A good long read. Well worth the time but you’ll have to continue the series to answer all you’re questions.
This series of books kept me buying them after the first FREE ONE. I NEVER DO THAT! It is how great this series is. Read all of them!!!
The writer does a great job of reeling the reader in. This book has a wonderful story-line and keeps the reader engaged.
A romantic historical novel. A bit too much feminism, hero and heroine too pure. Good descriptions, action, multiple witty scenes and language, captivating, good amount of history. Very good read.
Bought sequel
I bought the rest of the series, so in love with these characters. Really amazing author. Gives you real historic info at the end of each book. Amazing, so so good!!
I enjoyed the history of this book.
Great read for readers who enjoy historical fiction. It was a page turner for me and I continued with the series, I am reading the 4th one now and the thrill accelerates with each book, loved it!
Fantastic series! Currently on book four of the series. Keeping me hooked!
I can’t get enough of this series, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series…hurry please!
A great story,
One of the best I have read this year.
Hard to put down
Good sweeping saga of Jacobite times in England.
Amazing first book of a series. It has well developed characters and suspense in a plot with twists. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger though, so if you are not a fan of having to read a series, this may not be for you.
Very interesting story. Knowing the cause was doomed to failure, I opted to stop reading the series.
Wonderful characters, story line, descriptions of times
Loved it
This was a delightful book in its genre. I am about the purchase the second book in the series as I cannot wait to be engaged by the lovely characters in this series,
Interesting and entertaining
