Sort of romantic but not icky sweet. Very enjoyable. I would love to see a sequel.
It was a bit too predictable.
Not as believable as other books on the subject of women doing what was considered mans work. OK but not great.
Enjoyed this book and would recommend to anyone.
I enjoyed the premis of a woman Marshall.
Love strong female characters.
I enjoyed the book. It was an easy read. It had a few twist in it but was easy to see where the author was heading. I usually read for relaxation and don’t want something too complicated.
I really enjoyed the story line in this book. The author wrote the characters well enough I repeatedly found myself upset with the “bad guys” in the book. Ending worked out a little more smoothly than I thought realistic, but still a well-written and enjoyable read, with a good ending. I’m sure I’ll read it again at some time.
Definitely different.
Interesting idea but plot and characters were a bit flat.
Did not hold my interest.
Wonderful story. Clean and pleasant romance.
I was hooked on this book from the opening page. It was hard to put down.
This was the first old west female law enforcement storyline for me. It was fun.
This book kept me turning pages wanting to know what happens next. Danna serves as the 24-year old marshal is a small but raucous Wyoming town. She came by the job after her husband, the former marshal was murdered. She’s got the skills for the job, but no man will ride with her. Then comes Chaz O’Grady, a Pinkerton-style undercover detective in search of a rustling ring said to be operating in the teritory….And the fun begins. You’ll be impressed with Danna with her tenacity, courage, and pure guts. Both main characters have complex personalities and luggage that unravel through the book’s pages. Light but enjoyable reading.
A great book to make you happy.
Ok read. A lady lawman..or law woman…in the Old West is a little hard to believe. It was inspirational to see ‘Miss Marshall’ grow as she learns how much God loves her despite all her flaws!
It was a really fun read! Delightful!
Easy reading and able to relax with it.
Cute story with a twist!
