Kincaid finds the humor that hides behind the heartache. Mari’s Man in Unform gives credence to an old adage. Butch and Mari are proof that it’s sometimes the least obvious route that points us in the most obvious direction. Allie Kincaid knows how to bring on the feels. With a pocketful of sunshine, hints of rain and a lifetime of love, a favor between friends becomes a heartwarming rollercoaster ride.
I loved Mari and Butch and they were great characters who were likable and well developed. They were easy to like and their chemistry was explosive. This story got my attention right at the beginning and it was hard to put the book down. A good read that I enjoyed. I voluntarily chose to write a review. Great friends to lovers romance.
Love is blind. This is such a sweet story about love sneaking in between friends. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly.
I just love a friends to lovers! This one is clean, so we don’t actually witness the lovers part, but this way you can focus on the relationship itself. This author does a wonderful job of building great characters and story that you don’t need sex or swearing. There’s a heartbreaking scene or two that just makes the happy ending that much better. You can’t miss by picking this one up and checking it out
When Mari feels a spark of something between her and Butch at her sister’s wedding, she grows a little concerned. Butch is her best friend. Has been her best friend forever. But these feelings and sparks are definitely not of the friend only variety.
Butch has a plan. So far so good. It’s time to put the next phase into motion. But Mari wasn’t supposed to be part of the next phase. Not as anything more than his friend. Where are all these feelings coming from and can he learn to adjust his “plan” when things with Mari don’t follow along his projected path?
I loved this sweet story of best friends turning into something more. The town and family that Allie Kincaid has created for this set of books is wonderful. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
The second book in the Sisters in Bloom series and I know I want to read the next book, this series just gets better with each book. Butch Johnson and Marigold Scott’s story is well written with a great story line. I enjoyed reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Mari and Butch may be best friends, but they are also opposites. He was in the military and likes order and feels that being on time is important. She is artsy, goes by feelings about things, and has no concept of time. For the sake of their friendship, they haven’t acted on their attraction until now. But they both have issues to deal with and secrets to reveal before they can move forward with their relationship. The kitten Daffy Butch rescued was cute and precocious. Mari’s matchmaking Grannie was funny, posting pictures with her face thingy. There were plenty of funny, sweet, and romantic moments in this sweet best friends romance.
This is another good book in this series. Mari and Butch have known each other a long time and are much more mature and ready to explore what is between them now. I like how they each compromise for each other.
Cute sweet opposites attract and best friends to lovers romance book. Mari is a free spirit who lives life without regiment and Butch her best friend who was in the military who is used to rules but where the heart is involved there are no rules.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ms. Kincaid has created a close knit, loving family of these sisters and their septuagenarian grandmother, Grannie, who has just discovered Facebook! Butch has been Mari’s best friend forever. Butch is a planner and Mari is a free spirit. Once I started reading, I could not stop. This book was just a joy to read.

Now their feelings are changing but Marigold has kept a secret that will torn them apart for so long that she doesn’t know how to sheriff it with Butch. 5 stars
I received a free copy of the full length novel Sisters In Bloom book 2: Mari’s Man in Uniform by Allie Kincaid and this review was given freely.
An easy flowing opposites attract and friends-to-lovers sweet romance with diverse and slightly quirky but realistic characters and a happy ending. The eclectic free spirited Mari’s Garden flower shop owner Mari struggles with hurting her best friend, staying true to her uniqueness, and potentially losing her best friend Butch when she enlists the regimental construction contractor, Butch to renovate her shop. I love the close knit caring and supportive sisters and the emotional support the guys give each other. Granny is a hoot!
Warning, this book ends in an excellent teaser for the sequel.
