up with some favourite characters from previous books in this series. If you love romance, fabulous locations, a story with heart and a HEA then this is the book for you. I thoroughly recommend it.
Wonderful story. Lots of false starts and horrible missteps. Plenty of warm fuzzy feelings. The anticipated interim breakup was as heartbreaking as I expected. And then it was wrapped up with a fantastic ending.
Shawn and Natalie were an adorable match. She didn’t think it possible to fall in love in only eight days until it happened to her. She went on the cruise to write an article for a magazine and not as a part of the Toujour matchmakers but running into Shawn, literally, struck her in the heart. From then on the pull of their attraction was hard to deny. The backdrop of a cruise was unique and very interesting. The warm weather in Mexico was not your usual Christmas time experience but Ms Lindzee made it work by including many of the usual activities this time of the year provides. We are also introduced to some new characters which I would venture to say could be a set up for some future stories in this series. Overall I truly enjoyed reading this story as I have with all of Ms Lindzee’s stories. A wonderful clean sweet romance for any time of the year.
Shawn and Natalie have two different reasons for being on a singles cruise. Neither one is there for love. But love finds you when you least expect it. When Natalie runs into Shawn, more than just food starts to fly. Shawn and natalie seemed to have to find love under the constraint of time. Once the cruise ended, they would go their separate ways. I enjoyed this rushed, yet full romance. It felt as if it was a race against time, and I never knew if they would last longer than the cruise. Once again Lindzee Armstrong delivers a sweet, clean romance that captured my heart. I could not get enough of these two and I would love to revisit them in another book. I liked the uniqueness of the couple, and the flashback to The Love Boat.
Tiffany Williams consistently brings us a great performance. She has a way of bringing every story to life. I felt as if I was right there on the cruise with the characters. You can never go wrong with an audiobook narrate by Ms. Williams. Ms. Williams is one of my favorite narrators.
It’s a very good story about falling in love. Natalie found out that there is no time limit on true love. Shawn found that age doesn’t matter. Very cute story very much worth your time.
This was a good story
Can you fall in love in eight days? Toujour, a matchmaking company believes you can. Shawn works for the cruise line accommodating Toujour and Natalie is writing an article to promote it. Their first impressions of each other were not the best, but they found themselves drawn together. Eight days is kind of a whirlwind, but their relationship quickly develops and deepens. Will they be able to make it work after the cruise as they both want different things? Shawn and Natalie are such amazing people that you can’t help rooting for. I really enjoyed their story and the fun setting of the cruise. A great addition to the No Match for Love series.
I loved this book! Definitely a “feel good” read!
I loved this book. I thought it was so sweet how he thought about her first but I didn’t like that he thought he was less of a man because his knee injury.
SO cute, and the perfect read for the holidays.
This is the book 8 in the No Match for Love Series. I haven’t listened to the first books in the Series. This was my first Lindzee Armstrong’s book and won’t be the last. I like this Fun, Sweet, and Clean Christmas Contemporary Comedy Romance. Shawn and Natalie are great and cute characters. I love their happy ending. The story is beautifully written. I enjoyed my listening. Tiffany Williams did a wonderful narration. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.
I loved reading this book. It is a Christmas story that is set on a cruse ship with no snow. It is full of fun quirky characters that will have you laughing page after page. I enjoyed all the sassy banter, and mishaps that bring Natalie and Shawn together. The story line is entertaining, fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend as a nice holiday romantic read.
Match Me By Christmas is another sweet romance from Lindzee Armstrong. Shawn is the cruise line’s VIP coordinator for the first ever Tourjours single cruise. Natalie is almost finished earning her journalism degree when she gets an opportunity to write an article about this cruise for a national travel magazine. She wants to see the world as a reporter for this magazine. Natalie is leery of men since it seems they only date her to get close to her pro football player brother. Shawn is eleven years older . He is ready to leave ship life, settle down and start a family. What will they do about their attraction?
Better and Better!–UPDATE
I originally read and reviewed the ebook last year and commented:
“I’ve read each of the stories in this series and they are all wonderful–and each stands alone; but the advantage of a series is a familiar universe where you see old and familiar friends as you set off on a new adventure. This one takes place on a cruise ship with all the appropriate focus on food (I managed to gain ten pounds on a week-long cruise) and unique activities, as the Toujours gang does a week-before-Christmas matchmaking trip. A great deal of fun ensues, with lots of matches made and a rip-roaring shipboard romance. But can 8 days of fantasy survive the real world? A seasonal delight!”
Having now enjoyed the tale as an audiobook, I can only offer kudos to voice artist Tiffany Williams, whose characterizations add dimension to this charming plot which eventually links two series. Oh, yes, this is a fun standalone read, combining travel and romance, but imagine my delight to discover the brother of another character I’d gotten to know (cookie time!) was the hero here! And other tie-ins abound, if you’ve been following these stories. And if you haven’t? I suspect you’ll want to after enjoying this one!
College student Natalie James was tired of men only wanted to be with her because of her famous football brother Wyatt. She gets a chance to write an article for a travel magazine that if they like it would offer her the job she’s always wanted to travel the world and write about it. Shawn Erickson has been traveling the world working for a cruise line for ten years after an injury from a car accident caused him to lose his dreams of joining the Navy Seals. He wants to settle down and live in one place. There is an instant attraction between them. But Sean wonders if he’s too old, too injured, and in a different place in life than Natalie. Natalie needs to get past thinking that all men want to be with her because of her brother and she has to decide what she really wants in life. Sean has to accept that he’s good enough for her. There were plenty of funny, sweet, and romantic moments in this book. Sean was sweet with his Secret Santa gifts and bringing presents to the children at the orphanage. I loved catching up with the characters from the previous books. The actor Jase Larson was a riot and definitely deserves his own romance.
Cruising for love?
Natalie and Shawn are a bad match in many ways. He is ready to settle down, she wants to travel the world. He is more than a decade older than she is. Yet the attraction they feel for one another is unmistakable.
I really enjoyed this story. The mix of humor and conflict creates a delicious treat. It was funny to me that Shawn made such a big deal about the eleven year difference between them, but only because I am like Natalie and don’t see that as a big deal.
I know a lot of people criticize stories where the couple falls in love in a short period of time. Natalie approached this cruise with that same skepticism which added a nice twist. The author did a great job of making this believable.
Lindzee Armstrong’s entire No Match for Love series is so much fun! I love the way she started the series with Brooke and Luke’s story and has them as secondary characters in the following books. This means that each book can stand alone or be read as part of the series. My recommendation? Read them all.

This book is a great addition to the series. The story takes place during Toujour’s first singles cruise. You get hooked not only by the premise of the story but also the characters – both new ones and recurring characters. Love how the characters have realistic issues that they are dealing with and enjoyed the friendship between Natalie and Jase which allowed her to get a male’s perspective on the situations she found herself in with Shawn.
A romance on a cruise ship. She was writing about it, and he was overseeing everything. Sparks flew from the chemistry.
I absolutely adore this series; the romance, the humour, and the delightful characters. This was an absolutely fabulous addition. I particularly love the tie-in with characters from earlier books in and outside this series. A great, fun read that does justice to this excellent series.
Super cute holiday romance, and it’s only $0.99 right now! Not sure how long it’ll be at that price. I totally ignored life to read it yesterday. 🙂
