We are one.We have always been a us.Possessive.Crazily in love.Living for each other in our ideal existence. But the unexpected will rock our foundations.Who we are as a couple will define our relationship.I know one … foundations.
Who we are as a couple will define our relationship.
I know one thing for sure.
I’m Gray Ellison … and there’s not a thing in this world which
will keep me from loving my baby-girl until my last breath.
She’s my heart.
And will always remain my heart.
Disclaimer: This is a follow-up novella and shouldn’t be read alone before Manhattan Sugar so as to appreciate the full and sugar-filled backstory of a sugar daddy and his former broken girl.

Grumpy Gray was the best!!!
Emotional. Heart wrenching. And oh so good. This book really had it all! I love India and Gray and each little slice of their life I enjoy so much and this book is no different.
Honest to goodness this read was a slight tear jerker. And had me turning page after page because I was so unsure of the outcome.
A fabulous read and addition to this world in Manhattan that’s I simply can’t get enough of. I truly can’t wait for the next!!!
I really enjoyed this book. I love this couple and was so glad they were back. Great story, and chemistry. I have loved every book in this series but this couple was my fav.
Manhattan Heart sends you back to the Sugar Daddy of Manhattan, Gray Ellison and his reason for living; India. From the first page, it’s like you’re back around those friends you love but also love to overshare with you. It’s perfection, but as I have found all too often now with V’s books whether it be bikers or the Manhattan elite? That is something that is a guarantee every time.
Manhattan Heart will have you on the edge of your seat for so much of the book and no doubt shouting at Gray the one word of ‘Why?’ repeatedly – I’m not going to tell you why of course; but trust me? You will do it. Then there’s India’s love for her Sugar Daddy, which is so well written it’s as if you’re standing in their gorgeous apartment watching her fall in love over and over with the man she said ‘I do’ to. I love her character so much, and she’s just as adorable as the last time we saw her, just with possibly an increased affection for her cereal and shoes if that’s at all possible.
And can I say, Please can I have more soon! I have missed each and every character that lives in Manhattan and want to snoop into their world again and again.
4.5 stars
There is just something that speaks to me about the characters that this author creates. Any time that there is a chance to come back and revisit them is a Festivus miracle in my book because even when they aren’t the current couple, they are still alive and well in my mind. Especially, THIS couple because they are unconventional. Not only in the age way, or how distinctly different they are in regards to where they came from and personalities but in the fact that they are content to not be anything but true to themselves, regardless of what society might consider normal.
So, coming into this book I had an idea of what this book would be about. All I can say, expect the unexpected. This was nothing like I was thinking it was going to be but it also was everything I was thinking it would be. This author did a great job showing how married life was, including all of the fears, frustrations, concerns, anger, and happiness that an established married couple faces. It was, also, great to see some familiar faces and scenes that were not in their books, thus giving me a chance to live vicariously through them again. See? The characters are always alive and well.
Gray still has the most amazing mouth and India, well India is just herself. I felt both of their emotions and how this affected them differently. I enjoyed watching them navigate their fears and realize that they truly are perfect for each other. India is really a lucky woman.
Highly recommend this book and series to everyone.
I will never get enough of my favorite sugar daddy and sugar baby. This was a happy moment for me to see them again. Their love is something that just makes you sigh. I loved this continuation with everything inside of me. I want someone to be as dedicated to me as Gray is to India. He gives me heart eyes. India and Gray are perfect for each other.
I loved this novella, it gave me a chance to revisit a favorite couple Gray and India. This story gives a glimpse into their married life and see how they handle the unexpected as a couple. This couple is still epic and sexy.
This story was so sweet. I really love Gray and India. Their love is so strong. This story was filled with passion, love, heartbreak and lots of sweet moments. Gray will do anything for his baby-girl. And he is India’s whole heart. All the feels.
This is our second peek into the lives of India and Gray, happily married, extremely *satisfied* with each other, and loving life. I’m not sure what I expected from this, but there was a point where it looked like was going to be the book that finally caused me to threaten an author. Side note…it was not and I did not. THIS STORY IS FANTASTIC! Needless to say, there are emotional twists and turns that you will not see coming. I can’t even explain how many times I had to look away and pull myself together…and that was in all aspects of the story – the drama, the sexiness, the sensuality, everything! Literally, this book has everything. It’s an absolute must read all across the board and so worthy of 5+ Stars!!
I can’t take in how much I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOOK.
oh my god. I was put through the emotional wringer but not in a bad way.
We first meet Gray and India in Manhattan Sugar, ( a must read first ) they fell in love hard and fast. Gray worked hard to get his emotionally damaged girl to where they are now. I love that we see them as a married couple, as the tagline says, what happens after the HEA? Unless an author gives an epic epilogue, we rarely see what happens next.
This was such a simple yet complex storyline that lots of couples face and it’s how Gray and India cope that drives the story. India is my girl! I’ve always loved her, she’s the heroine I relate to the most from any Theia book. She wears masks, pretends she’s okay so she doesn’t have to tell people that she suffers with anxiety and grief, but we see her step into a different role in this book and it was fantastic.
Grumpier Gray, I was living for that! He’s always been so sweet and caring and he struggled with his own things this go around. This couple are top of my list and will always be there for how awesome their connection is.
this book has a lot of HEART and now it owns mine.
All the flipping stars.
What can I say about this book. Gray has been a personal favourite of mine since the first book. His love for India has been palpable in the first and I am happy to say it does not go away. Their lives have changed since we last saw them but it is so much stronger. I cried my eyes out during this book and it gave me a lot of feelings I wasn’t expecting. This is a must read to anyone who loves a sugar daddy.
O my Gray!!
This book was a pleasant surprise and I must say I liked it better than the first book and that is saying a lot. I often wondered what Gray and India was up to. I love their marriage and the way Gray loves India—actually how they love each other. OMG! It was great to see the other characters that I love so much, especially Noah and Sena. Makes me want a catch up with Noah and Sena and the young kiddies. Of course, you must read Manhattan Sugar before you jump into this one, but I can assure you that you will love both books—one of the best in the series. This novella was amazing and once again V. Theia did not disappoint her fans, she knows how to write a story and keep us engage and begging for more. I read the book in one sitting…it was that damn good.
I’m truly not sure where to begin with how incredible this novella is. Words cannot describe the epicness of this story. It deserves so much more than just 5 stars, more like millions! After reading Manhattan Sugar, I wanted so much more of Gray and India. These two have such love, such lust, such chemistry that you can’t help but be jealous of them. I am so in love with these two characters, that every time I read a word or a sentence about them, my heart melts into a puddle of heavy sighs and love. This story starts after they have been a married a few years and starts off with a bang. Gray will do anything for his baby-girl and India will do anything for her Sugar D. When something threatens to alter their world, can they get through it? Be forewarned, this story will make you all kinds of emotional, giving you all the feels, and yes, you will need a tissue or two, but it is so well worth it. This author blows me away with how her words will just embed themselves so deep into your heart and become so invested in the characters. To me, that shows that this author is absolutely brilliant and I can’t wait to read more by her. A phenomenal read!
Loved reading India and Gray again…….they are amazing Great read and definitely recommend it
This is a continuation of India and Gray’s love story. Their life is basically perfect for them. After a few years together, she’s still learning things about him, but he seems to know her literally inside and out. He know how she will act and react—and he plans accordingly to make her life the best he can. It is a great story with some frightening times for them, especially India. We also have some of out other favorites appearing in the story. Just beautiful.
Manhattan Sugar was my first foray into V Theia’s books and I loved revisiting them in Manhattan Heart. Ever since the first book I have loved Gray and India. I loved seeing the couples from the other books in the series and I hope to read more from this series.
I loved revisiting India and Gray! It’s an emotional, quick read and I definitely suggest reading it if you’ve read their first book!
Be still my breaking and bleeding heart. I fell so in love with the love story of Gray and Indie in Manhattan Sugar that when I realized they were getting another Manhattan book my little heart grew three sizes, just like the Grinch. Little would I realize that I would need the extra size to my heart, to keep it beating with all the angst contained within these pages.
I love to read this author and follow the crumb trails she leaves behind within the pages of her words. Sometimes I guess right and sometimes I do not. Manhattan Heart was an ABSOLUTE DID NOT guess right. When I was face slapped with how far off track I was with my future tripping along the yellow brick book road, I stopped, dropped and rolled to put out the fire within my heart. I seriously sat and cried my eyes out.
This couple have an eternal love and it is so intense to watch that you almost need to see it play out on the big screen. This book hit lots of hot spots for me and was one of the more emotional books from within this world. I loved watching Gray’s mean girl rise and see she was capable of things she never knew she could do. I loved watching Gray love his sugarbaby. I loved seeing bits of the other Manhattan crew and most of all I just love Sugar D. This book, in my opinion becomes much richer if you read Manhattan Sugar first. Xoxoxo
An incredibly epic must read! After reading their story in Manhattan Sugar, I was pleased to see that readers were getting more of Sugar D and his Baby Girl. I honestly wasn’t prepared for just how deep the continuation of their journey was going to touch me. Their unwavering love and insatiable lust for each other has never ceased to amaze me. When their marriage is put to the test, is their love strong enough for them to endure? Their life experience is one that many readers will be able to relate to. This novella is one that will pull hard on your heartstrings and have you feeling ALL the feels. Having a box of Kleenex nearby is highly recommended.
