This has to be a joke… there’s one thing my three sexy guys and I are good at, it’s escaping death.
MARKED IMMORTALS is a reverse harem romance set in the shared world Paranormal Prison. It’s steamy, humorous, and has just the right amount of an edge. So come join an amazing group of authors in Nightmare Penitentiary, a place you’ll never want to escape from. (Also, this is the second book following this heroine and her men, but it released as Book 8 in the Paranormal Prison shared world. The books in this shared world can be read in any order, but you’ll want to read Wraith Captive before this book.)

This one was a ride! After ‘escaping’ the prison in book 1, these characters found themselves back inside, undergoing rigorous challenges against groups of other supernaturals, not knowing what awaited them at the end, only that they’d still be alive.
This was an action-packed adventure and was a fun read. As always there’s a twist at the end, and with one book left, anything could happen.
Loved this series. Elizabeth and her men are all imprisoned on false charges. The warden is sick and twisted and not the only one out to make sure they die. Lots of plot twists and some very interesting supernaturals in this book.
Fast paced and action packed, this book had me hooked from the start and hanging on every word, it flowed seamlessly from the first book, and kept the intrigue and steamy romance constant. Plenty of great plot twists to keep it interesting, and new characters to love and hate. Great narration from Genevievi Ash, I love this series and can’t wait til book 3 is available on audiobook. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
The action continues in this second book in the series.
Elizabeth discovers more and more about herself and her abilities all the while she strives to survive with her chosen men.
Looking forward to the final book!
This is a decidedly dark and heavy series full of violence, pain, death, betrayal, but also unbreakable friendship and fated mate bonds. It’s not for the squeamish or faint of heart.
The second book in the series continues the adventures from Wraith Captive: A Reverse Harem Romance (Paranormal Prison: Dark Supernaturals Book 1) of Elizabeth, Gabriel, Ax, and Blade after their escape and immediate recapture from Nightmare Penitentiary. They are out of the frying pan and into the fire, in an even more dangerous part of the Penitentiary, competing with other groups and lethal hazards to survive. They are befriended by Storm, a wolf shifter, who’s survived here a long time. He joins them as he feels an attraction to Elizabeth. After many more deadly trials full of violence, pain, blood, and death, the other groups are all dead as Elizabeth’s group walks toward the final door. What they find on the other side ends the book in a cliffhanger.
An amazing second book. It has so much action and drama with mystery and suspense throughout it. I loved the new characters and what they added to the story. It drew me in and didn’t let me put it down. It is extremely well written and the further development of Elizabeth and her guys shows just how strong they are in a short time. It begins where it leaves off in the first book and it is non-stop action from the beginning to the end. It ends in a major cliffhanger that has greatly anticipating the next book. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Having overcome one major hurdle, our heroine and her guys are faced with new challenges. This is going to help with her anger management issues.
This is book two of the series. It does pretty well as a standalone as all the essential bits are explained early on.
This is a paranormal romance with a reverse harem theme. Like all the previous books by this author which I have read, the story is well written and easy to read. The story takes place in a shared world setting which is richly developed and has lots of intriguing aspects to explore. The characters are also well developed, all with distinct personalities which blend together in interesting ways. The plot is fast paced and has a lot of twists and turns to it which made it very engaging and hard to put down. We also get a nice bit of steam along the way, but like the last book, it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so keep that in mind. Overall, a highly enjoyable story.
Highly recommended.

The second book in this authors series in the paranormal prison world and is way better than I had imagined it would be. After reading the first one about the characters I could not wait for this and it really did not disappoint at all. Just really so good.
The sequel was so much better than the first! This book had a ton of action, danger, angst, and steam. I loved the new setting that they were in and that the mystery continued to expand and secrets were revealed. This is probably one of the most action packed stories by Lacey that I’ve read and I hope she continues to keep this much action in her other books as well!
I love that the guys and Elizabeth continue opening up and trusting one another. Storm, also known as Ghost, is my favorite character in this one. I loved what he was, his abilities, and that he was willing to ignore what he learned to do to survive for Elizabeth. Lacey brought in some new creatures, such as Flesh Eaters, Adaros’, and Spider Rocks which I found amazing and terrifying at the same time.
I liked the new characters, supernaturals, and obstacles that the main characters faced. I enjoyed the Maze Runner vibe that this book had and it really kept me on my toes. I was expecting more of a sinister reasoning behind the warden, but I still want to see how this ends for Elizabeth and her guys.

I was having heart palpitations throughout this book. There is something happening the whole way through. My eyes were glued and I had several very late nights because I didn’t want to put this story down. This was the second book and boy was it a wild ride. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. The ending of this one created more questions and I’m dying to find out.
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
Be prepared to go on an amazing rollercoaster ride as you become immersed in this intriguing action packed and steamy adventure. This author sure knows how to weave a story and keep you turning those pages. Love the characters, love the plot, and love the way I became totally involved in the story. Looking forward to reading more about this group and their lives.
Marked Immortals continues Lacey Carter Andersen’s Dark Supernaturals series. Elizabeth and her men managed to briefly escape the prison after a terrifying night of fighting for survival. Now, they awake to find themselves back in prison, but it’s the same prison and things have gone from bad…to worse. Now it’s a sinister game of “survival of the fittest.” A new man will join their ranks and maybe…just maybe they’ll be able to come out of this alive.
Marked Immortals is an improvement on book one and is a genuine page-turner. Elizabeth, I’m happy to say, seems to have a bit more sense in this installment. I find her a bit less irritating and that honor instead goes to Blade and Gabriel. The new character, Ghost, adds a really interesting element to the story. He’s a shifter and I like how the author writes him into the story. He’s been through a lot like the rest of them and the author utilizes him well to help them all. I like how we get another nice variety of characters and supernatural beings in this book as well. I have to admit that the demons really fascinated me.
The drawbacks for me with this book are Blade and Gabriel. I feel that they are just trying too hard and their insecurities shine the brightest out of all of them when they meet Storm aka Ghost. Gabriel I can understand to an extent since the author writes him as the “alpha” of the group, but when Blade wants to pull a power play with Storm, for me, it doesn’t play out well. I view it more as him showing just how insecure he truly is to think he needs to compete with Storm simply because Storm is full-blooded and he’s not.
This book was really good all in all and I like the suspense that the author builds with this book. I was kept engaged throughout and eager to learn what was going to happen next. I am rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’m taking off half a star for the guys wanting to be so insecure and ego tripping. I felt that it was a bit overdone and a bit unnecessary. If you are a fan of this author and enjoy unique storylines then I encourage you to pick this book up.
Loving this story even though it’s a prison setting of which I’m not particularly a fan of. It is book 2 in a series so reading book 1 is a must since not stand alone. This book picks up where book 1 left off. It’s packed with lots of action and a lot going on which makes this such a fantastic read! You need a lot of skils to survive but does Elizabeth have what it takes? Some allies along the way help out so that is a plus! Can’t wait for the next.
Wow, book two is one hell of a ride, action packed with lots of twists and turns, from the start you are hooked that you just got to keep reading to find out where it’s going to take you, can’t wait for the next book to come out to see what happens next.
Really enjoyed reading this one. It had my attention from the very beginning. I’m a huge fan of RH books and this one didn’t disappoint. It was exciting and dramatic and suspenseful. My favorite book by this author so far. Can hardly wait to read more.
I really am enjoying this series. A group of tested prisoners are headed into the next set of dangers, meeting a new ally in unlikely places.
It’s light yet dark, sweet yet intense. I made the mistake of starting to read at 11:00 at night and read the whole thing. The twist ending, I cannot wait for book three. **Cliffhanger warning**
This is one action packed book! The characters are wonderful, well written and full of secrets I loved discovering as I read on. The plot is non stop, and the story is so well plotted. I can’t wait for the conclusion to this series. It’s been one of my favorites in recent months to read.
Great read! I recently found this author and she has fast become one of my favorites. I love her writing style and I cant get enough. She hooks you in and doesnt let up for the whole book. I picked this up without reading the first, but was quickly caught up and this is so action packed! I cant wait to see whats in store for her and her guys next!
I am a huge fan of this author so I was excited to read this new addition to this series. We catch up with Elizabeth and her guys just after they are thrown I to basically another prison after escaping in book one. What they don’t know yet is that there ate four other groups there as well and they will be forced to co.Pete against them all with survival being the top priority. An added bonus is Storm a lone shifter that has been trapped there for quite some always making it to the end as the lone survivor. Drawn to Elizabeth he helps them out with some secrets. Quite a few surprises along the way, plenty of steam scenes, and one doozy of a cliff hanger ending. I cannot wait for book three! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
I loved this! It’s fast paced and action packed from the get go and one hell of a rollercoaster ride that you will not want to end! I love the twisted storyline and the intriguing characters, the battles they all must face and the betrayal. I found myself once again on the edge of my seat holding my breathe and that ending!!!! OMG!
