Jane was taken prisoner and then traded to the Alliance Empire She is forbidden from seeing her human family unless she marries an Alliance man and has a hybrid child.
She refuses to marry as she still grieves for the separation from her family on Earth. That is until Jim messages her that her best friend has moved in with her family.
To ease the pain, she agrees to an Alliance telepathic … to an Alliance telepathic medical procedure that suppresses her emotional attachment to Jim. The Alliance doctors caution her that she should be mindful of her choices, as suppressing so much of her memory could lead her to make new choices she might regret when her memories resurface. Unfortunately, Jane does not heed their warnings and behaves in ways she would have never done before. She even begins a torrid love affair with the Alliance Admiral of the Fleet. A man who is over 200 years old.
Follow Jane in her strange experiences onboard the Zuin and then the Kzi in the mighty Alliance Fleet. This book begins on the same day as Drusilla’s marriage to Ket. Although you can jump in the Renascence Alliance Series at any point, to avoid confusion, it’s highly recommended you read Married to the Alien Admiral, Renascence Book 1 or Married to the Alien Doctor, Renascence Book 2 before reading Married to the Alien Admiral of the Fleet, Renascence Book 4
The Alliance Series is set in a fictional future where humans are small-time players in the big-time galaxy. There are no heroes or women being rescued; instead, readers are led through an intricate maze of alien courting customs, duplicitous strict religious codes, vicious culture shock, and uncomfortable compromises.

I really enjoyed this book, the story was exciting and kept me hooked to the end, however I did find the FMC Jane to be overly stubborn and the admiral Jay had endless patience with her. I really liked the Gods meddling and can’t wait to see what the get up to next! I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite books in Alma Nilsson’s series. I love that Jane is confronted with a choice, to take a drug to make her forget her past for a while or to live through the terribleness of it. She chooses the former and what ensues is a whirlwind of what-ifs. Ms. Nilsson explores the other side of Jane’s personality, the woman she might have been if she hadn’t married her high school sweetheart and had four children. The woman she might have been had she not had to live on Earth but if she had been able to follow her other desires out in the galaxy. As for most of Ms. Nilsson’s books, this is not for the faint of heart. It’s just as steamy as it is challenging and I have to admit it, this book made me cry at the end. I’m looking forward to how this series continues. Obviously, Abducted by the Alien Pirate is an out, kind of like the way JR was brought back to life in the ’80’s TV show Dallas which was so popular in Sweden and no doubt is on her mind as some kind of inspiration.
Creative and different alien book
This series has creative world building and plotting and interesting characters. The rules and structure of the Alliance society are very different than the humans are used to which causes many issues and much confusion between the Alliance and human characters. Jei and Jane are older, with much more life experience, which makes them different than any of the other main characters I’ve seen in the series.
The overall plot makes it unlikely that the books should stand alone but should be read in order. Many of the previous characters are in this book. Some of the books are taking place concurrently.
I received this as an ARC and chose to review it.
Jane was taken prisoner with the other humans from the Dakota. She and the other women were sent to the Alliance to be assimilated into their culture to have children with their men. There is so much that Jane has lost but this story was so good and the characters were interesting. I was sorry to finish the book as it kept you interested to the last page. Looking forward to the next book. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a love story, but not one with a happy ending.

This is a love story, but not one with a happy ending. Jane was the head of House Human, an engineer and an officer in their space fleet of ships. She became the lover of the Admiral Jei of the Alliance fleet. She was tormented between her love for her human husband who she would never see again and the love she felt for Jei. This was a dark story that left me stunned after reading the final page. This book was beautifully written, the characters full of real emotions and the story set in a world full of color and emotion. This book is part of a series that will continue.
