I preordered my copy and boy am I ever glad I did! Once I began reading the book, I just couldn’t put it down. I was so engrossed in the story, that I stayed up until almost 1am to finish..it was totally worth it…Loved the book and hope there will be more!
*WARNING* contains explicit adult/alien sexual situations
Hrebec is commander of the Defiance and also a male if the alien race if Cire. The Cire have almost died out because of the Red Death. Hrebec left his planet to get away from all the sorrow and experimentation. Hrebec travels the galaxy as a volunteer for the Council. Hrebec doesn’t realize how much his life will change when Ribel sees a known slave ship.
Abigail runs a house for unwed, pregnant mothers who have no other place to go. Abigail never thought alien abduction was something any of them would have to worry about.
This was such a great story. Many women have men who have mistreated then or who are just plain selfish. The idea of the perfect male is fantastical even if it is a muscular green alien with a tail! I like that Phillips injects small realities into her SFR. The world building made for a beautiful place and the beings of the planet sound quite colorful too. The story interesting as well as entertaining, what more can I ask for?
A sweet collaboration between two awesome authors! It’s a book worth reading with a guaranteed HEA! Loved the storyline, alien gets a readymade family.

I love both of these author’s work; every book that they both write is like an escape to new world filled with sinfully sweet and steamy delight. And this book was no exception. I never give spoilers in my reviews, and I wont start now. I will say that this book was a masterpiece. It was sweet, touching, heartfelt, and oh so sinful. Its one of those books that will make you end it with a sigh and a smile.

I loved the fresh take on alien abduction romance!
The characters were sweet, and despite the element of Insta-love, build real relationships with each other. Plus, who can resist hot guys who aren’t afraid to change a diaper! Loved this steamy, romance, and was hooked till the end!
Ah! My heart! I loved, loved, loved this book! Abby and her girls did not expect to be taken by aliens bent on selling off their babies, but fortunately Hrebec Nak’Charen rides to the rescue! Hrebec and his men are a volunteer group of space cops, and when they find that the Vedeckians have been stealing women from Earth to sell as slaves, there’s mayhem and blood. Abby wants nothing more than to take her daughter and the girls back to Earth, but first they need to check out something on the planet Trevelor. And what will they do about Tiana!?!
It’s a fun and sweet book, and I hope we see more things like this:
“Lucinda Kathryn Reynolds.” “Uh oh. Mama is using all my names. That means she’s mad.” The child did not look particularly concerned. “Do you have more than one name?” “My full name is Hrebec Zarmutek Nak’Charen.” “Wow! Did your mama use all your names when she was mad too?” “I don’t remember, but it would not surprise me if she had.”
I definitely liked and enjoyed reading Abigail and Hredec’s story. I couldn’t put the book down, finished this in one sitting.

Honey phillips has written herself to the top of my favorie sci-fi romance authors. Every book I read, it seems i love it more than the first. Mama and the Alien Warrior is no different. I fell hard for Hrbrec. Maybe even harder for little Lucie. I hope there is more to thia series. If not, I would still be completely happy and highly recommend this book.
Happy reading!

I loved this book and hope the writers set more books in this world. The babies and child make the story sweet and the characters are well written and believable. The family dynamics between Hrebec, Abbey, Lucie and Tiana was very heart warming while Hrebrec and Abbeys’ love life was hot. I will enjoy rereading this book many times

I love this read because it is a adventure, love and family story. It doesn’t matter what or where you come from, you can become a family. Adventure of a life time and finding your mate. Start with something that could only be a bad dream and being rescued along with finding a new life. Not only a new life for Abby , but for Abby’s girls. You have to read this book.

This book is perfect for you if you love cute stories about aliens. It’s a quick sweet read that warms the heart
I just love alien abduction stories. They are always near and dear to my heart. This time the women that are abducted are pregnant (or recently pregnant). The exception being our main girl. I love her so much. She takes a mother role to all the girls around her; she thinks about the others instead of herself. Hrebec, the alien captain that rescues the women, is a big green cuddle bear with a tail. He is the sweetest most caring man/alien. I love him with our heroine but especially with her kids. It just warms the heart.

Wanted my money back, awful storytelling .
Abby runs a maternity home for women who have no support in their lives. She has also adopted her deceased half-sister’s precocious daughter Lucie – such an accepting and loving child. All the women in the maternity home are kidnapped by alien traders for breeding purposes.
Luckily Captain Hrebec and crew find their ship and save them along with a female child of their race that has not been seen in years since the Red Death killed off all females. The Aliens shock and awe was endearing……… but are mate bonds being formed………how is that possible……..Will Abby finally realise what her heart has been telling her all along? Maybe they don’t have to return to Earth.
Making aliens seem ordinary
This isn’t a bad book. The story is Hallmark-cute. The kid is too cute and her mama is typical of the falls-for-an-alien heroine. The alien looks pretty alien but acts and speaks and relates to the environment just like any other Earth man. I guess the point is that aliens are people too.
