Better than your average romance novel. More and better character development which kept my interest much better. I actually read the sequel I was so invested in the characters. Strong female character.
This has me waiting for the next novel. Not a steamy novel as I don’t life romance genre. It’s more about facing challenges of the era and creatively navigating them. Good read.
I love the whole series
I didn’t immediately like this book. But, as I continued to read I found myself enjoying it and anxious to learn what comes next. There is history, mystery, sorrow and joy. It is well written and I only wish it wasn’t a series book… more books to purchase. I do recommend it and just purchased the second in the series.
Good read, recommended.
Not entirely plausible, but entirely enjoyable!
I loved this book!
I was glad that I saw another review say that it was a little slow to start. Once it got going I loved it and even woke up in the middle of the night with a key plot revelation!!!
Loved the book. Hated the ending
This is a good series story. Well developed story line and good characters. Highly recommend them.
just finished the 5th of the series. Cant wait for the next book. I find myself wondering what my friends in the books are doing during the day. Weird how they seem so close.
Loved the book. First one in quite a while that made me want to buy the rest of the series.
Not the greatest, but not the worst either. I read the entire book, wanting to see how the story progressed and wasn’t disappointed. Just unable to “rave” about it.
I loved this book!! I was disappointed when it ended and can’t wait to read the next book in the series
I would have liked a better ending..possibly an Epilogue. It ended too quickly.
I couldn’t put it down!
tough to get into. Very slow start. Better as the story progressed
Loved the characters. Is there a follow-up book?
This book was an excellent read. Kept my interest to the very end.
A diffrent twist on a romantic historical novel.
