Looking to heat up your reading with an erotic historical romance? If you like your stories wickedly hot with yummy alpha males and headstrong young women, then dare to enter the Cavern of Pleasures… recognize him behind his mask for he has no intention of revealing his secret life as a Dom to his new bride.
Harrietta, the new Marchioness of Dunnesford, knows that she, modest in means and countenance, should consider herself lucky to be married to such a desirable man as the Marquess, even if he is rumored to have had more mistresses than one can count. But if he can have his fun, why not her? And the dashingly handsome Lord Elroy seems just the man to make her forget about her loveless marriage.
Vale knows that Elroy, also a secret Dom at Madame Botreaux’s, can’t be trusted not to hurt a submissive. To protect Harrietta, Vale must claim her as his own, but he soon discovers this feisty wife of his isn’t so easy to tame. Especially when things start heating up in the Cavern of Pleasures.
Reader Advisory: This is an erotic romance with light BDSM elements and submissive training

This was a fun story filled with sexy scenes and ending with HEA. My only suggestion would be for an editor to run through before it goes to print. There were several type-os that were distracting.
Otherwise known as how to fall in love with your wife. Kinky, hilarious, and yet cute. This was an enjoyable read. I received a free review copy of the audio version of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Really enjoyed this historical read.
A ghastly plot. Well written keeps you reading to the end, even if I don’t want to.
This book was very steamy. I enjoyed reading all the books in this series.
I don’t recommend this book
Enticing and erotic. A tantalizing read.
Not much on the characters, or plot.
I find most historical romances boring but this book was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed it from start to finish. I was little disappointed when it was finished. I would have liked a little more of Harrietta at the club with Vale after she discover his secret.
This wasn’t a romantic book at all.
Didn’t really enjoy book. To predictable.
The BDSM genre is not my favorite but this one was interesting and fun because of the characters. I think, even persons like myself, who not usually read this kind of HR will still find this one entertaining.
This book is about BDSM, which does not appeal to me
Was shocked at first but I got over that. How ever not really my type of book to read but finished it anyhow.
Loved this book both characters were likeable and interesting. Loved their attraction to one another in both his roles. Loved the fact that she often thought he touched or reminded her in some way of her husband.
I think it is a book you will find quite enjoyable.
The first page began with filth, so I didn’t bother to go any farther.
Average
This book was okay. I would not classify it as a romance, but it certainly was erotica. It lacked some details that would make it a book that I would purchase on my own (for example…the main characters have plenty of sex, but why exactly do they fall in love?). There are some character inconsistencies that make it a bit boring at times, such as the main character’s moral code, the author seems to imply that he is such an upstanding person that people trust and hold in high regard, but he openly cheats on his wife and really has no interest in knowing her on any emotional level.
stopped reading this book. not about a plot, just about sex — and fringe sex at that. Couldn’t in good conscience continue to read it.
Just a little too graphic for me.
