In the Bone there is a house.
In the house there is a girl.
In the girl there is a darkness.
Margo is not like other girls. She lives in a derelict neighborhood called the Bone, in a cursed house, with her cursed mother, who hasn’t spoken to her in over two years. She lives her days feeling invisible. It’s not until she develops a friendship with her wheelchair-bound neighbor, Judah Grant, … neighbor, Judah Grant, that things begin to change. When neighborhood girl, seven-year-old Neveah Anthony, goes missing, Judah sets out to help Margo uncover what happened to her.
What Margo finds changes her, and with a new perspective on life, she’s determined to find evil and punish it–targeting rapists and child molesters, one by one.
But hunting evil is dangerous, and Margo risks losing everything, including her own soul.

One of my favorites from Tarryn Fisher. Highly recommended.
This books just makes me go hmmmmmm… I’m not sure how to feel about it. The beginning was good and then about 3/4 in it throws a twist and I was like ok what the crap is happening so I rush to finish but that ending was just ok. Not quite the way I thought it would end. If I’m being honest this whole book was a surprise and didn’t lead anywhere …
Don’t ever go into a Tarryn Fisher book and expect the last line to be “…and they all lived happily ever after!” Because A. You will be disappointed and B. This book is not for you. What you can expect to finish saying is “WTAF have I just read??!”
Without giving to much of the plot away its really difficult to review this book. I loved the …

“The bone is in our marrow. It’s complacency and fear handed down from generation to generation.”
“How do you fix Evil?”
This is the first book I bought in paperback before reading it in ebook format. I normally read all my books in ebook and if I love the book I purchase it in paperback to add to my collection. Let me tell you that I don’t …
I heard about Tarryn Fisher in Colleen Hoover’s CoHorts group and everyone raves about how amazing her books are. I felt like this book had a very slow start and I kept waiting for it to pick up. It did pick up a little bit, but I still contemplated putting it down and labeling it as a DNF several times throughout the book. This was a very twisty …
