I received an ARC of this book and offered to share my thoughts on it. I thought it was a great well written book with wonderful characters and a fun sweet romantic plot. I read it easily and it stuck with me after, so a successful book in my opinion. I would recommend this to any lover of romance.

A delightful, family-friendly, four-hour read. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
This story says something that I always suspected about shows like the Bachelor. The shows are scripted until the unexpected happens. What happens between Cassandra and Jonathan, doesn’t happen in real life and if it does it’s because the girl is just plain naive. The story is harsh at parts, but then Cassandra finally gets a dose of reality. I find Jonathan a fake character from the start, and never liked him. It’s hard to like someone that arrogant and so willing to do something so wrong as to fix the show as to who the winner is.

She goes into a reality show to show her talent of a dancer and not for love. He is doing the show to find himself and even marry but not to find love. Then they meet. What will happen between them? Can they find love? What about his secrets? See what will happen

A very entertaining well written short, clean romance. Cassie in order to try and further her dancing carreer she auditions for a reality tv show to marry a country superstar. A good story and made for an entertaining read when the show is already scripted. What does Cassie do? I loved the HEA.

I totally adored Cassandra (Cassie) St. Clair, the heroine of Emma Evans’ Marrying a Country Star (Marrying Nashville Book 1). She was wonderfully true to herself, and her sense of morality and decency, yet totally genuine at the same time. I aim to be that kind of person but suspect that Cassie has more spine than me. Add her to her perfect match in Jonathan Charles, who turns out to be a decent guy and really just the perfect match for Cassie. Add some TV set tension, some great appearances by Jonathan’s siblings, and characters that surprise you at times. The result is one heck of a wonderful novel. Read the blurb for a summary of the plot, but know that the book is actually much more fun than even what’s implied in that summary. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises – the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the Marrying Nashville series.
This was a short, clean romance. It was a good story and I enjoyed it. I did feel like they fell in love kinda quickly but I loved the ending

The first book in the Marrying Nashville and I know I want to read the next one. Cassandra St. Clair and Jonathan Charles meet on a reality TV show called To Win In Love. I found myself smiling through this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is amusing, interesting and entertaining. Take a guy with a blase attitude, add a woman who not only sticks up for herself but for other women, and you get two people who will slowly show who and what they are, and fall in love. The storyline has the usual reality show issues, meanness, claws and fake crap, but it’s so much better than an actual tv show, because the warmth and caring certain characters have shines through. I really enjoyed this book, and I’m not really a fan of reality tv.

“To Win in Love” was a new and upcoming reality TV show, and when Cassandra St. Clair saw the open casting call, she immediately applied. She made the first cut and now looked out the limo’s window as the Briarwood Estates came into view. She was ushered off to have the hair and makeup crew prepare her for the camera. Then she was told to read the teleprompter, where she found words that were totally not her style, nothing that she would ever say. But she was a dancer and wanted this only for the exposure it would give her, so she read the mean-girl words. Then she read through it again, seductive, sassy, and confident. She would rather be sweet and innocent, but that’s not what the producer wanted.
Finally it was time to meet downstairs and join the other women to meet the mystery man they were competing for. Although Cassandra had no idea who country music star Jonathan Charles was, she was impressed at his handsome face and muscled body. At the end of the series, one of them would end up marrying him! But Jonathan is only in this for the fun and has no concern over whether the marriage fails or not. Will these two get what they want from the show, amid all the faked scripting that never lets anyone see the real person inside? Will they ever get to know the real person and find worth in each other?
I found this behind-the-scenes look at reality TV to be very amusing. I never watch this type of show for the precise reason that I know it’s faked. But by giving us a look at the fake while also letting us get to know the real characters underneath, you find yourself caring about them and wanting it to be real. In my opinion, that very good writing to draw a reader in that way despite the “fake reality” mindset that is expected. The story line is good. With neither character caring if they won or not, and the TV scripting keeping real feelings away, we have a third scenario where just maybe two people can find each other and their dreams.
This story line was different from any I have read. Hated the reality show and how they manipulated people. Loved the HEA

When Cassandra auditioned for a reality TV show, she didn’t think she would be one of the contestants. Next thing you know, she is in Nashville competing with four other girls to become the wife of country music star Jonathan Charles. How did she manage to fall in love with Jonathan, and was his love real or just as fake as the reality TV show?
