Predictable but pleasant. Nothing very original.
Great story, easy to read, keeps your attention. A fun book to read
I thought that the book was well written and had unique story line. Characters were great. It was a really good book
Even though I didn’t think I’d be a fan of Westerns, this book proved me wrong. Every day I looked forward to the evening when I could read a few more chapters. It also gives good insights into the prejudices women faced in the West in years past, and through both humorous incidents and lots of adventure keeps you looking forward to the next chapters. I’ll be looking forward to reading more by this author.
Strong characters and fun to watch them entangle….
Two main characters drawn together through their work and share similar lose. Female marshal, never heard of that, but interesting how that came about. Danna doubts herself in many areas and Chas can not see beyond his loses and what he feels are his failures. Love how this worked out with a feel good ending.
Western romance with a major twist, the sheriff is a woman!
all ready read it
Not very challenging, but an interesting pastime for light rrading.
Very enjoyable read! Characters are very engaging!
good, light reading
I really enjoyed this book and loved that it was different from most westerns.
I want to read more of Lacy’s books.
This story is quite predictable, but if someone just wants something light to read go for it.
Awesome book great characters
Easy read
Very quick read. I loved the characters, the spiritual aspect, and the historical ‘Old West’ setting. The book did need a more qualified proofreader.
I enjoy historical novels that take you to that time and reveal life as it was. This book did that and I particularly appreciated the woman’s point of view!
The possibility of a woman being the head law enforcement officer in a town in Wyoming is slim, but if anywhere it would be there since it was the first state to grant women the right to vote.
I enjoyed the story line of Marrying Miss Marshal, but felt the story as a whole lacked depth. Problems were resolved and there were no questions left hanging; I think the problem is I just prefer stories to have a little more ‘meat’ to them.
a woman could have been a great Marshall.
