She went looking for a wolf pack. She ended up marked and claimed. When Lisa Hunter set out to rescue her friend from a pack of wolf shifters, she expected to face terrifying beasts. What she did not anticipate is finding herself naked, bound, and totally at the mercy of an infuriatingly sexy brute who has decided she is his mate whether she likes it or not.Ross MacDonald had only planned to hold … had only planned to hold the little human captive until she revealed what she knows about the men hunting his kind, but then the mere scent of another male near her sent him into a rage and the truth became undeniable. She belongs to him, and if it takes a stern, shameful punishment and a sore, thoroughly used bottom to convince her of that simple fact then so be it.
Publisher’s Note: Marked by the Wolf is a stand-alone novel set in the same world as The Alpha’s Mark. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Lisa came into Ross’s life like an avenging angel trying to save one woman from a shifter bond only to land herself in one. The journey Lisa was set on was fun and exciting as her and Ross worked out their relationship issues and her place within their pack and if she could be trusted.

Smart and feisty females, dominant wolf shifters, an evil and destructive force, and sexy encounters made this book an enjoyable and entertaining story. Spankings, bondage, consent/non-consent, power exchange and orgasm denial are just a few of the BDSM type scenes described in this book. Read at your own peril!
Downloaded from BookSprout. I received this book free from the author for my honest review. Since I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about purchases, I will never lie or over-exaggerate my opinion. There is nothing worse than seeing a bunch of 5 star reviews and realizing the book is full of errors or just plain bad and not worth my hard earned money!
** 2.5 Stars **
While I did enjoy this book, I felt that the first one was still better. This book was just not as well rounded and the plot felt flat. What action there could have been from the Knight and the elusive Mark, want there so it was up to the characters to be interesting enough to pull the story along. I just felt they were one-dimensional. Too bad I was really looking forward to those story.

An unusual perspective from a strange point of meeting, but every detail just as realistic.
Though I think this is the first time I read of werewolves in Scotland. Dragons, faeries, witches, and other immortals yes… So I guess welcome to the neighborhood, werewolves!

This is the second book in the series. It can be a standalone, but reading the first book will help. Lisa is fooled by the werewolf hunters into helping them find Finn and his pack. When she tries to take Finn’s mate, Maddie, away, Ross captures her. He realizes quickly that she is his mate, but Lisa fights it. There is a HEA. I can’t wait to read the other books. This well written shifter story about wolves and a woman looking for her friend. She becomes a naked bound and punished captive of an Alpha and he wants her as his Mate. She becomes marked, claimed and thoroughly punished by her mate so that she finally accepts his claim. This does have triggers and is also a wonderful strong alpha shifter story. A must read

This is a follow up to The Alphas Mark – which I hadn’t read before reading this one. It reads just fine as a stand-alone, although I’m sure you’d get more out of it by going in order. This is a shifter enemies to lovers romance so things happen at a fast pace – Ross is the beta and protecting his family, while Lisa is trying to protect her friend. Lisa has plenty of spunk and gives Ross a run for his money. I did find he came across to be pretty harsh initially – it’s a fine line to write but I wasn’t team Ross initially. However he becomes more real as the book goes on and the two had some great Chemistry. An enjoyable read.
