“You’re my assistant.”The magic words every girl at Trinity Academy are dying to hear. But I’m the one who gets stuck with Mason Chargill, the star of most women’s fantasies but my nightmare. One of the heirs to CRC Holdings, he might be dangerously gorgeous, but his cold and callous demeanor makes him an ice prince. He expects me to abide by the Academy’s hierarchy, to be at his constant beck and … hierarchy, to be at his constant beck and call.
Yeah, right… hell will freeze over before that ever happens.
Unfortunately for him, I’m no pushover.
Unfortunately for me, he’s determined to break me.
If only there were a way to melt that shard of ice, he calls a heart.

Mason Chargill seems to have a lot of anger built up inside. Kingsley Hunt is Layla’s friend. If you go “who?” then you’re in the wrong book, this is a series that should be read in order. They all go to the same college and it seems like a lot of their interactions/life shows what they may be like and how they grow.
Our author created a moment where the group is together and I just couldn’t help myself. I had to laugh out loud. It shows how good the author is at creating both serious and humorous moments. She also makes it very easy to picture the scenes. Sometimes they’re emotional, sometimes comical, and sometimes thought provoking.
You see three young men who are friends and really care about each other – brotherly love shines. But at times it seems that they fight for our attention but with Kingsley’s great comebacks it’s interesting to watch to see who’s going to come out on top. We get just enough of Falcon and Layla to see how far they’ve come since the last book. We get just enough of Lake that the author will have you wondering what the author has in store for him in the next book.
I have to say that I liked Mason’s story just a little more than Falcon’s. The tone of the book is so different from Falcon’s. This book is a little more lighthearted and that’s due in part to Kingsley’s personality. There’s a secondary character that keeps popping up and I have to wonder how things are going to end for her. When I finish the story it leaves me looking forward to the next book because the ending has made me very curious.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Mason is the second book in the Trinity Academy series and OMG what a book! There are so many things I want to say about this book but I don’t like leaving any spoilers in the review, you just have to read it to see for yourself. I loved Mason and Kingsley’s story. The book is tense, hot, sexy as hell, tears, laughter, love and heart warming moments. I’m so ready and looking forward to Lake’s story. I recommend reading this series.
I thank the author for providing a copy for review.

Following on from Falcon’s story we dive straight into the action with Mason’s story, and what a story. I wasn’t expecting to love Mason quite as much as I did, and I most definitely did. He was perfect, just the right amount of moody and sexy, with a lot of heart. My heart broke for him at times, even when he was being difficult, but I loved how Kingsley ‘handled’ him, I loved their chemistry together, be it while fighting or while flirting. What a great match they were for each other, two peas in a pod. I’m so looking forward to Lake’s story, luckily I don’t have long to wait, because, yes, that cliffie is killing me. Although this could technically be read as a standalone, to enhance your pleasure and understanding it should be read after Falcon. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.
Mason was SO GOOD! I was glued to my kindle from start to finish. With a huge smile on my face.
Can Kingsley tame the beast??
Lol you’ll have to read to find out. No spoilers here
The antics of these characters had me laughing so hard. Yet you also get lots emotional moments that pull at the heartstrings.
Can’t wait for Lake’s story, but will be sad to say goodbye to these amazing characters
I recommend reading Falcon first as this book follows straight on from Book 1.
Yet another epic book from this author.
I was hooked from cover to cover. It will have you turning the pages so fast!
One min you will be crying on characters behalf, next you’ll be rolling round the floor laughing at them.
Definitely a must read, would give more stars if I could.
WOW!!! This series has became on of my favorite reads of 2019!! Mason, the second book in The Trinity Academy series, absolutely blew me away!!! Michelle Heard has given us a magnificent story with Mason and Kingsley. These characters are so easy to love that you don’t want to quit reading once you start.
This is not a standalone read and book 1, Falcon, should be read first. As with book 1, Mason ends with a cliffhanger of epic proportions, so if that’s not your thing, then I highly recommend reading this series after all 3 books are published,
