Loved this book and have loved all the books I’ve read so far in the series
Loved London Lovett’s “flower” books. Pink\Lacey is a young woman who moved from the corporate world to her own little flower shop in a small town. She’s unique in that she has a nose that can pick up any scent. Literally. Establishing her new business, taking care of her cat and pet crow still allows her to get involved in murder and mayhem with the local handsome sheriff. Enjoy.
Loved all of these book I read the whole set can’t wait for the next one! Loved the quirkiness of the characters
Enjoyable easy excape for a rainy day read.
Entertaining.
Cute, easy read. Ready for the next on.
It was entertaining.
Great cozy mystery! Would love to visit here. Great descriptive writing and interesting characters. Mysteries are good. too!
Lacy Peterson, called “Pink” by her friends, left medical school and her million dollar job as head perfumer in a top perfume company to open up her own flower shop in the small tourist town of Port Darby. Her “million dollar nose” helped her distinguish fragrances in the perfume industry but had made her sick from the odors created by various encounters in medical school. She befriends the owners of the local shops in the tourist town and learns of their yearly Pumpkin Competition and the identity of the main competitors in the contest, Virginia Hopkins and Beverly Kent. She also becomes friends with her handsome next door neighbor, Dash, and because of her nose and her curiosity, with Detective James Briggs who is in charge of policing Port Darby and the neighboring towns. She enjoys the small town life, sharing her home with her pet crow Kingston. She enjoys riding her bike and exploring her new town and its surrounding areas. When she hears a scream on one of her bike rides, she finds the mail carrier who has just discovered a dead body. Working with Detective Briggs, she uses her nose and investigative skills to solve the murder. I enjoyed Lacy’s adventures and her skills of helping to put together the clues to find the murderer.
Nice, light reading
London Lovett’s MARIGOLDS and MURDER was a treat. It is a fast, fun read with fun characters. Lacey aka Pink has relocated to a small town known for its tourism. Her uniquely talented nose just may get Lacey in trouble when she stumbles upon a murder. This is Book 1 of the Port Danby Mystery series. I definitely will be reading more in this series. Definitely.
A light, enjoyable mystery.
not finished yet, but love it
One can never go wrong with a cute cop, cool carpenter, plump pumpkins,a knowing nose and curious ketchup all leading to a well-worn path bicycled by instinct. I couldn’t help myself writing this type of review after the author gave me hours of fun, intellectual and humorons pleasure.
I liked this book very much. The characters were fun, the scenery sounded beautiful and the mystery was delightful. Entertaining!
First time with the characters. I really enjoyed getting to know them. Fun twist with the lead!
Good read
Sweet but predictable. I am always amazed at how these very small towns can support so many bakeries and flower shops.
Fun read, that I enjoyed very much.
Not as much romance as I was hoping for but the author paints a beautiful picture of the beautiful town and the colorful characters who live there.
