Going to high school as the heir to a mafia family isn’t as easy it seems. The prep school lifestyle leaves me cold, and I don’t want to be a part of the lacrosse crowd or make time with the silly girls who think being with me is taking a walk on the wild side. I’m fine in my bubble until I see the new girl through the window. Shy, smart, and with curves that make my mouth water, Evangeline is an … an unexpected good girl in my bad boy world. Her innocence should make me back off, but I don’t. After all, I’m a Davinci. When I see something I want, I take it.
A chance at going to college is all I need, and this new prep school is the way to do it. Grams took a maid job at a local estate just so I could attend prestigious Brightwood Prep, and I won’t let her down. I’m focused and determined … until I meet Marco. He’s got bad boy written all over him as he sits at the back of the classroom, his eyes eating me up. And that’s only the beginning. Marco isn’t just bad, he’s determined to make me his no matter the cost.
MINK’s note: Marco’s Girl stars Marco from His Virgin Queen. It’s best enjoyed with a kitty in your lap and a steaming cup of coffee, or tea if you’re feeling fancy, beside you. All characters are 18+, and an HEA is guaranteed. Enjoy.

Another great addition to add to MINK’s collection!
Marco may have been born a Tuscani, but his family will always be with the Davinci. Going to Brightwood Prep isn’t something Marco would’ve chosen to do, but to make his sister, Sophie, happy he goes. Although there he is the “bad boy” who doesn’t seem to give shit what everyone there thinks about him. But when he spots the new girl, he’ll claim her on the spot. After all, he’s a Davinici, what he wants he goes after…and he’ll fight to keep what he deems as his.
I really enjoyed getting Marco’s book! After reading His Virgin Queen (Sophie’s book) I was very hopeful that we’d get to see him fall in love and come into himself inside the family. Evangeline is the perfect woman for Marco. Like Sophie is with Nick, Evangeline is the soft and sweet to Marco’s hard and rough.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Copy of this book**
I had a lot of fun with this. I’ve been feeling kinda slumpy lately so I thought some OTT alpha novella would snap me out of it. I’ve read a work by this author before and they are a lot of fun and this was no exception. Really fee like I should have read the sister’s story first though.
This story revolves around Marco, the younger brother of Sophia from Mink’s “His Virgin Queen”. It can absolutely be read as a standalone, but reading the first book will give you an idea of what kind of childhood Marco had before becoming a Davinci.
Marco is self assured beyond his years and is a quiet bad@$$ with a relationship with his sister that made me smile to think of him cowering before her wrath. He falls instantly into confused possessiveness when he sees Evangeline enter as a new transfer student. Evangeline herself starts off as a super shy mouse who I was happy to see grows to develop a spine as the story unfolds. After all, she is going to need one to stand at Marco’s side. She transferred into the elite school on a scholarship and because she now lives in the area due to her grandmother being the cook for a wealthy family. Of course, she has being a baddy in her blood as it turns out that her grandmother, who basically raised her, has a past that makes fitting into the family very easy.
All in all, I really really loved this story and the characters….especially Evangeline’s grandmother. I received an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.
Marco is finishing his senior year because he sister wants him to graduate, but as a member of his mafia family he would rather work with his family instead. He doesn’t want to be part of the school crowd and he doesn’t need friends. When Evangeline begins attending the school though, his interest is peaked and he steps in when she gets bullied. Marco knows Evangeline is going to be his girl, she is just trying to get the best education possible though will she be willing to trust Marco?
This was a lot of fun, I don’t think I have read this author before but I was really curious about the first book. Entertaining read that I picked up and couldn’t put down.
Marco Davinci finds his true love in Evangeline. Filled with a bit of action, that old mafia-style of a beat down when you mess with his girl touch, sweet lovemaking, and a HEA. 4 solid stars.
P. S. Love seeing Sophia and Nick again!
Marco is a bad boy. Evangeline is a good girl. The minute Marco sees her he knows she’s his. Will his mafia connections get in the way? Will others allow them to be happy?
I’m addicted to author MINK. She’s quickly become my one-click go to for all things romance.
Marco gets his happily ever after and can I just say why weren’t there guys like that at my school? A Davinci, whose name is feared. You don’t want to cross this family. He’s here to please his sister Sophia. Not for any other reason. This snotty school is not for him. Well it wasn’t until her. Evageline. She’s sweet, innocent and she’s about to become his.
Alpha leads who are all about the woman they love. Sassy heroines who make me laugh. The innocence pours off them. Maybe that’s what draws the male? But also sweet and genuinely likeable.
Never any cheating thank you lord cause that’s a hard limit for me. HEA guaranteed. Sexy stories that grab your attention from start to finish. MINK, delivers on it all.
Marco’s Girl has everything you want in a Insta-Love Story.
Evangeline is new in school and instantly feels drawn to the mysterious bad boy her teacher warns her about.
Marco’s is just counting down the days until he kicks high school goodbye when a new girl shows up and changes his world.
It’s steamy, it’s fun, with an HEA that will leave you smiling.
I was so excited to see Marco’s Girl in my inbox. This story is about Marco,Sophia’s younger brother from My Virgin Queen. He is so protective of Evangeline, always wanting what’s best for her. Never wanting her to worry about anything. Gotta tell ya I also loved her badass Grams.
I just loved every second of it.
Can not wait to see what’s next.
I read an advanced copy of this book.

I was excited to see Marco get his own story. Marco’s character was pivotal in His Virgin Queen. Marco has matured a lot and goes after his Evangeline as soon as he sees her. Lots of action and drama in this story. Completely safe and Fredo the cat is awesome!
I have read several books by Mink and I loved each and every one of them and this was no exception. Loved this story. We first met Marco in The Virgin Queen and I was hoping that he would get his own book. Great chemistry between Marco and Evangeline. It was so intense and I loved it. I didn’t want to put this down. Loved the story and I can’t wait to read what she has coming next.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
More than anything I loved being back in the Davicini world! I had hoped that I would b able to see the next part of their story unfold, and I was left in wonder and awe of it’s beauty and devotion. There is nothing quite like this brilliant world and it’s exciting characters.
Marco is trying to follow his heart by doing what his sister never got to do. That is not say that it isn’t a struggle for him to stay the course. Evangeline is following her heart in order to provide for her and grams. Her grams has done everything she can to provide for her, and she wants to repay that love and kindness. When their world’s collide and hearts open to possibilities, nothing is the same again. Can love and trust grow in a world of secrets and violence, or will it twisted and torn apart by threats and fear?
This was a marvelous story of finding true love when you least expect it, and fighting for it with everything you are. It was so fun seeing Sophie and Nick again. They are such a pleasure to see how much they love the other and will do anything for them. Nothing was as good as getting to see more of Marco and watching him claim his heart. Evengeline is truly his equal, and I loved seeing them find and accept and cherish each other.
Mink is such a fun and quirky author who knows how to entertain and delight her readers. This story.made my heart soar and hope so hard. I did not want to see it end, but I enjoyed every second of it!!!
I loved this story. The characters were well developed and so sweet. I did get irritated with Evangeline when she lied to Marco. I felt she should have trusted him.
Marco is going to high school at a prep school but as part of a mafia family, it isn’t as easy it seems. He doesn’t have any interest in any of the cliques or school politics. Marco was ok with how things were until he sees the new girl. He isn’t ready for Evangeline. The good girl is shy, smart, and curvy and Marco wants to get to know her better. H should back off, but when he sees something that he wants, he gets it.
Evangeline is hoping for a chance to go to college, and attending Brightwood Prep is going to pave the way for her to do so. Her Grams is working at a local estate so that Evangeline could attend the school. Evangeline is determined she will stay focused on her schooling but then she meets Marco and everything changes. She knows that Marco is a bad boy and he’s decided that he is going to keep her no matter the cost.
This story made me happy. It’s my first book by this author and now I’ve decided I will have to read more of her work. The way Marco was so protective and his family was awesome. Evangeline’s Grams was hilarious and wonderful. I loved their happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book!
