Tick…
Tick…
Boom.
“Your point?” She covered her eyes so they didn’t try to roll completely out of her head.
“I’m saying this competition has a reputation to maintain, Riley.”
“No worries, Eddison. D.P.’s going to blow the doors off the place.” She smirked. “Metaphorically speaking. Installation of explosives would be a severe violation of the weaponization prohibition clause.”
“You will not be competing.”
“Yeah, so you keep saying. Small issue.” She spread her hands. “You have zero authority to withdraw us from the contest.”

“What a prequel should be; an introduction to the theme and the main players told concisely with good flow and page turning need for questions to be answered.
I had an “my eyes bugged out” moment when a certain Texas biker by the name of
Coyote was whispered.
This is going to be absolutely epic, I honestly can’t wait for book one Jail Break.

MalWare is the prequel to the Idle Hands series and what a fabulous start of it it is! I was hooked from the first chapter when Riley and then her archnemesis Eddison Sharp were introduced. Even more so when I got to meet the rest of Riley’s team.
The book is told from multiple POVs, Riley, Colt, Faith, Will *sobs*, Alex and Fox, and while I’m not usually fond of that many perspectives in the stories I read, it worked well here, since it made it easier to get a small glimpse into each of them and what makes them tick, and I’m looking forward to the next books in the series so I can get to know them more in depth.
As it is, my favorites were Riley and Colt. Riley is just such a force to be reckoned with and frankly, I’m looking forward to her and the team systematically destroying Sharp. I don’t even care if it takes a long time, just make him suffer. LOL
Overall, this is definitely a must-read. Ms. Rayne managed a very good balance between all the work the team does—making it interesting without making it too difficult to understand—and an action-packed, character-driven plot I couldn’t get enough of. Very recommendable!

Loved this book! Great prequel to the series! It introduced all the main characters and their personalities wonderfully. Loved all their interactions amongst each other as well as their interactions with other characters. Can’t wait for the next book, Idle Hands, to come out! Love Sara Rayne’s books! You won’t be disappointed.
From one if the creators of The Four Horseman MC series comes this, the start of a new and what looks to be an exciting series. It is all about the net and hackers, the ones that helped Lex and Voodoo in the last Horseman book and of course Coyote, is mentioned, for those who don’t know him, he’s one of the Horseman and is the computer geek. If you’ve not read the series, I would it’s good.
Ok that’s enough reminiscing, as this isn’t about them, as I’ve said it’s about the hackers, and the introduction of the characters, it has twists and turns and laughs and I loved it , it’s a quick read and can’t wait to read more.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
I received an ARC for Malware from Sara Rayne and I have to say she didn’t disappoint. I have been waiting for this since I got done reading The Four Horsemen MC series. This book is filled with all kinds of stuff I never expected. If you want to find out how amazing this book is i guess you’ll have to read it I won’t spoil it for you… If you don’t it’s your loss….
Several years ago a couple of sisters caught my attention with their Four Horsemen Series. Oh my word, read the first book and the rest of the series took up residence on my Nook. Needless to say, I’m a huge fan and read everything they write. Luckily for me I haven’t had a dud in the bunch. Malware is Sara Rayne’s brainchild and she’s definitely delivered an amazing story. Take a group of brilliant computer geeks, throw in lots of sexual tension and tons of intrigue and you’ve got a quick, exciting and “hate to see it end” book! Ms. Rayne keeps us on our toes with lots of twists and turns and gives us characters worth worth investing our time and a villain that you can’t help despising…she even throw in Four Horsemen references…definitely got my attention. Thanks for the fabulous story, Ms. Rayne, looking forward to Jailbreak.
