Have so much fun with this book! Enjoy!
Just what I wanted this holiday season! A darling book that lifted my spirits and put me in a Christmas mood. Highly recommend!
Such a sweet, fun holiday read!
I love Lucy McConnell’s Marrying Miss Kringle Santa romances. They are so cute and fun and perfect for the Christmas season. Well, all of this author’s books are good any time of the year! I love reading about all the different sisters stories. This series and the covers are just perfection for the holiday season.
This was a really cute, really Christmas-y series that I was happy to discover! Santa Claus has five daughters. There’s something wrong with the Christmas magic. One of the daughters, Ginger, has been gifted with the mark of Christmas, meaning she will inherit her dad’s job one day. Somehow this is tied to love (none of the girls are married) and if she doesn’t get married ASAP, Christmas is in jeopardy (I’m explaining this terribly, but it was super cute in the book.) Fortunately Santa has some guys on the nice list she should check out. Too bad the one guy she seems to have chemistry with (a totally swoon-worthy woodworker taking care of his niece after her mother took off) isn’t on the list. I loved this one with all its cookie baking, sleigh flying and Christmas cheer!
Fun, fun book! I always enjoy Lucy McConnell and this time was no different. What a great getaway from the day to day. Thanks for the fantastic read, Lucy!
I found that Ginger’s mission would be daunting to anyone. Her self-doubt makes it even more difficult for her. A few scenes were a challenge to read due to their emotional impact. Overall, the story is wonderful reading.
I received a copy of this book as a gift from the author. This is my honest review.
This was a different story than I normally read but cute and sweet. I had fun reading it and I loved the spin on the Santa suit. Ginger and Joseph think they know what they’re looking for but when they meet, I can see the sparks. It was just a matter of them letting their hearts guide them.
ONE REFRESHING TREAT
Holy hackles santa! Lucy brings one refreshing spun debacle with this skillfully composed delicacy, ramping up the exuberance and drive, hooking you from the start and reeling you in for the duration, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Rushing head long into daunting situations, rolling with the daring drama, captivating intrigue, intense encounters, deep family secrets and escalating suspense ensue in epic proportions, kicking this jewel to staggering heights. Observing the intimidating trials and challenging triumphs, noting the dramatic twists and intricate turns, crushed limitations and tightly wound restrictions are amplified and explored, baring the explosive up and agonizing downs, breathtaking in it’s simplicity and beautiful in it’s depth, blasting this piece of delight to life brilliantly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such force, baring deeply profound emotions and an undeniable bond, binding them to one another beautifully. complex and genuine with traits and qualities, add depth and diversity, transforming into loveable personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating one vivid backdrop that’s so rich and lively it feels as though you were transported to ground zero with them. Remarkable job Lucy, thanks for sharing this thrilling block buster with us.
A very creative first book in series using the Kringle family and magic of Christmas a backdrop. It has a bit everything ranging from disappointment from hardship and broken dreams to having true heart desires come true all wrapped up in Christmas magic. Ginger and Joseph were wonderful characters-so very different yet so right for each other. The idea of the Kringle family dynasty and its continuation was a fabulous framework for this series. As well, I loved the story setting in the remote North with greater focus on individuals and their connectiveness to their community. Reading about caring interactions and people doing and sharing things they loved was really heart warming. Now I can’t wait to read the next story in series about Lux. I must admit that being open to the concept of the magic of Christmas enhanced my enjoyment of this story. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
