My name is Hunter Jordan, lead singer of Hammered and no, I didn’t name my c-ck Manaconda.Rolling Stone did.On the front cover of their damn magazine.I still haven’t lived it down. And now our record label wants to maximize the frenzy. So, I have a brand new PR person–Kennedy McManus. And she’s making me insane.I don’t know whether to ignore her, yell at her, or push her up against the wall and … ignore her, yell at her, or push her up against the wall and kiss her smart mouth shut.
I ended up kissing her.
Come on, I mentioned how exasperating she was, right?
That’s when it blew up in both our faces.
Now, the tabloids think she’s my girlfriend. My record label would rather have me remain the single manwhore of the ages.
Kennedy thinks I’m the manwhore anyway. She wants me for a quick fling and nothing more.
I just want Kennedy.
Man, I’m so screwed.
A STANDALONE NOVEL
Originally ended in a cliffhanger, but now includes Manaconda: The Second Coming to make a standalone story.

Love these authors and this book. Hunter and Kennedy are hilarious , serious, fill of drama and romance. I do want to know what happened with Bats, bit I know I will come in his book. A must read. Also, love the “Oblivion” series. A fabulous read
Hunter’s less than thrilled that his um masculine appendage has been nicknamed Manaconda. Most men, especially rockstars, would be thrilled at all the attention it’s garnered, but not Hunter. But at least it’s brought him his new PR handler, Kennedy. Kennedy who does not want to be attracted to her new client, but she is. So what are the two going to do about that attraction?
I love Hunter and Kennedy together! She’s sharp and she’s tough, and I love how hard she made him work to get back into her good graces. And I love that Hunter isn’t the typical rockstar. Oh sure, he’s cocky and persistent, but he isn’t an asshole player, he’s just a guy who happens to front a famous band, and happens to be in love with his woman.
The rockstar world Cari and Taryn have created is one of my all time favorites in all of rockstar fiction. Hunter and Kennedy, the rest of Hammered (and Oblivion and Warning Sign and more) make for some seriously entertaining reading. Manaconda is witty, sexy, emotionally layered and I can’t wait for more of the authors’ rockstars.
I love all the authors books, especially rock star genre, always a little drama. This book centers around Hunter, lead singer of the band Hammered, and his relationship with Kennedy. I laughed, drooled a little and enjoyed a great read.
The first book on the Hammered series starts off running. The heat and chemistry between Hunter and Kennedy is explosive from the minute they meet. When they get “caught” in a semi-compromising situation, they have to play up the PR side of it. It’s what Kennedy does. PR should be easy. But is it more than just PR? What is really going on between them? And why can’t either of them control it?
A very entertaining read. The characters were great and the story was fantastic. This author duo made me laugh out loud, swoon, and fall in love with this band. Cannot wait to read about the other members.
Hot doesn’t do this book justice. It’s wow!
So funny and hot !
Okay
There was steam and heat here! But I did not like the characters much – seemed a bit unrealistic – couldn’t get into it very much.
Fun but predictable
Very sexy and funny.
Had to read the whole series because I couldn’t put them down
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this book. But it had me after the first page. The characters are sweet, sexy and sometimes so funny. Even had a few tears in my eyes and of course them I had to get the rest in that series
I enjoyed this, for a quick light read. The flow started a bit slow, but picked up somewhere around 20% in. The characters are likable, Hunter is surprisingly a great character though he’s super complicated & has some depth to him, for a normal rock star book (which I appreciated), he really drove the story. Kenny was not as well developed in the book in my opinion, I also felt she was driven by lust, not love for at least 2/3rds of the book. There was some unresolved questions (but didn’t affect the ending) from events in the book, that I suspect will be answered in the subsequent books in the series. There is an HEA at the end that tied everything up for the couple. The one thing I found hard to keep up with, all the different characters introduced to the reader so fast early in, then later mentioned in the book just by name, that I was like who was that?
On dimensional and boring
Nice read for a cold and dreary day at home. Easy to follow and certainly enough “action” to keep those pages flipping through .
Disappointing
