Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 6) by Amy McKinley. This author just knows how to keep me coming back for more. Once again I found myself awake way into the night because I couldn’t put it down. This is book 6 and they honestly just keep getting better. The main characters draw you completely into their world and you get lost in the words but it’s ok you’ll enjoy the being lost part. The characters are complex and relatable, I found myself forgetting I was reading because it just came alive right before my eyes. I’m so excited to see where this author takes readers next. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!
I have yet to find a book McKinley has written that I haven’t loved from beginning to end. This book absolutely held me captive from the start. The perfect mixture of action, romance, and suspense, this book absolutely tugged at my heart and mind in the best possible way. I loved reading Keegan and Kara’s journey. Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel, book 6) by Amy McKinley
Marked for Death is the sixth book in the A Gray Ghost series and although they can be read as standalone I highly recommend reading the whole series. I’ve truly enjoyed this entire series and once again I I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. Keegan and Kara, he’s apart of the team sent to Venezuela. He hopes for a easy mission and quick return home. But he finds the one person who has been haunting his dreams. Kara also is part of a team that’s been set with the same objectives . She then finds herself face to face with Keegan. These two definitely have attraction and holy Cow. Will they make it out of Venezuela? What does their future look like? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
This book reminds me of those 80s Jean Claude Van Damme movies. I used to love watching them but now I enjoy reading these action-packed thrillers.
I love that it starts off with suspense as you meet former Navy SEAL Keegan Hunt who has been avoiding Venezuela for 15 long years. The team has to rescue four Americans he’s about to blow his cover as he knows it to return to Caracas.
Kara Medina, Keegan’s nemesis, ambushes his mission to recover insect-sized robots as the battle begins with the special ops team. She soon realizes that Keegan resembles someone from her past who saved her from a dangerous camp. Unable to keep her concentration, the mission went haywire, she realizes she has an attraction to him no matter how much time has passed. Though this is complicated on a higher level, she’s keeping her eyes on the prize.
As the team’s priorities shift, Keegan turns to Kara to succeed. As American politicians’ stakes escalate and goals intertwine, Keegan doesn’t want to leave Kara at all costs even if it sacrifices himself for the love of her.
Marked For Death by Amy McKinley is the sixth book in the Gray Ghost series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although I would definitely recommend reading the whole series!!!
This book is just as explosive as the others. It is action packed and fast paced. I found myself flying through the pages. The characters were just amazing. They had such a chemistry between them.
I honestly do not know how this author keeps producing such amazing, gripping books. This series is just fantastic and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 6) by Amy McKinley
4 of 5 Stars
Having read book 5 in McKinley’s Gray Ghost series, I was looking forward to this one and was not disappointed.
Former Navy SEAL Keegan Hunt comes face to face with a woman from his past and from his dreams whilst on a mission in Venezuela. Kara Medina can’t believe who the man is she encounters whilst infiltrating a special ops mission. The two can’t deny their attraction to each other and when things become dangerous they realise the feelings they had for each other years ago have not diminished. Keegan refuses to leave without Kara even if it means forfeiting his own life.
A romantic suspenseful thriller novel, which had me gripped from page one until the very last word. I loved the new characters and I also liked how some familiar characters from previous books are mentioned in the novel. However it can be read as a standalone story. Full of drama and romance, this novel is a great read. I am now looking forward to the next book in the series!
Marked for Death is the 6th book in the Gray Ghost series by Amy McKinley. I love this series, and while each can be read as a stand alone, you should read them all. The characters overlap, but each couple has their own story that focuses on them and their past. This is Keegan’s story. I’m going to keep the review short, as to not have any spoilers. Keegan has hidden much of his past, in part to try to forget it, and part to protect his new family and team. He hasn’t been to Venezuela in over 15 years, but a rescue mission takes him back. As if fate took over, he crosses paths with Kara, a girl from his past, and the only he has ever loved. Kara always found comfort in Keegan (then Max), and he was her protector. The introduction of Kara and her daughter has thrown a huge monkey wrench in Keegan’s mission. He must find a way to keep her safe, while still completing his mission and keeping his team safe. Which turns out to be easier said than done.
Marked for Death by Amy McKinley is the sixth book in the Gray Ghost series. These can be read as standalone stories but I recommend reading in order. Each has characters which carry over from story to story. This is about Keegan who is on a rescue mission in Venezuela. He has tried to not go to this country and has a past he’d like to forget. His mission is interrupted by Kara who has an overlapping mission but is not there to help him or his crew. The two met before and they quickly remember their past. This has action, adventure, and suspense with lots of romance to keep it steamy. This is a great read to get away for a bit. I also love the familiar faces of the past popping up in the story.
Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 6) by Amy McKinley is another great addition to this series and another prime example of why Amy is such a good writer. While this can be read as a standalone, I strongly suggest that you start reading from the beginning, that way you get all the backstories and get to know the characters and the family of the Gray Ghost team. This new gripping instalment starts with the action, suspense and thrills right from the start and continues throughout. Marked for Death is a romantic suspense story that is full of drama and violence, mystery and intrigue, danger and twists and plenty of palpable emotions that pop off the page. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time whilst devouring page after page just to know what was happening.
You can never go wrong when getting a book written by Amy, so get started today.
This is the sixth book in this series, I loved it just as much as the previous books. This can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading the entire series as they are that good. This is a well developed story that is creative. The author’s attention to detail made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. Keegan and Kara make the story engaging and kept me turning pages. The secondary characters are supportive and just as engaging. Keegan and his team were hired to rescue Americans when they came across Kara. Kara realizes that they are on a similar mission but will happen when she realizes that she knows Keegan? What will she do when she finds that her feelings for him haven’t left? What will happen to their mission? They are my favorite characters and I loved their chemistry. I highly recommend reading their story to see if survival is part of the mission.
