This has to be a joke… there’s one thing my three sexy guys and I are good at, it’s escaping death.
MARKED IMMORTALS is a reverse harem romance set in the shared world Paranormal Prison. It’s steamy, humorous, and has just the right amount of an edge. So come join an amazing group of authors in Nightmare Penitentiary, a place you’ll never want to escape from. (Also, this is the second book following this heroine and her men, but it released as Book 8 in the Paranormal Prison shared world. The books in this shared world can be read in any order, but you’ll want to read Wraith Captive before this book.)

After escaping the prison, Eizabeth and her men have been thrown into something much worse. Tested and tortured, they have to use all their wits and strength to survive, not only the tests but also the competition. When they meet Storm, a lone wolf called the Ghost who survived the underground for a long time, the dynamics in the group change – mostly because of Elizabeth’s attraction to the mysterious man, and the others’ jealousy. But in the end, his experience and added powers might be exactly the advantage they need to overcome all obstacles..
Adventurous, sexy, and full of tension, so was this fast-pacing second book in Elizabeth’s story. As more information about the characters surface, the connection between them (and the reader) deepens, strengthening the reading experience. I enjoyed the various twists and turns, and wanted to punch someone in the end, but I made up my mind and got yet more determined to see the outcome of this new turn of development.
Marked Immortals: A Reverse Harem Romance (Paranormal Prison: Dark Supernaturals Book 2) by Lacey Carter Andersen this is a must read series. This is book number two in this OMG must read series that I am so hooked on and am sitting at the edge of my chair waiting for the next book. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading reverse harem and paranormal romances.
I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
I didn’t want to put it down this great paranormal romance story full of great characters and action. This is a great addition to this series.
I received an ARC copy of this book and I am voluntarily giving an honest review
This book carries on from where the other one left off.
Elizabeth and her men are back. This book caught me from the first page to the last.
I love these prison setting stories there’s so many twists and turns in them to keep the reader entertained.
Marked Immortals was a great followup from book one. As with the first one it was pretty intense and I found myself not being able to stop reading until the end. I needed to know what was going to happen next, like yesterday.
Not to give too much away but I will say that the team is someplace new, and it is not a nice place. They are tasked to compete against other teams. But this is where we meet Ghost. Hell yes this is what Elizabeth needs. But is it really?
So as with a Lacey book you get action, fast pace, amazing characters and a interesting plot. This series is no different.
There is no escape, at least not for Elizabeth, Blade, Ax, Gabriel and Storm. From page one we are sucked back in to the horror of Nightmare Penitentiary. More twists, more turns, more depths, more depravity. More spine-tingling terror and lust. Lacy Carter Andersen shows us once again that she is the rightful ruler of RH hellacious heaven! And once you think it’s safe, you better start rethinking because the darkness holds more lying in wait.
Imagine going through one hell and finding yourself in another every time you turn around. Elizabeth and her men will face this over and over. Is there a reason or even an end? They will do anything to protect each other and that may be the only thing that will keep them alive. The story brings plenty of death and fighting. Who is innocent, who or what is dangerous and can anyone be trusted? And also expect some heat with Elizabeth and her hot men.
Another amazing book! I love this author and can’t wait for more. This author just has a way with words.
What the main character, Elizabeth, goes through is wild. I recommend this book. The author did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I give it five stars.
I saw the word wicked in another review and I knew I had to use it also. Marked Immortals was Wicked and exciting and shocking and nonstop fun. I loved these characters and this prison world. I cant wait for the next one.
A brilliant read. It’s grips you from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go the whole way through. Thinking that they were free at the end of the last book things don’t plan out that way at the start of this one. Elizabeth (FMC), Ax, Gabriel and Blade are thrown into a more dangerous place than before. Having to play a vicious game just to stay alive. Finding a shifter – Storm who has been there along time but wants to help them out. One hell of a read and that ending was knockout!! I can’t wait for the next book now
Marked Immortals is book two of the Paranormal Prison Dark Supernaturals series and it picks up where book one left off. There’s a lot going on in this book as Elizabeth and the guys are once again in danger, a suspicious character joins the story and so much more happens in this book. The writing is great, the story flows smoothly and is action packed and held my attention from the first page until the last.
This was an amazing sequel to a blinding first in a series!
The prison within a prison was a complete curveball and honestly marks it as one of the best things I have read this year.
The plot is fast-paced and action-packed in both fighting action to the steamy scenes we all love.
The introduction of a new male (who is now my favourite) was a great move as the novel wouldn’t work without him (and no, this isn’t because I’m biased lol).
Another dive off of the cliff for me as I reached the end before I was ready. Next book when? aha
I am buzzing for the next novel after recovering from my book-induced hangover, and cannot wait to see where this plot goes.
Book two came with a bunch of new elements and even more questions.
I am really enjoying these characters and am exciting to learn morabout ech of them, especially Storm.
Also, can I just say the steam is full blast once again. There are lots of tenderand heated moments with all the guys in book two.
I need more
Just wow, this book was amazing. The twists and turns in this book had me devouring it all at once.I think this series is just getting better and better, as is the hotness between Elizabeth and her men. And what an ending, i really need book 3 now
This is a very engaging second book with a fast pace. This is an exciting read with danger, action and steam. The twists kept me reading and after that ending I can’t wait for the next.
Even though I’m not a huge fan of Prison settings, I really enjoyed the first book in this series and I was therefore quite curious to read the second book. I was a little afraid that maybe the second book might become too much of a repeat of the first book, but since Andersen has never really disappointed me so far I had high hopes that she would manage to surprised me in a positive way and that she would make sure I wouldn’t lose interest.
This book must be the definition of action packed. From the second the book starts we are thrown into the middle of the action and both we and the characters barely get time to breath. So much is happening! There is so much danger around the corner and there are so few moments to just enjoy some calm and rest. And each of the challenges were all really thrilling and almost addictive. Once I started reading I just had to read on to find out what would happen next.
However, that doesn’t meant that the characters don’t bond or talk anymore. There are a few moments where the characters having really meaningful and wonderful conversations and I love how we learn so many new things about all the characters we’ve grown to love in the first book. I also instantly fell for the new addition to the harem. He really fits in nicely and I love how different from the others Storm is!
But, the true story only starts now! I was already hoping that the first two books would eventually lead somewhere and even though we’re still missing quite a few pieces of the puzzle, it’s quite clear now that there is a bigger picture and that the stakes will be even higher in the last book. I’m really excited to see more of the world outside the prison walls and to finally get answers to why all of this has been happening in the first place. I deserve those. The characters deserve those even more.
As reverse harem storylines goes this one hits the spot plus the added twists makes this one a must read. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline kept me entertained.
