Some girls don’t like pretty things. Some girls like things that are destructive, and toxic. Things that fuel our bodies with adrenaline and bring our demons to their knees. They say magic isn’t real, but it’s it the closest way to describe love? It doesn’t exist physically. It merely exists around us, within us, possessing our souls and making us do stupid shit. Shit like falling in love with a … in love with a boy who knows how to rip my world apart and raise hell with a simple flick of his wrist. Their secrets are now mine. I’m not just in the middle of this game, I’m helping orchestrate it. Can the cries of my aching soul be enough to drown out the burning embers of my mistakes?
The mind strengthens the heart, roughing the edges to prepare it for war. This is a war I will not win.
This is a war of fate.

Welcome to a story about a brotherhood of mayhem and destruction and the one girl who could topple a kingdom. The Elite Kings are up to their same old tricks – secrets and games – and Tillie offers herself up as tribute. Willing or not, she’s playing and she hopes to win. Nate may be her one true love, but forgiving him and letting him back into her heart won’t be easy. And although we find out the whys of so many WTH moments, new facts arise, making me wonder what happens next.
I highlighted so much of this book it’s ridiculous. I was left dangling at so many points in this story that I’m questioning if I’ll ever see the whole thing clearly. Getting a glimpse into Amo’s mind is a like a psychedelic trip and I only hunger for more. I want to dissect it all, find the hidden meaning, learn everything. I’m just as lost now as I was at the end of the first book. Isn’t that something? This series is a mindfck mystery that I can’t help but love. Getting the the whys and the hows is a huge part of the thrill. The characters have a lot in common but the author created them with such unique distinction, with each of them offering something the other doesn’t have. They’re gorgeous, rich and cunning, and not to be messed with. The Elite Kings are the dominion, having it all is never enough, and being a pawn is almost inevitable. Tillie is a character with immense inner strength, surviving and coping and thriving. I loved how she worked these boys, bending them to her will, manipulating their reactions, and finding a way to get hers in the end.
I think it was pretty obvious that the story isn’t over. I’m not happy with the way things have shaped up for Bishop and Madison and I’m crossing my fingers that the author finds a way to fix this. Stop messing with my heart, Amo!! I’m serious. There were certain things that I wasn’t pleased with in this story, things that seem to be typical for this genre, but the story was so good that it was easy to overlook them. Filled with angst and drama and hope and despair, The Elite Kings series will mess with you in the best of ways.
Wow book hangover!!! I am in love with some Tillie !!! She is freaking amazing!! So dang strong with all she grew up with and has lived through. Oh all the things that come out in the book. I can tell you this I honestly can’t tell you which King is my favorite because I am foaming at the mouth to read Brantley so until then I just don’t know. I think I love them all !! If you haven’t started this series you’re missing out!!

World building:
Character development:
The setting: The Hamptons, New York, Perdita Island
The Hero(s): Nate Riverside Malum – is second only in the Elite Kings to Bishop, though Bishop has been dealing with relationship issues and has become more human lately so Nate often takes over in the Lead role. Nate had a baby, Miceala with Tillie but was mad at her for hiding the pregnancy from him, though she really was kidnapped.
The heroine: Tillie Stuprum – in love with Nate, but is coming to realize that they can’t be together. She along with her daughter were the last remaining members of the Stuprum line. These women are meant to rule over the lost boys on Perdita Island.
The Love Story: Tillie and Nate have never really been happy since that first weekend they were together when she became pregnant. Though their daughter seems to have helped bridge the gap somewhat.
So much happened in this book. Not just with Nate and Tillie, but also with Madison and Bishop. I am not quite sure why that stuff didn’t happen in their own 3 book series, as it could have crossed over timelines with this book, but I guess it was so we could find out what happened between them second hand instead of first person.
I guess what happened in this book shouldn’t have surprised me, but boy did it ever. These books have been pretty brutal all along and the romance genre on whole has way more coincidences than can occur naturally. There were so many huge reveals in this book (and the previous) I was going a little crazy.
Additionally, like the first four books there is some crazy attraction and a bit of action between people other than Tillie and Nate. In the first three books Madison had some encounters with Nate and one with Brantley as well even though she was in Love with Bishop. Tillie likewise has had more than a light flirtation with Brantley and he her.
However, I can’t blame Tillie too much, since Nate is a is often an insufferable jerkface. Though I must say that over the course of these five books I have truly hated the idea of the “The Elite King Club” like I do with most ultra wealthy secret society type books. They are usually inherently bad and corrupt, not that this one isn’t that, but this book showed why the club hasn’t disintegrated from the inside. It showed why the Kings stay. That was the best part for me!
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
With this unapologetically addictive and beautifully twisted love story, Amo Jones has shown yet again that she’s a master of her craft!
This book, which surpasses every each one of its readers’ expectations, is going to both enthral and tear the readers’ hearts apart, leaving them in a neverending state of wanting more.
Epic!!!
Wow! This book was everything I anticipated and more ! Finally we get the happy ending of Nate and Tillie’s story. But man to get there what a ride! The secrets, lies , betrayal and the heartache and there is still more to come with Bishop and Madison! This book was Epic and I can’t wait for Brantley’s story. Hopefully we get a book about Abel too??? Amo Jones is definitely a amazing writer at creating a world that I love to get lost in and takes me away from my troubles and puts a smile on my face!!

After finishing this book last night I could not figure out how to put a review into words. So many things were running through my head. Malum: Part 2 (Elite King’s Club #5) by Amo Jones is so intricate, a brilliant spider web of a story. This is the continuation of Nate and Tillie’s story and will answer the little questions that you have in the back of your mind after the first book. Then it leaves you with more once you are done, lol. But that just means another book to the series, YAY! I am completely addicted to this series.
Nate + Tille = TOXIC. Look up “toxic relationship” and you will see Nate and Tillie. Goodness, those two are like lighter fluid and a flame put together. Even though their relationship is toxic, it is still their home base. They are that person to each other. That person that grounds you and it pisses you off to no end because it’s that person.
The interaction in this book is heart-wrenching at times, then you are pissed off, and the next thing you know, your heart soars. There are just so many emotions in this book. Tillie, OMG, when she pushes her shoulders back and chin up to push through, you feel it. You feel her strength in her darkest hour. Then, there is Nate. Can I cry now? Freaking, fracking… his confessions just did me in. On top of Daemon. WOW! Just wow. You will sit there and think “What the heck just happened???”
I will admit that I don’t normally read books about young adults because they can be a little whiny or the h being a little clingy or selfish. I picked up the first book and fell in love. This is NOT one of those reads. This is a dark, twisted, complex series. I cannot express this enough. You need to read this series. Start with The Silver Swan (Elite Kings Club, #1) and just keep reading. The depth of the characters Amo builds is mind-boggling. It will suck you in and you will not come up for air for a long time because you will not want to put the books down. This whole series is phenomenal. One to keep on your TBR list to read over and over again.
In typical Amo Jones style, Malum part 2 was a twisted, roller coaster ride that will seriously mess with your emotions. So many different stories going on and twists that I’m not even going to touch the plot, I’m just going to say that yet again Amo Jones has given us a real page turner that you won’t want to put down until you’ve finished it. Tillie and Nate are just awesome, but as with all Amo Jones books, don’t expect this second part to their story to be plain sailing. You’re in for one crazy ride. 5 stars for Malum part 2.
OMG I finished „Malum: Part 2” three days ago and I still don’t know how to write quite readable review that first wouldn’t have spoilers and second wouldn’t include thousands of OMGs everywhere. So bear with me here and forgive me my relatively short opinion cause believe me when I say the best way to have real pleasure from this book is reading it without knowing anything from spoilers and other people thoughts. That said if you didn’t read “Malum: Part2” already read it first and that dive into reviews and spoiler group. And yes you definitely have to read “Malum: Part1” and whole Bishop’s and Madison’s story.
And if you read first Malum book forget all your theories. They weren’t correct. Amo did her magic once again so suspect everything that unexpected.
Second book picks up right after the previous book left off and is told from dual point of view that I think it’s great idea cause we get to know both what Tillie’s and Nate’s thoughts are which also may be the reason you will want to shake them both in order to come to their minds.
So as with all Amo’s books and definitely with Elite King’s Club series prepare yourself for all the delicious twists and turns, you will watch as all the boys play their games and will think about will their cross that line with no return, you will be on the edge with your feeling turning next pages and before you will even noticed the book will be over but don’t even suspect that you will know all the answers, of course you will get few of them but new ones will surface and you will be left with thinking in which way whole story will go. Let’s not forget that we have still to read Brantley’s story (who is quite big part of this book too and we can see more of him and we finally got to know him better) and our OG couple book – Madison and Bishop who have really though road before them.
So brace yourself for being swooned, get yourself a glass of wine (yeah a bottle will be better let’s be honest here :P) and dive in into this amazing unpotable book that will keep you on edge from the beginning to the last words. And yes book hangover warning. But believe when I say even the biggest book hangover is worth it cause Amo, let’s said once again, is and will be one of the best authors of dark stories in book universe.
As always with Amo’s books BIG five stars.
I’m a huge fan of dark twisted stories and whole Elite King series will remain as one of my favorite and the best stories ever.
It’ll keep me hostage with huge book hangover forever because there isn’t so far any other author with that kind of unique imagination like Amo Jones, who can reach my soul and move my emotions with deep dark stories I didn’t even know I can enjoy.
She always surprises me and shocks me with the turn of events and suspense in her books in the least expected moment. She’s a queen of mindf**k stories, it’s like one minute you say WTH is going on, the other you say OMG.
Malum is a part of The Elite King series and I strongly recommend to be read in order because anyone that started Malum without previous 3 is missing out.
Malum and every part of The Elite King series pulled me deeper into the story. It always awakens my deepest emotions and each time I’m craving for more. Every hero and heroine in the series makes me love and hate them at the same time for their behavior and all decisions they’ve made. They’re all fu**ed up in their own way and all of them are bold individuals and I love them.
Malum part 2 is a continuation of Nate and Tillie story. They’re still struggling with their feelings and fighting a battle deep down in their hearts.
Nate is so complicated and confusing man but I love every single side of him even sometimes I didn’t understand his actions. Tillie became my fav heroine. I loved to look how she was changing every day and how her adopting to the Elite King world was getting better even she had doubt if she wants to be a part of it. You get no indication if they’re going to sort out their relationship. One thing was certain, their chemistry is beyond everything and every atom in their world pulling them together.
When I was flipping through the pages I felt like walking through a maze. Every corner has a secret and every chapter brought something unexpected. I love every single word in this story. Every single sentence has a strong meaning. As always whole plot is hard to predict because Amo Jones knew how and when pull the aces from the pocket. This part is also including a hint of Bishop and Brathley apart stories and it makes book even more addictive.
Like last time I felt lost at the end of the book with enormous curiosity and many questions to what’s coming our way with the next book in the series.
***5 ‘Little Terror’ Stars***
I’ve been staring at the screen for a minute, trying to get the words swirling around in my head to stop and become at least a little coherent, but that isn’t working…so it’s time to attempt to take charge…attempt
This book gave me everything!
It gave me the feels…All. The. Damn. Feels.
It gave all kinds of answers to questions that were swirling around in my head, as well as giving me more things to ponder over while waiting impatiently for the next King’s book (And OMG I cannot wait for Bran Bran’s book *squees and does a little seated happy dance*
And then there is Tillie and Nate. I already adored Tillie, but this book just proves what a Queen she truly is. I loved watching as she finally figured out who she wanted to be and took the steps to find her happy. Nate is simply Nate. He is all kinds of large and in charge Alpha AF male and makes no apology for all that he does and it’s hard not to fall in love with him because even when he’s being an asshat, he has a pretty good reason for it. And as for their HEA. I always thought they were perfect for each other, but had way too many issues to work through before they could be truly together. So to watch as they finally tackled their issues, with themselves and each other, was a lot of fun ~ and strangely enough I didn’t roll my eyes at either of them once ~ and I loved how things played out in the end.
I devoured this book. (Well, I would have in one sitting had I not been interrupted with food and wine, but I still devoured it). I truly enjoyed how everything played out with all the issues the Kings are facing, though Madship are making my head spin, and getting to hang out with the Kings and getting to know them a little better. And, of course, there is Bran Bran and Saint .Brantley’s been the one I’ve been most intrigued with from the start and after this book my fav King, so I cannot wait to get my hands on his book!

Top read of the year! Mind blown away!
Amo Jones once again as hit it out of the park with Malum Part 2. You think Part 1 was a complete mindf*ck, just you wait till you read Part 2.
“If you hurt someone enough, they acclimatize to pain, but just like a wound, if you don’t seal it, you’ll bleed out.”
Nate and Tillie’d story continues with so much pain, twists and turns that will have your head spinning with trying to figure things out. We learn a few things that had us trying to figure out what was on in part 1 and let me tell you I was in complete shock.
“Nate’s eyes are what I feel the most. He’s not touching me, but he doesn’t need to. That’s just Nate. That’s just me, and that’s him, but whatever we have, it’s not enough for me to forgive him.”
So much as happened with The Kings and Tillie and Madison and there’s more to come with these guys. Part 2 is explosive form start to finish. I definitely can’t wait to see what happens. The way Amo brings these epic stories to life and just messes with you mind is a talent that not many can master but she does. She’s a genius with her words.
Highly recommend Amo Jones and The Elite Kings to anyone who wants epic reads
“I hate that I’m a slave to the way he makes me feel. I don’t like not being in control, and that’s exactly what he does to me—he takes my control.”
Nobody tells a #MindFuck tale like Amo Jones. I never know what to expect from her and I love that about her books. She keeps me guessing and gasping and always on the edge of my seat. She writes some of the best alpha assholes that know how to raise my temperature in more than one way. I’ve either got steam coming out of my ears or I’m fanning myself. Hot/hot, ya feel me?
I can’t tell you what happens in Malum 2, it’s a puzzle that you have to piece together as you go. I can’t even give you the straight edges or the corners, you need to enjoy each piece yourself to get the whole effect. And then you’ll have to pick your jaw up off the floor when that happens.
I can tell you that the deeper I go into the Elite Kings Club the more addicted I become. Each book gives me a closer look into the lives of the characters and intrigues me even more. I’m totally crushing on Bran Bran right now and I can’t wait for his story. The line forms here…
Just amazing! What a total mind f*@k! Like words can not explain what the hell happened here! Tillie and Nate are so raw. Thier relationship is so intense that its toxic! The raw emotions that run though this book a surreal! I can’t wait for the next one!
Just when you think things can’t possibly get worse for Nate and Tillie, they do. Malum: Part I broke my heart in too many places but Malum: Part II I thought would be a new beginning and it was but DAMN this one went to a whole different place I did not even know existed. I had to catch my breath a time or two because I really thought there for a bit Nate was going to go more off the deep end and either take Tillie with him or die trying.
Nate isn’t just the joker anymore we are seeing more of is Malum side. The ruthless, savage and emotionless side that you must love because it goes right along with his other half, Riverside. Nate lost so many parts of himself along this journey and the one person who could put it back together was not able to. It is hard to get close to someone who won’t let you. When it comes down to it, Nate is not able to let Tillie close because it is too painful.
Tillie is so much more than people see. While the Kings know she is smart they don’t give her the credit that she is due. While she didn’t grow up in this life, she is adjusting far better than anyone has even after her significant loss. Tillie knows she needs to stay away from Nate, but she knows that is impossible when he is the only person who can make things better. Power, destruction and heartbreak follow wherever she goes and as time goes on, she doesn’t know if she will survive this.
THIS STORY!!! HOLY HELL!! While I have loved every book in this series Malum: Part II was on a whole other level, even for Amo Jones. The more of her stories I read the more I feel like she has survived some terrible things and we see that in every character she writes from Tillie’s courage, to Nate’s strength, and Bishop’s love.
This was a five star book for me and because I can’t think of anything else but BRANTLEY I am diving right in to Sancte Diaboli: Part One.
It just keeps getting crazy
Although I’m not liking what has been happening to our silver swan she has been through some tough ish that is causing her to act out of character. I hope we soon can see her get some help and recover and heal.
I need to see how this all plays out bc the more questions that are answered the more questions we get left with. That’s what makes this series so exciting and addicting.
Damn, I don’t know if I feel relieved or sad that this book is finally over. It was one of the hardest ones to read so far. Secrets were spilled, hearts were broken and hope was reborn.
You can see how Jones has grown as an author with each book she writes, it’s one of my favourite things about this, seeing these amazing authors work, and being able to read their books and being a part of their growth. It’s a honour really.
She made us suffer and mourn so that she could bring demons back from the dead in the next book. It’s evil and fucked with my mind, leaving me numb. But that’s what this author does, she rips our hearts out so she can brutally put it back together, and then she does it again, and again, and again. It’s exhausting and painful, but I guess I’m a fucking masochist, because I’m a sucker for the pain she puts us through.
Scarlett was my favourite so far, she’s so fucking smart and astute, she was born to be a queen, and she fits in their world, because she gets them. She understands their demons and embraces her own. I think that’s one of the reasons for her weird friendship with Brantley. She sees through his darkness, and her own demons recognises his. It’s actually quite amazing to read about their dynamics, how she pushes his buttons, calling him Bran Bran, shes the only one that gets away with it, because they share a special connection. It’s precious. They are precious, and after this book I can say that Brantley is my favourite King. His complexity and secrets call to me, he’s intoxicating.
Answers still remain, what’s going to happen with Madi? Where the fuck is Saint? And has someone finally cracked Brantley’s black heart? I can’t fucking wait to find out
Heart – Shattered
I’m –
Still mad at Bishop
Don’t trust Hector
Not sure about our newest white-haired princess
In love with Bran Bran
Firmly believe Tilly is a machine- that girl has a heart of gold and a spine of titanium
On the fence about Nate- I might forgive him someday
Exasperated with Mads- you need to fight back be honest with yourself and Bishop
Curious about Abel … I’m not telling but OMG
“ ’ ’ ,”
My gosh, this world does my head in. Just absolutely kills me dead. Tillie and Nate. Madison and Bishop. Brantley and his keep away.
Like. Can y’all please get it together?
I wasn’t prepared for most of what I got in this book, except for the lead up to the next. That I was prepared for.
I’m ready for more EKC.
Okay, so I’ll be honest. Their first book was a struggle for me until 55% approximately, which surprised me. Even walked away for many months because the Nate I knew and loved was just gone, replaced with nothing likable. NOTHING. He was in the negative with me, with no redeeming qualities, and I love a good a*shole hero. I kept wondering why she was putting up with his BS.
Well, ya know, Brantley is coming and my OCD won’t allow skipping, so I dove back in. I got past the 50% mark in Malum Evil One and things got better—I was excited again—then hit chapter 42 I believe it was and things went to sh*t in ways I’m not sure I’ve ever been prepared for reading fiction. I don’t have triggers, but some things hit too close to home in ways I guess. I was heartbroken, unsure if I could keep going after having to read something like that. Does it happen in real life, yes, but I don’t exactly wanna read about it in my happy place.
I pushed through, and let me tell you, book two is a shit-storm of WTF?! Moments. I devoured it in two days, which is almost unheard of for me since I’m a slower, very comprehensive reader, remembering most of what I read, even years later. Even with their constant ups and downs, I was somewhat happy again, but the end! My faith has been restored lol. I’m busting at the seems with excitement, reminding me exactly why I fell in love with this series. Nate is my Nate again. Madison—not gonna go there. Brantley is my new favorite! Even Eli. I do kind of hope it’s answered at some point who her other biological parent is.
CANNOT WAIT FOR BRANTLEY’S BOOK!
Oh my goodness! I love Nate and Tillie’s story. They fought everything seemed like it was set up against them. I loved her fire. She didn’t back down and handled everything throw her way like a Queen. Micalea’s death killed me, but I’m so glad I trusted that all of it would work out.
