“You’re my assistant.”The magic words every girl at Trinity Academy are dying to hear. But I’m the one who gets stuck with Mason Chargill, the star of most women’s fantasies but my nightmare. One of the heirs to CRC Holdings, he might be dangerously gorgeous, but his cold and callous demeanor makes him an ice prince. He expects me to abide by the Academy’s hierarchy, to be at his constant beck and … hierarchy, to be at his constant beck and call.
Yeah, right… hell will freeze over before that ever happens.
Unfortunately for him, I’m no pushover.
Unfortunately for me, he’s determined to break me.
If only there were a way to melt that shard of ice, he calls a heart.

Mason is the second book in the ‘Trinity Academy’ series by Michelle Heard.
This was book EVERYTHING. I am literally in my feelings right now. This book stole my heart quite literally!
Mason was everything I hoped he would be. He’s unapproachable, but he’s fearless and loyal. He will steal your heart as he did mine. However, Kingsley stole the spotlight with her the glass is half full attitude. She grounded Mason and they were flawless together.
These two are perfection and they were everything I was hoping for.
Thank you Michelle Heard for another masterpiece!
Omg. Michelle Heard is killing me with these books! I love the characters. Mason’s plot was fast paced and action packed. And the cliffhangers. I may not survive them. I need Lake’s book right now!
“Mason” (Trinity Academy Book 2) by Michelle Heard is the second interconnected book from the Trinity Academy Series and let me tell you it is a HOT story of Mason and Kingsley. I am hook with these series; it is a well written story line. That once you start reading you cannot put it down. So much raw emotions that grip at your heart and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Mason with so much anger and power at his fingertips but can be as gentle as a newborn. You cannot help to fall in love with these two characters as they find their way to one another. Cannot wait to get my hands-on Luke the third book. I totally recommend you read the entire series.
I am blown away with this story. Mason and Kingsley are amazing together. Their journey is adventurous. You go on an emotional ride with them. I absolutely adore them. The writing and flow of this book is perfect. I absolutely recommend this book.
Michelle Heard continues this series in Book #2. It is Mason and Kingsley’s story. We read about them from the first book in the series, Falcon. This book picks up from the jaw-dropping, heart-stopping cliffhanger from Book #1. This is a standalone with a HEA but is an interconnected series. I suggest reading them all.
Geez! Where do I start with Mason?! He is a broody, sexy, alpha male with a chip on his shoulder. He isn’t looking for a relationship but he does need an assistant. When he chooses someone, they don’t have a choice but to accept. That’s the way it goes when you are one of the three leaders at the Trinity Acadamy. No one messes with you, and no one says no. So when he chooses Kingsley, he does it to spite her and tick her off. He finds her sunny outlook and smart mouth irritating and can’t believe she has the nerve to mouth off to him. On the flip side, he secretly likes that she doesn’t take his crap. Kingsley can’t stand Mason Chargill. He’s a privileged jerk and I’m sure she’d like to throat punch him, but he also intimidates her a little. There’s something dark about him. Their push and pull and witty banter are highly entertaining. I love the way Mason pushes her buttons, and Kingsley’s responses are everything.
This book had me hooked from start to finish! There were twists and turns I didn’t see coming. There were heartbreaking, heart-stopping moments. I laughed, cried, swooned, squirmed from the heat and passion between them. Basically, a roller coaster of emotions. This book is even better than Falcon. It ends with another jaw-dropping, holy moly cliffhanger (but their story is complete) which introduces the next book, Lake’s story. I can’t wait for Lake’s story! I highly recommend reading this book, heck, this entire series!

It’s hard to have feelings for a guy that you are certain hates you, Kingsley knows she isn’t Mason’s favorite person, as his sullen attitude towards her shows it, but for some reason he has chosen her to be his assistant. A job she was never in the market for, or honestly speaking, really wanted, but she doesn’t get a choice in the matter. He is always there with a snide comment, or ridiculous demand, but it’s not anything she can’t handle, she lives for pushing his buttons!
Lying underneath that domineering personality of his though lies a tender heart and a bit of sweetness… and Kingsley wants to know that man, the one her heart could definitely love. The trick is figuring out how to sneak past his defenses…
Between the pages of this emotionally charged tale lies a story destined to put a squeeze on your heart, there is no way these two won’t have you feeling something! Mason has a whole host of demons that he carries with him, and when Kingsley comes into his life he instantly knows they could be something special, but old hurts have him pushing her away. But she isn’t going away so easily, for every hurtful thing he says, the more she comes back around trying to get him to let her in. I loved watching these two circle around one another and try to deny what was lingering between them. They may have been as opposite as two people could be, but their hearts knew something that they didn’t… they were meant to be joined. This series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, the words come with the angst and emotion I crave, and the characters are hard not to love, I cannot wait to see what happens next for this charmed group. Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Mason by Michelle Heard is one of those books that pulls you in and doesn’t want to let you go. This is the second book in the trinity Academy Series and if you’ve read the first book ‘Falcon’, you would have met Mason and Kingsley who this story is about. Mason Chargrill is going to be the President of CRC Holdings and that entails. He comes across as cold and callous after a family tragedy has left him devastated. Enter Kingsley, a bubbly and lovely young woman who gives as good as she gets to Mason, who she is now assistant too. Nothing Mason seems to do bursts her bubble and he can’t figure out how she has managed to wheedle her way into his heart.
This was a great addition to the series. Mason and Kingsley are great together and it was wonderful to read how that was happening. There were some tense moments throughout the book where Kingsley was in danger and Mason didn’t know how to handle his feelings or even what being in a relationship would mean, but it all seemed to work out and I have to say that Kingsley seemed to make Mason more human and help him with his family tragedy.
I loved the building relationship that Mason had with his mum and dad and what that looked like and the courage it took to face those emotions head on. As always, the rest of the gang are back and the camaraderie and love they have for each other is really touching as a reader. There are so many emotions when reading this book and although it has a HEA, it isn’t really tied up in a bow, highlighting how ‘real life’ the stories that Michelle Heard write. I can’t wait to read lake’s story which is the next one in the series. Overall, a great read for me!

I love this series
I am officially hooked ! This is book two of the trinity series and you will need to read book one first to get a good picture of what’s happening as well as not have this book spoil things that happen in book 1!
But as for this book … mason and Kingsley
Mason is Devine ! He’s the rough tough one that’s really hurting and lost . And Kingsley she’s bad ass and takes no crap from anyone !
They fight she sasses and he teases and their attraction blossoms it’s hot and steamy and they are perfect for each other .
And really the best part of this series is the whole gang of characters ! Honestly they are such a tight knit group their love and devotion for each other as friends and partners is unbreakable . They love unconditionally and it’s so easy to connect to .
I love the Dynamics the author has created and the world building is so well done.
Also, Although this is not a rom com there were parts of this book that had me laughing so much ! So good !!
I also love the ongoing growth and healing that you see happening within The families . All of the guys come from overly rich families that have had their own hardships but as they learn to love and forgive and communicate there is more love and hope that reaches them all .
Mason’s story was everything!!!! I cried for him. All the guilt and heartache he was carrying with him. Kingsley is the perfect woman for him. I am over the moon that Mason gets an HEA and overcomes his past. The Trinity Academy series is a must read!!
5 stars for Mason by Michelle Heard. This is book 2 in the Trinity Academy series. OMG Mason ! My heart just broke for this man. I just wanted to grab him and give him a big hug. Mason has had it rough and been closed off since the lose of his sister. Kingsley has blown into his life like a tornado, all sass and beautiful. This book starts right where book 1 ended. Mason has so much guilt for everything in his life that has gone wrong. We learn what happened the night of his sister’s accident and what made him the way he is. However, after a horrible thing happens to Kingsley, things change between these two. Mason and Kingsley are both great characters and the attraction they have for each other could change everything for them. I love these two together and I could not get enough of them . Starting Lake’s book now.
MASON (Trinity Academy #2) by Michelle Heard
5 STARS
Mason is the second book in the Trinity Academy series by the author Michelle Heard.
It is Mason’s and Kingsley’s story, it is told in dual P. O. V. and I highly recommend you read the first book in this series, Falcon.
O. M. G….. and here I thought that Falcon was the beast, the scary one, the badass, the arrogant asshole, the dominant one.
NO !!! Mason is all of the above and more, much more.
I fell in love with Mason even from reading Falcon’s story. Obviously, his hatred and wickedness have a source.
O. M. G….what a story, what a past.
Of all three GODS that rule Trinity Academy, Mason is the meanest of all, the worst and most feared of them. He doesn’t argue, he just kicks ass. He is scary, he is angry, nobody dares to upset him, or his brothers.
Of course, Kingsley is Layla’s best friend and she is the EXACT opposite of Mason.
She is full of life and color. She smiles all the time, she is always happy. Her style is awful, she is clumsy and she doesn’t care what others think or say about her, she is so strong, she is feisty, she is sassy, she doesn’t take shit from anyone, especially Mason. She is always challenging him. She always fights him.
And here I thought Layla was the badass. NO…. Kingsley is the “BOMB”. She is a force that cannot be knocked down.
Mason and Kingsley are crazy fun. They are like cats and dogs. She has an attitude to the moon and back.
Mason is scared. He is still suffering for his great loss, but more, he is scared of Kingsley, he knows she will just turn his world upside down. She just makes him lose control.
Kingsley and Lake are like brother & sister. They are so alike.
This book is hilarious. The whole series is actually hilarious.
The boys’ bound is hilarious. Lake is hilarious.
This book was the bomb.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
On to Lake story right the FUCK NOW.
The second of the Trinity Academy and this picks up pretty much where the last book left off just in Mason’s POV. You should read the first before this, as the plot carries over and all that jazz. Kingsley and Mason have a hate/hate relationship, in fact Kingsley has stated that Mason sort of scares her. So when he freaks out after she is involved in a skiing mishap, she is confused with his change of character. When she figures out his tough guy act is just that, an act to put people off, Kingsley decides to do the old kill ’em with kindness act.
Mason’s past haunts him, the loss of his sister and the PTSD from that accident is something that he has to struggle with daily. In an effort to not feel, he acts all tough and pushes people away. With Layla coming into their group and bringing Kingsley with her, things start to change, and with that Mason starts to feel. When he almost loses Kingsley before he can tell her or show her how he feels, he is determined that he will do anything in his power to make sure she knows his feelings and protects her at all costs. Will he be able to show her just how he feels?
Mason and Kingsley for the win! I absolutely adored this story; giving us better naughty moments than book one, some serious drama and a tad bit of danger, this was a very entertaining read. I give this 4 stars.
wow what a hot read that will have you on the edge of your set. this is a very alpa read that will have you needing more of the hot a steamy read.
5 You’re My Heartbeat Crowns
This is book 2 in the Trinity series and it picks up right where the cliffhanger left us in book 1. I was so anxious to get to this story because I needed to know what was going to happen. This series flows so nicely and the transitions are seamless, it’s as if it could be one long book instead of separate stories. But I love that Michelle separated them out so that each character got their own moments and allowed us to fall in love with each of them. Michelle did an amazing job of developing each one of the characters into their own persona, and creating these stories that feel real and authentic.
“Sigh. The beauty of a fallen angel… with the soul as dark as night.”
If I thought Falcon was closed off he has nothing on Mason. This man has a huge wall erected around him so that he doesn’t have to feel anymore. But then you find out that he actually feels it all and it just breaks your heart. When he has his moments were he’s lost to his memories you just want to reach into this story and hold him tell him it’s going to be okay. And then watching him come to terms with his past and start truly letting Kingsley in is utterly satisfying.
“He was literally my heartbeat. ”
Kingsley is the exact opposite of Mason, she is light where he is dark. She is perpetually happy and see’s joy in all things. But at the same time she doesn’t let Mason’s surliness get in her way. She tries really hard not to let him affect her and the banter between them is tense and delicious. I loved watching the progression of their relationship. She helped Mason more than she even realized she was doing, and it makes your heart so happy to see him start to piece himself back together.
“I’ve never felt greed before today, not until I realized I don’t want to share her smiles with anyone. I don’t want to share her.”
This series just continues to get better as it goes on. Each of these characters is unlike the rest and weaves together a magical story that you won’t want to end. Mason and Kingsley are completely perfect opposites that are exact what the other needed. Mason is so beautifully broken your heart will ache for him, and Kingsley’s infectious laugh and personality will show you why he fell so hard and fast. And again Michelle has decided to leave a Cliffhanger that will make your jaw drop.
Mason is so broken after his sister’s death, it breaks your heart and makes you want to wrap the moody man in a hug. Kingsley is forever the optimist and always worried about everyone but herself. They make the most adorable couple with their constant bickering. I cant wait to read Lake’s book
Mason moved me! 5 stars
I laughed and cried and enjoyed every moment of this book! I loved the peeling back of Mason’s layers to see what was really going on underneath the anger/rage we saw in Falcon’s book. My heart broke and cried for him, and his story moved me. Kingsley was different from any girl he had been with before, because she sassed him and stood up to him. Their bickering was delightful to read, because it was really them falling in love! When push came to shove, Mason realized Kingsley was his light out of the darkness and to see Mason’s heart and soul start to heal was beautiful to read. I highly recommend this book and series.
Mason is the 2nd book in the Trinity series and it was such a great book. Mason’s attitude I tell you sometimes I wanted to knock him out. Lol. Anyway’s book 2 picks right up from book 1 and i love that i also love the fact that Ms Heard released all the Trinity series all together so there wasn’t a wait to see what happens with the rest of the friends. So now on to book 3 Lake!!
4*
Wow what can I say except I’ve been waiting on Masons book since Falcon & it definitely did not disappoint!
We have Mason the protective of his friends Lake, Mason & his girlfriend Layla now throw in Kingsley take me as you find me no holds bared girl & we have sparks !
I fell in love with these characters from book 1 & I’m now desperately awaiting Lakes book.
Mason is the second book in the Trinity Academy series and did not disappoint in the least. Mason is the dark broody one of the three (Lake, Falcon and Mason) and his story line pulled on my heart strings in the best of ways. He is the most distant of the three and the most closed off and Kingsley somehow makes her way under his skin and game over. I loved the story line with all that was going on, his loyalty to her and his friends and this story kept me completely engrossed the whole time.
And that ending — book three where are you????
“I’m not his enemy.
I’m not his friend.
But I can be a safe haven he can escape to.”
The guys from Trinity Academy are back. Mason, Falcon and Lake continue to tell their stories, but now the main focus is on Mason, the tormented bad boy. Resuming at the same time as the previous book ends, we accompany the group gathered on a trip, and skiing is the fun of the time. With the three friends reunited, plus the presence of Layla and Kingsley, this trip will be filled with ups and downs. Bringing together a volatile Mason and an independent Kingsley in the same place is a guarantee of trouble.
When an accident nearly puts them in danger, old demons from the past once again haunt Mason, and being so close to Kingsley reminds him of someone very important. With Mason on the brink of collapse, reliving his worst nightmare, past and present will merge, and helping his friend will be the guys’ top priority. But as much as they support him, this fight has to be won by Mason himself.
Kingsley, who had previously feared Mason, glimpses his lost and tormented side. And if before she wanted to stay away, now her approach will be to treat him with extreme kindness. Fact that will disarm him completely. But having already suffered a terrible loss, he is unwilling to let her get close and risk losing someone important again.
When another accident occurs, leaving a character on the verge of death, Mason will relive all his torment, and the agony of thinking he could lose the woman he loves will be too much for him. Willing not to waste any more time, he will finally accept that he deserves to be happy. But first a vengeance must be completed.
Mason is phenomenal. If in the previous book he got my attention, here he won my heart. All his anguish, his torment, made me want to hug him and never let go. Kingsley was the strength and the lightness he needed. The friendship between the three guys only strengthens, and seeing how they protect themselves is exciting.
The narrative continues to show facts of the first book, the works are interconnected. Serena has her punishment, and next on the list is Falcon’s mother. Lake and his fiancée’s plot also develops, and I can’t wait to see what will happen. Didn’t expect for the connection between Jen and Julian. I was curious to know more of the past. The book ends again in a cliffhanger, which made me anxious and perplexed.
The two books in the series so far have been great. The author has created interesting characters, human and real. It is worth reading.
