The death of Mary Meyer left many Americans with questions. Who really killed her? Why did CIA counterintelligence chief James Angleton rush to find and confiscate her diary? Had she discovered the plan to assassinate her lover, President Kennedy, with the trail of information ending at the steps of the CIA? Was it only coincidence that she was killed less than three weeks after the release of the Warren Commission Report?
Fans of The Murder of Mary Russell, JFK: A Vision for America, and other JFK books will love Mary’s Mosaic. Building and relying on years of interviews and painstaking research, author Peter Janney follows the key events and influences in Mary Pinchot Meyer’s life–her first meeting with Jack Kennedy; her support of her secret lover, President Kennedy, as he worked towards the pursuit of world peace and away from the Cold War; and her exploration of psychedelic drugs. Fifty years after the assassinations of President Kennedy and Mary Meyer, this book helps readers understand why both took place.
Author Peter Janney fought for two years to obtain documents from the National Personnel Records Center and the US Army to complete this third edition. It includes a final chapter about the mystery man who could be the missing piece to learn the truth behind Meyer’s murder.more
I don’t usually believe in conspiracy theories but this book has made me think twice about what actually goes on within our government.
Insight into CIA/FBI world. I had read a lot about the Kennedy’s being womanizers. This seems factual. But scary to think about what the government organizations are involved in.
This book is one that every American should read
More truth about the evil forces behind the Kennedy assination. These force’s are still out there and continue to manipulate the world.
Interesting read. Makes you view things in a different light. Frightening to consider the series of historical events happening the way the author suggests and believes. Lots of research that seems to back up his claims. Certainly worth reading so you can decide for yourself!
This book is full of speculation based on inter-relationships between people and government positions. Not worth the time for people looking for insight or information on the Kennedy assassination.
This book kept my jaw dropping, and my head shaking.
Awesome read,
Pretty dry & repetitive about details. Got bored & did not finish.
Interesting additional information about a key figure in JFK’s life and circle. It needed a better editor, as it drones on quite a LOT. Also, the entries about the actual murder of this woman were full of speculation about what she MIGHT have seen, or thought, or felt…. very novel-like characteristics for a book that sells itself as telling a factual story. But she is an interesting character in a world full of fascinating people, and I’m glad I read the story.
A good story confusingly written. I got exhausted trying to parse it all out.
This is an excellent book but much too long. The author researched the issue amazingly but the more I read the more I noticed the author repeating himself. Gives you pause to think about how corrupt our lawmakers really are.
Hard to tell whats real or trumped up and varigated truth….absolute unbiased factual history is a very rare creature…. i will say this book will open your mind to how our government works…..you may or may not like the truth….your decision
Interesting but found it difficult to read.
Extensively researched.
repetitive
Everyone needs to read this book. Especially with what is happening in America right now.
Really gives some insite into the CIA, JFK, and Mary’s murder.
Intreaging investigation into how our intelligence services, from Preidents Truman and Eisenhower feared wat the CIA &FBI had become. Even today with President
Trump, it’s apparent that their influence is unincombered and pervasive for ili-
Directed purpose..
Mary Mayer was eliminated because she knew too much but failed to perceive the danger of exposing it. Remember Seth Mayer? Chilling exposeure of how unbridled Government operates. Tremendous amount of effort by the Author, compiling data, conducting interviews and placing himself in mortal jepordy.
Tremendous read, freightening.
Certainally worth the time to read and understand.
A fascinating book . The author is relentless in his pursuit of justice. The truth is out there but many people will not talk. Very interesting.
