Talan Cox wants to mark Maya—with more than his ink.The owner of a prominent tattoo shop, he’s used to being hit on by easy women. Though “easy” is not a word associated with Maya when she comes in to support her friend. Flirtation ensues, but what will it take to break the painted man?
The plot is great and very well written. I loved the characters and the fact that they went through a whole flirtatious time before getting too close and serious! The receptionist adds a great dynamic to the story-line and helps to keep it interesting and moving along. The chemistry between Maya and Talon is obvious and very well written. Loved reading this book.
Wow, an amazing read! When I started reading I could not stop, got to the end wanting more. The chemistry between Talan and Maya is off the charts. It is a well written fast pace page turner; the plot is consistent, relatable, and well-developed. Lots of drama, ups and downs, witty banter, laughter, and intrigue are some of what you can expect in this amazing book! I cannot wait to read the next book.

Great read, and sweet start to the series
I like this read for few reasons. First was that was unusual that the whole story was presented from the hero point of view and it was delivered very smoothly and from his narration I could also better get to know Maya and other people who surrounds them. Shame we couldn’t see and fully experienced Maya’s feelings but it didn’t impact my very good experience while reading this story. Second that there is not much drama involved and for me there is no angst in the plot. I enjoyed also the possessive hero and sassy heroine and was glad to see their relationship evolved. I guess this level of possessiveness and jealousy will bring them trouble on more then one occasion in the future but every relationship needs to have its struggles. For me it was sweet story, a very good opening to the series. I can’t wait to read next parts of their story and see what is awaiting them in next phase of their relationship.
Talon is a talented tattoo artist who just so happens to be working on Maya’s best friend which is how they met. Talon is captivated by her right from the beginning which makes his receptionist quite angry. When his interest in Maya became obvious his problems began because one night with Janice has sparked an obsession for her. The closer Talon becomes to Maya the more out of control Janice becomes. Will Talon be able to keep Maya safe?

WOW! I have got to say, this is a new author for me and the blurb for this book just intrigued me. I was not disappointed until I got to the end and realized it was the end. Damn! I can not believe how fast I read this book. I was so engrossed with this story right from the start. At first I wasn’t sure how this was going to go with Maya and Talon but I was seated and belted in for the ride once it got going. What an exciting ride and good news, it is not over yet. Beware that it is not exactly a cliffhanger ending but it is not the complete story of these two great characters and their HEA either. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for all the characters – Janice – what trouble is she going to stir up? Can Talon do relationships? What will happen with Maya and Talon?

Sooooo HAWT!!!!! This is a whirlwind of hot, sass, and tatts!!! We start by meeting our painted man, Talan. He is the owner of a tattoo shop and is constantly being hit on by easy women that he could take home at any time he wants. He is smitten by Maya, a girl who comes into the shop for support for a friend that is getting tatted. Maya is a small girl but takes no crap from anyone. She is witty and he is immediately pulled in by her and she by him. It’s sort of an insta-love type situation but with so much more! The wit and banter between all the characters is hilarious and keeps the story going. So full of angst and of course we have a crazy ex!!! While the two of them are trying to figure out exactly what they are doing “together” they are both trying to reign in their feelings. She wants to go for it and he wants to go slow. But eventually the zero to sixty happens! One of my favorite lines…. “I have no words for the madness you create inside of me.” This was a fast and intense read that made me dive right into Marking Him, the second book in the series, right away! Loving me some Talan and Bitty!!!
This is for a book set
This is a great collection. The books are about Talan and Maya, how they met and the relationship that follows. Talan seems a bit controlling but that is because of Janice. Janice is crazy and is out for revenge and Maya seems to be caught up in the drama. These books are a collection for continuing stories. They should be read in order and this is a wonderful collection. This will keep you interested until the very end.

Talk about sexual frustration! Omg! I was getting frustrated with the both of them lol! Talan is a very well known tattoo artist who owns a shop, with a good bit of ladies that like him, but he’s always been into one night stand type deals. Not one for relationships. Until a young little dark haired woman Maya walks in with her friend Esther a client of Talons. Right away he has a nickname ” bitty” for her and it sticks. The two hit it off right away, and Talan wants his mark on her as soon as possible. His receptionist a jealous one night stand that has issues of her own has a problem with it, and Talan sees Bitty is a feisty little thing that he’s going to have his hands full with. Between this new feelings of possessive and jealousy that Talan is feeling, and Maya not sure just where she fits in , this is definitely a handful !
