Single mom Maura Callahan never anticipated that at age 29 she’d be living with her mom in the suburbs, raising her young daughter, Chloe, and working a job that pays the bills but not much else. Her daughter is worth the struggle– and she still has her best friend Aidan, who makes her laugh, keeps her on her toes, and provides the oh-so-toned shoulder to cry on when necessary.Aidan McKinnon, … McKinnon, exec at a high profile social media company in the heart of Dublin, has longed to change his bestie status with Maura for years, but it seems Maura’s relegated him permanently to the friend zone. Still, she and Chloe are his world. But when Chloe’s father shows up out of the blue and demands shared custody when he’s never once met the little girl, Aidan sees a way to finally have what he secretly wants most while ensuring Maura and Chloe’s safety… and the diamond ring is just the beginning.
Will Aidan’s fiercely protective, knight in shining armor proposal of convenience end up starting the love of a lifetime?

I looooovveeeedddd this book. I would say it’s one of my favorite love stories that I have read this year. I think story line was great and i could so see this happening in real life. its a must read!
I loved that this book was set in Ireland, because I just found out that I am 35% Irish. Great story where two best friends find love. Wish there were more!
Fascinating book, with a lovely story line. The characters’ Irish dialogue, along with the author’s depiction of the local scenery, was incredibly interesting and cute.
Enjoyed it quite a lot. It was a somewhat different twist on an old plot.
Short review. Sweet romance story about two friends falling in love and the bumps the face along the way as their relationship goes from friends to being in a relationship.
Great book
What a novel idea!!!
This is a great story about friends who turn into life long partners. The characters were wonderfully written and easy to get to know. This book is part of a series but can be read independently.
Very predictable and not a great building of characters. You knew the ending after the first page.
Dirty language
I want to like the characters, but what’s wrong with them? Her not knowing he loved her and him keeping it hidden for a decade, I don’t think so.
Not totally satisfying.
Not my cup of tea.
It was a great way to spend a summer afternoon. Just a fun, clean book that I very much enjoyed
Aiden and Maura, best friends forever, finally give in to passion and romance. Loved the Irish brogue!
This is a sweet Irish romance. A very simple story. Both leads have real honesty issues… hiding feelings a lot from themselves and each other. However, it took a whole lot more words than needed to tell the story so it often dragged in too much detail.
An enjoyable story about two best friends who discover more is going on between them than they want to admit. Well worth reading.
Love
They have been friends for 10 years. Now he finally wanting to tell her he’s been in love with her the whole time. Her ex & her daughters father shows up. In Ireland they can marry & protect Chloe. But its more.
Best friends find love.
I found this book annoying the characters kept going over and over the same ground. The story didn’t feel as if it made any headway. I stopped reading it. This book wasn’t for me.
A good read with likable characters.
