After coming upon an injured female shifter in his pack’s territory, Ryder Forrest quickly discovers that she has no memory of her identity. Driven by instinctual need to protect, master, and eventually claim the beautiful woman he decides to call Eve, he brings her home with him.Though Eve runs off into the woods on her own as soon as she has regained her strength, Ryder does not hesitate to … hesitate to chase her down and mark her as his. It will take more than just his mark to tame her, however, and when Eve’s reckless, defiant behavior continues she soon learns the hard way that Ryder is more than willing to strip her bare and correct her sternly and shamefully.
Even with her well-punished bottom sore inside and out, Eve cannot deny her body’s response to Ryder’s firm-handed dominance, and when he takes her hard and thoroughly she is left spent and satisfied. But will the brute who once hurt her return one day to threaten harm to her new pack?

Wow
This was kind of rough story, but it got its HEA, sort of. Trauma of the worst kind and trying to overcome that with discipline | spankings to show love and guidance? Don’t know about that. Overall, a good story. #HappyReading

She has hidden herself in her wolf side for protection. Housetraining and discipline are needed. Once she comes out, he is drawn to the delicate woman. She is his to discipline, punish and protect. Now he and his pack need to find a murderer while keeping her safe. A good read.

This is the third book in the Marked Mates series. You do not have to read the first two books in the series to enjoy this book, but it will help you understand what is going on in the story. Ryder is the enforcer for the Hunter pack. During the gathering of the Northern Council Assembly of Wolf Clans, Eve was found abused. She was unable to speak and when frightened by a male shifter, she shifted to a wolf and stayed that way for months. Ryder is trying to help her. She eventually changes back to human but is unable to remember how to speak and Ryder has to teach her how to be a human again. Things gradually get better for Eve and she and Ryder are falling in love. They are still searching for the shifter that abused Eve, but they haven’t found him yet. There is a HEA for Eve and Ryder, but the book does end on a cliffhanger for the overall plot that runs through the series.

Restoring the bond
This has been a long awaited book and I enjoyed the exciting return to the wolf pack. So much was going on in this book, with surprises and revelations at every turn, but the underlying thread of connection being made by the main characters was more than worth the read. I was a little disappointed at the ending because I felt like I was left hanging, but I love that Eve and Ryder are happy for now. I don’t know where the author is taking this series next, but I hope a certain blonde behemoth of a wolf, who is about to receive some disturbing news, finds his mate to master next. No matter what, I will be waiting anxiously for the next book. Hopefully I won’t have to wait too long.
