Of “Treading Water,” reviewers said:
“Treading Water is a definite must read! Treading Water creates an emotional firestorm within the reader. It shines the light on the good and the bad in life and proves that one moment can change everything and it’s never too late to find love. Marie Force grabbed my heart and squeezed every ounce of emotion out of it but most importantly her monumental story left me blissful. Treading Water may be fiction but it gives me hope; hope in everyday people and happily ever after. I cannot wait for the next book in this trilogy, Marking Time.” —Joyfully Reviewed, a “Recommended Read” for November!
“This isn’t your typical romance where you’re positive you’re going to get the happy ending you were hoping for at the beginning. It will rip your heart out at times and having you weeping for joy at others. A stunning story about learning to love again and learning when to let go to those you love.” —Night Owl Reviews, Reviewer Top Pick

An improbable situation turns out to be the next best thing!
So good it made me want to continue reading the other stories
Thought provoking and sensitive.
I loved this book and the entire series. Got to know all the characters and felt like part of this amazing family.
I love anything written by Marie Force! All of her stories are captivating and romantic!!
I just finished the whole 4 book series. This is book 2 in the Treading Water series. It’s one of the best series I’ve EVER read! I’m blown away by the fact that this was some of her FIRST writing! If you have or haven’t read Marie Force I HIGHLY recommend this series. You won’t be disappointed.
Really enjoyed the characters.
Good read
Loved the fact Clare got her happy -ever-after
Wonderful! Realistic!
Nice twists – although, somewhat unrealistic (two “Mr. Wonderfuls”?)
trite
Couldn’t finish
The pacing and story were both well done. Not too much circling, just straight-forward storytelling.
Good for romantics.
Marie Force writes compelling stories..This one tells the story of a woman who has to rebuild her life, maintain good relationship with her ex husband, whom she has lost and still loves, and find her strength. Very inspirational!
This book is the last in a series that I totally enjoyed. The characters were realistic and went through many emotional issues.
Great writing and great characters.
Loved the book. Did not expect the love age gap or the ending. Another author I had not read but will be looking for more.
