Single mom Maura Callahan never anticipated that at age 29 she’d be living with her mom in the suburbs, raising her young daughter, Chloe, and working a job that pays the bills but not much else. Her daughter is worth the struggle– and she still has her best friend Aidan, who makes her laugh, keeps her on her toes, and provides the oh-so-toned shoulder to cry on when necessary.Aidan McKinnon, … McKinnon, exec at a high profile social media company in the heart of Dublin, has longed to change his bestie status with Maura for years, but it seems Maura’s relegated him permanently to the friend zone. Still, she and Chloe are his world. But when Chloe’s father shows up out of the blue and demands shared custody when he’s never once met the little girl, Aidan sees a way to finally have what he secretly wants most while ensuring Maura and Chloe’s safety… and the diamond ring is just the beginning.
Will Aidan’s fiercely protective, knight in shining armor proposal of convenience end up starting the love of a lifetime?

Loved this HEA of friends to lovers. At times you worry that the two main characters are not going to make it. But in the end they surprise you!
I really enjoyed this book I could not put it down
The characters were great and so was the storyline. This was a book that was so very realistic. Great read!!
Mindless summer read with a happy ending
It was an easy read and fun. Not a favorite. I prefer a little less of the bedroom stuff, but it was fun to see the relationship bloom from best friends to more. I did love the relationship they had and the protectiveness in their situations. It was a fun read.
Liked this book a lot
Sweet story, shows that in books as well as life, a mom will do anything to protect her child, and this time it turned out just right.
Sweet story but could have been longer which would have been better.
Good read!
Great story and amusing at times
If I could give this book a “0” I would. I got a short way in and put it down then deleted from my kindle. Poor writing, poor language. I am learning to trash books early on when the author feels there is a need to be crude in order to be sexy. Just a turn off
