Martin Luther is arguably one of the most influential people in the past millennium. He is perhaps most notably recognized for nailing the “Ninety-five Theses” to the door of the Wittenberg Castle church, effectively initiating what is now Christian Protestantism. Luther was radical, wittily sarcastic, and rebellious against the traditional establishments of the Church. Whatever Luther could do … could do to progress and defend Scripture, he did, even at the risk of his life. He is often referred to as the “Great Reformer” and the father of Lutheranism. His devotion and passion for the word of God would become his driving force. He would face ridicule, opposition, and at times, daily death-threats, yet his grasp on the word of God would ultimately preserve him for a lifetime of far-reaching accomplishment.

I learned a lot about Martin Luther, and found that he had a lot of faith. He was flawed in many ways as are many of us. But God stll used him in a mighty way,
Everybody should read to understand how important this is to our Christian history. It left me wanting more, though. This book was far too short.
This book was simply written, but I learned some things about Martin Muther.
I love the history of the great Reformer.
An insight to the life of Martin Luther. Just interested how he left the Catholic church and the start of the Lutheran church. Interesting read.
The level of details in the life and struggles of Martin Luther seem to be very well researched. Circumstances and events of his times are realistic, but there is definitely an interpretive religious bias in some statements and conclusions. It is however, not negative nor condemnatory, which is such a relief in these days of inflammatory rhetoric.
North does a great job bringing this noted Christian figure to life. He filled in much of Luther’s background, choosing details that seemed pertinent to the man he became, while at the same time keeping his work to a manageable size. this is a book aimed at a like-faith audience. If you are that kind of person, you will appreciate this short biography very much.
Any book I’ve read by Wyatt North is worth the time. His books move fast and inform you about the characters he writes about. I especially enjoy anything biographical he writes. This one is great!
I always heard about what Martin Luther did, but this book gives you a very informative description of what caused him to lead the separation from the Roman Catholic Church. I enjoyed this read!
True story of how God used this man to spark the Reformation and battle those who were abusing God,s people.
I found out a lot that I didn’t know about Martin Luther in this book … very good information and laid out well.
Good, short, concise history lesson. Would probably be called Martiin Luther 101 if it were a college seminar.
This was easy to read and had interesting facts, but it was too short and omitted some events that would have added a little dimension.
A good place to start for anyone interested in the Reformation.
For anyone with any religious persuasions,a well written, historical biography of one of the Christian leaders of the Reformation.
I knew most of the history involving Martin Luther but this put it all together in a quick review.
This is a short summey of Martin Luther and his articles posted. It was interesting but not much detail of his life.
I enjoyed getting a more realistic picture of who Luther was – with warts and wrinkles/good and bad.
I was surprised, however, at how many typos there seemed to be in the e-book.
How do you rate a book that changed the course of religious history? What men endure for their faith and belief is amazing. Our society is so concerned with forcing political correctness on the population, revisiting Luther’s persecution for going against the “powers that be” is a lesson for all to ponder.
It is short, just hitting the high points of Luther’s life.
Greatly interesting. Love the Christian history in this book. A man after God’s job heart.
