Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 6)
By Amy McKinley
5 out of 5 stars
The story Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 6) by Amy McKinley is a romantic suspense book. It is the next amazing book in an awesome series that I love reading. It pulls you in right from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. The story has action, danger, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Keegan Hunt and Kara Median. Keegan is part of a team sent on a mission to Venezuela. Even though he has spent years avoiding the country, he hopes for a quick mission and easy return. Then he finds the one person who haunts his dreams, Kara. Kara is part of a team sent on a mission with almost the same objective. She also finds herself face to face with the one man who she can’t deny an attraction to. With their mission shifting, can Keegan rely on Kara for help? What does the future hold for Kara and Keegan? Will they make it out of Venezuela alive? Read this book to find out. This story is a page-turner that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. The sparks/chemistry between Keegan and Kara make the temperature in the room rise. I love that the other characters have been brought forward from the previous books and it feels like you are reconnecting with friends. The story is thrilling, suspenseful, and when I get to the last page I always wishing for a few more chapters. This is a story and series I would highly recommend reading.
This was a good read. I enjoyed the action and how kick butt the characters were. I did have a hard time following the story line. For me it felt disjointed and that I was missing a lot of background information. I felt like I was dropped into the middle of the story, instead of the beginning of the story. It might be due to the fact that I hadn’t read the other books in the series or it was just the writing that left me confused. The flow was just off.
Keegan and Kara led different and difficult childhoods when they met. In later years their attraction was still there. Now he was being asked to help save her child. She has secrets. He’s keeping secrets from his team. Through the past mixing with the present and placing them in danger Keegan and Kara are on an intriguing and exciting dangerous road towards their HEA.

Keegan and Kara have a history which is one of the reasons he hasn’t went anywhere near where she could be. However his next mission takes him right to her and his world explodes when he learns some things he never expected. Kara’s life has never really been her own and she is trying to get out from under her father. With all the secrets she let from Keegan will it keep him from helping her? Will the team finish their mission? Can Kara and Keegan get their second chance?
This is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Our hero runs into our heroine, a woman he has tried to forget for years, on a mission, but they are on opposite sides. Will events drive an even bigger wedge between them or can they find a common purpose to pull them together?
This is book six of the series, but it is written as a standalone, so no prior reading is required. There are references to characters and things past, but nothing essential to this story.
This is a romantic suspense story with a complex plot with lots of action and intrigue. The story is very well written with complex characters that are well developed and bring the story to life. Both our characters are well developed, smart, and tough just the way I like them. The action is fast paced and non-stop, making it hard to put the book down. Overall, a very addictive and enjoyable story and I hope to see more in this series.
Highly recommended.

Book six in the Gray Ghost series that might be the last book in this series. What a great ending to this series. Former Navy SEAL Keegan Hunt and Kara Medina’s second chance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a series that just gets better with every book that is released in it There is still a ton of suspense and drama all set in the world of the special op soldier and the woman that they fall oh so hard for. If you haven’t started reading this series what are you waiting for get onto it now but be aware it takes off from the first page and never lets go until you turn that last opage
In this latest book we get the story of Keegan Hunt he is former Seal and a member of the grey ghost team and he has had to stay away from Caracas so has not to blow his cover but now he has been sent there on a mission he hope it will be a quick in and out But no such luck instead he runs into the one woman that he has never been able to forget and who is also tied up in his previous memories or Caracas. Kara Medina is also there on a mission and when they overlap they will have to work together if they are all to survive Will her an Keegan have a chance at a future this time You will have to read to see
Very great story at pulling you into the story and holding your attention till the end. There was danger, adventure, action, drama and romance. There characters of Keegan and Kara were very intense. Keegan is part of a team sent in to Venezuela which is a country he’s tried to stay out of. He finds that Kara is part of another team sent in to retrieve the same insect-sized robots. The teams run into each other but will the complication each team hurt the other teams success. Read to find out if Keegan and Kara make it out of the country alive. I was sucked in from the beginning of this because of the suspense and mystery. A job goes haywire and Keegan finds himself face-to-face with Kara after fifteen years. The attraction is undeniable but this time more is at stake. There are some twists and turns that had me on edge and the chemistry between Keegan and Kara had me salivating.

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author, but it won’t be the last. The story line and character work were good. The book had a smooth flow to it. There were a couple of times that I felt like I was missing something since I hadn’t read any of the previous books in the series.

Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel, book 6) by Amy McKinley – Review byMakaela Patterson
This was a good book. Three words to describe this book would be action suspenseful romance. I could easily see this becoming a movie. I think both men and women will enjoy this book. The action scenes in the book were very well written and descriptive. You were on a thriller ride. The storyline was written in the present day with a prospective memory from the character’s past. You might think that would get confusing but it flowed so well and made it more exciting to read. He is always going to complete his mission no matter the cost but can a chance encounter change all of that?

This story is a true suspense that grabs you from the beginning and keeps your interest all the way through the book. Keegan is a former seal with a past, Kara is his long lost love who he finds again in an unexpected way only to discover that it was planned without his knowledge. She asks him to help her with a dangerous situation and during this they reunite. Amy Mckinley is a good author, her books grip you and keep you in the story the whole time. I highly recommend this book.
Keegan left Venezuela many years before and has no desire to go back there. However, when his team is called up for an op, he has no choice. He once left a young girl whom he once cared about greatly. His mission is to get in there, rescue a few Americans and get out as quickly as he can. What he doesn’t expect to find is Kara. The young girl who has turned into an incredible woman.
Kara is set out to do a job that she isn’t thrilled about. Having been tasked with recovering robots she’s in a highly unstable environment. She’s focused on the task at hand. Until she runs into (literally) Keegan, the man she once cared for greatly. Even though it takes her a bit to realize fully who he is, her attraction to him can’t be denied.
From there they have to decide whether to work together for a common goal or watch both of their missions go up in smoke. With many twists, turns and steamy moments, it makes for the perfect binge-worthy read. I loved the characters and their intensity. Once again the author does an incredible job of writing their beautiful love story. Fantastic read!
I love an action romance. And this book has plenty of action! Can be a standalone but its best to be completely caught up from the beginning. In thia book we have Keegan, who has avoided Venezuela-and Kara, for fifteen years. Only, when he returns, he cant avoid her because he ends up having to work with her. Plenty of action, danger, and mystery surround this book. Plenty of heat too!! Will definitely read Amy again!!
I have read a few books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. I absolutely love a military romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the sixth book in the amazing Gray Ghost series. You can read this as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this book as well. I was so excited when I got this book I stopped everything and started to read right away. I got lost in the characters and I could not stop until the end.
Keegan Hunt is a former Navy Seal and he takes his new crew very seriously. He had a very hard childhood but it made him the very tough man he is today. Keegan vowed to never go back to Venezuela but he has no choice but to go back. His next mission is to save four Americans. Keegan is ready to get this job over with but he is completely shocked when his past comes running right back to him. Kara has her own mission but when more information is found out they are better as a team. Keegan still has feelings for Kara but does she feel the same? Will Keegan complete his mission or will he fail to save the woman he loves?
What another brilliant read brought to this already amazing series! Each hook seems to be getting more and more interesting and captivating as we go along! Amy McKinley has a brilliant way of creating amazing storylines that really bring the story to life. It’s a mentally visual read that really makes you believe you are there alongside the characters. This read has action, adventure, danger, suspense & romance. It has amazing chemistry between two characters that you hope to get a HEA. Each time we are brought a story from Amy McKinley we get to follow a character we have previously met in another one of these books, this time we follow the team as they head to a place where member Keegan really doesn’t want to go but what happens when he comes face to face with that reason?! I can’t wait to see who’s story we get to follow next.
Once again Amy has done it knocked it right out of the park with this novel. I have read everyone so far and this is a standalone but I highly recommend reading them in order so you get a full understanding and enjoyment from them! What an excellent storyline I was captivated right from the first chapter I just couldn’t put it down. It has everything your after Romance, thriller, twist and turns, drama suspense and so much more, it will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat. I really can’t wait to read more!!!
Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 6) by Amy McKinley
Keegan isn’t one of the guys that really stood out to me in the previous books so I really wasn’t sure what to expect with his back story. He didn’t disappoint in the least.
Kara was a strong woman both physically and emotionally. She went through a lot starting at a young age and she made herself a strong woman who is more than able to take care of herself.
I wish I was as strong as Kara, at least physically. I’m not emotionally weak nor am I as strong as Kara but I feel like I’m in a good place. The physical strength she has was impressive, though I would never be willing to endure the training she did.
This was a great book to curl up and read this weekend while I was home avoiding everyone and trying to put some space between my family and me.
